This was a nice, cute and fast read. In this graphic novel, Debbie Tung delivers us a series of comics about the usual situations that couples often find themselves in. Incredibly funny, this book is ideal for people who are in long term relationships and want to share a laugh with their loved ones.

I thought this book was cute BUT it was just random things that happened between the couple. There was not an actual story.

A nice and sweet comic about a married couple. I've always liked books by Debbie Tung and this one was no exception. The images were cute and adorable, I felt myself giggling with moments of awe. This is one of the books that couples will enjoy the most. Loved it

I love Debbie Tung! Her drawing style is simple, yet really tells a great story and is super relatable! She has a way of really drawing the reader in with common situations and it's easy to see similarities in her life to our own. I recommend her for fans of nonfiction graphic novels who also enjoy humor and lightheartedness.

I LOVED this little book so much! It's all about the author Debbie's romance and everyday life with her husband and it's SO cute! It reminds me a lot of my relationship with my husband, so it made me smile while reading it. I frequently screenshot-ed pages of the book to share with my husband because I thought it was so cute and reminded me of us. This book of comics is adorable, funny, sweet, and silly. It's the perfect fluffy read.

I believe the intent was a slice of life comedy. Which for me fell flat in the comedy aspect. Perhaps I'd get the humor if I was married but I doubt it. I felt that the setup for some jokes could be better. I wished the author would take longer than a page to try and tell a joke. I also wish there were more titles to each part as I was not sure whether some were apart of the same scene.

Happily Ever After & Everything in Between by Debbie Tung is a sweet, almost cozy collection of comics about Debbie and her husband’s early years of marriage. While my newlywed days are long behind me, I still found much that was relatable in her little vignettes of daily newlywed life, whether it’s the daily squabble over the thermostat setting, or the pleasure of a quiet night at home together. Also, who doesn’t love a spouse who buys you books? The black and white art is charming, Debbie and her husband are sweet, and the stories are low stakes and positive. While the art and writing are unclear about ethnic identity, Debbie is apparently a Brit of Asian descent, so there are a few jokes or terms that were specifically British, and a bit of diversity underlying a fairly white-passing comic strip.

This is overall a very relaxing read, perfect for snuggling up next to my husband under the covers on a chilly evening. There’s nothing revelatory about the collection–imagine a less neurotic Sarah’s Scribbles, or a Seinfeld-esque book about nothing, except starring a likable married couple. But during a pandemic, a sweet and relaxing collection of comics might be exactly what we need.

I'm an all around fan of Debbie Tung. I love the realness she portrays in her graphics and shows that even though something may look really great on the outside, there's always something hidden on the inside.

Super sweet collection of comics from a favorite artist. I've enjoyed her comics about books in the past and also enjoyed this newest collection of comics about relationships.

Debbie Tung hasn't failed to impress me this time also. This is not the first time I'm reading her works. The first one I read was Book Love. When Happily ever after was up for review I didn't have a second thought and immediately requested for the book. The book gave me no reason to regret this decision. Many things in this book are relatable. This sweet and cosy comic book with beautiful illustrations has succeded in portraying the fact that even the most trivial things in life is enjoyable and memorable.

I love it!! But it is no surprise, because I have read her comics before, I had to read it once I saw this one. It was all really relatable and sweet. This one was no different.
.
I married my boyfriend who is really my best friend too. This seemed so so relatable, the way they are so comfortable with each other, only that sometimes roles are exchanged from these snippets of daily life.😅
.
It's sweet and funny. It is the little things in everyday like which are enjoyable and sweet like how similar we are or how we adjust to the differences we have. We are in it together whatever life brings us. and so glad these are from the author's own life.
.
Some are quite common and in all such comics, but still really enjoyable.

If, like me, you’re a fan of graphic novels with themed comics and cute art, Debbie Tung’s work is probably your cup of tea. When I read her book called "Book Love", I had such a fun time laughing at the relatable panels and seeing myself in the pages. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think "Happily Ever After & Everything In Between" is even better.

Tung’s art style is quirky and simple – it’s in grey-scale too – in the cutest way possible. I think the minimalist style suits the comics, and gets across the story without being overwhelming (as some graphic novel art can be). When you open the book, you know you’re seeing Tung’s work.

The stories themselves are separate but each tie into the theme of love and relationships so well. There’s a good balance of light-hearted, funny, and more emotional stories. I also think it’s incredibly relatable, whether you’re currently in a relationship or not. It draws you into the novel easily and brings a smile to your face that lasts until the last page. I don’t think there’s a single thing I didn’t like about the novel, to be completely honest.

If you’re looking for a feel-good graphic novel about love, this needs to be on your tbr. It sets itself apart from the Catana Chetwynd novels, but if you like Chetwynd’s novels you’ll enjoy this one too.

Debbie Tung is hilarious and I will continue to read and/or request anything she puts out. Some of these got a chuckle and some got a flat out belly laugh.

Another charming, funny, and exceptionally relatable slice-of-life collection from the great Debbie Tung! Just what the doctor ordered on a gloomy day.

I really enjoyed Debbie Tung's Book Love and following her slice-of-life comics on Instagram. This book chronicles her life with her husband. Tung is a talented artist, and succeeds at capturing relatable and funny moments that happen when living with someone you love. Still, the collection overall feels a bit one-note. What you get in the first few pages is what you get throughout. This isn't a surprise for a collection of individual comics, but given Tung's artwork and humor I found myself wanting more and craving a narrative structure.

that kind of book that you'd love to give your loved ones. a fair warning for a fellow lonely reader tho: this is gonna sting. anyway, it's highly recommended!

Cute but moreso for the couple involved I'd say. It was cute, yes, but in a cliché and not so funny way. I think the aim was humor, no? I wouldn't really recommend this title unless you really loved the author's previous works.

Ms Tung draws such delightfully relatable comics! I discovered through her previous book Book Love so I was excited to receive her newest book here for review. The little snippets of her life that she put into this book are sure to feel familiar to many married couples. Her cute art style and the cozy feel of the comics make this a book sure to sell itself right off the counter display!
