I absolutely adored this book. So witty, fresh, and real - I felt like it was written just for me. I saw myself in the examples. Maharani is such a relatable author - with such a unique voice and lived experience. It's quite the combo. The Asses Directory is especially poignant (and hilarious). All in all a gem of a book! Can't wait to share it with my students who are stuck on the fence, living half-assed lives.

Interesting and insightful book about how to really live with purpose. The author delved into different personality types and what works best for each. I enjoyed the sarcasm and wit as well

Since quarantine started, I hadn’t really been in the mood to read a self-help book, but this title looped me in and overall the author made a lot of good points. It was good for a debut book, but honestly, there’s other self-help books I would recommend to my friends before this one. I had high expectations and it just didn’t meet them.
I really did enjoy this quote from the book, “It’s easy to engage life when everything seems to be going smoothly. The trick is engaging it with the same momentum when it all seems to be conspiring against you.”
