I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

This is a bright and colourful hide and seek book for children. I loved it and spent time on each page finding all the objects to find as well as looking for ladybug. There is a story to go with the pages which children will enjoy and learn from. A great mind boosting game for thinking and memory.

We really enjoyed this story! The mixture of animals and bugs was a lot of fun and my daughter really liked them all! A group of friends is looking for their missing pet. As they move from place to place, you have to look in the the scene for the missing pet.

I loved the illustrations in this book! There is so much detail and so many things to look at! I highly recommend for any child that enjoys a seek and find style book.

I was provided an advanced reader's copy of this book for free. I am leaving my review voluntarily.

A fun and engaging search-and-find book with a charming story, plenty of activities to keep kids entertained, and some hilarious visual jokes for the adults following along. The adorable art and sweet narrative make this puzzle book stand out.

This was fun!!
I always love books like this. Finding things as we read. It kind of reminds me of Where"s Wally but instead we're gonna look for ladybug.
I can't imagine how beautiful this book would be in a real life, as the illustration is super gorgeous.
I think you're gonna have a lot of fun finding the ladybug with your kids in Ocean City :D
A great book to create activity together with your kids!

Ladybug wants adventure of his own while Basil and Daisy go on vacation. This is a colorful, seek and find book, perfect for reading out loud for younger kids. It was fun searching for Ladybug and the other items in the story but also just as fun looking through the imaginative underwater scenes.

Fun art and a cute concept of searching all over to find pet Ladybug.

I thought the reading level was quite high/hard for the age range that I imagined this for. Sometimes, that’s fine, but this seems like the kind of book that kids lay on the floor with and play with independently (and not have read aloud to them). Maybe I’m wrong.

Thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

In this book you can find ladybird in each double page spread packed with colour and fun animals doing various activities.

Showing the concern and joy of friendship especially when a friend disappears this is a fun colourful book to draw in kids attention and teach them the value of friendship.

Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!

The illustrations in this book are beautiful and vibrant. The story is a nice touch that makes it different from traditional seek-and-find books. It is great for younger kids and is just so pretty!

In the story, detectives Daisy and Basil are ready for a vacation.  They decide to go to the Poseidon Diving School for detectives with Ladybug.  However, Ladybug is bored and takes off...will he be found? Will our detectives be equal to the task?

This book is intricately and beautifully illustrated.  In it readers are encouraged to search for ladybug, someone sleeping, someone crying, five sea snakes and one stripy camouflaged cuttlefish and other items in each scene as they go from Seaweed Central Station to Octopus Gardens, the Museum, the Building Site and more. It is a fun journey.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.  This is easily one of the most gorgeous search and find books that I have ever seen.

This book was so much fun!!

I loved the illustrations and the use of intricate patterns, especially the recreations of famous painting in the museum!

I also enjoyed that there was more to it that just searching for the lady bird, like looking at what else was going on in the pictures and other fun activities such as the maze! This will definitely be a hit in our house as my son loves books where we have to interact rather that just being read to!

There are no pictures in the copy I downloaded, just text around the pages and occasional pages of line static. Sorry, I can't review this book in this format.

Two detectives need a break and go on a vacation, taking their pet Ladybug with them. They learn how to search for things under water, but Ladybug is bored by the lesson and decides to play hide-and-seek without telling anyone.

So the two friends search in Ocean City for Ladybug. Each double page shows another area, pull of colourful ocean habitants, and mentions three things you should look for in the illustrations. There is so much to look and giggle at, as the animals do whatever floats their boat. Even if it means wearing a bucket as a helmet.

I think that little ones will have much fun with this one.

This is a brilliant little book!
I won’t lie I was a bit confused to start with, the introduction confused me and I thought I was only looking for the things that were in capital letters on the first page, but once I started reading it I understood! It was fun. It’ll definitely keep children entertained for a WHILE and I can see them finding this very fun.
The illustrations are gorgeous and I loved the little storyline.

Look for Ladybug in Ocean City is a super fun and colorful look and find book. My kids really enjoyed the huge array of things going on on the page. The book wasn't too easy or too difficult for them to navigate. My boys definitely enjoyed it.

These "search and find" books were and still are my jam. This book was so colorful, even though it really works better as a physical book more than an e-book. But it's so lovely about finding a ladybug as well as other surprises in different scenes under the sea. I enjoyed the cute art style and the challenges.

I thank netgalley for the digital copy.

My youngest child has fun with these "look and find" books so I thought this would be a good fit for her. It's a fine entry. The writing is a little amateur but children will have fun looking for the ladybug and other items as two detective animal friends search Ocean City for their lost little spotted friend. Sweet artwork accompanies the sometimes oddball story line. Children will definitely be challenged in finding all of the objects.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for the purpose of review.

Look for Ladybug in Ocean City is a search and find book. Ladybug has run off to play hide and seek with his friends Basil and Daisy. Each of the scenes is based off a different section in Ocean City and the art is pretty neat. My two kids ages 5 and 9 had fun reading this book with me and seeing who could find the items on the pages first.

I was provided with an electronic ARC through NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

I’m a big fan of search-and-find books and this one is charming! The art is adorable and colorful, filled with cute sea creatures and imaginative locations. The puzzles are connected by a simple but sweet story about two detectives searching for their lost pet which kids will enjoy. The puzzles are not particularly challenging which may make them less engaging for older readers but are still a pleasure to look at!

When Ladybug starts a game of hide and seek, detectives Daisy and Basil have to search through an underwater kingdom to find him. They'll need little readers to help them keep an eye out as they travel through ice festivals and thermal vent spas, until Ladybug finally comes home.

This bright, lovely story was lots of fun to read. The artwork is incredibly intricate with so much to explore on every page. We will be able to read this plenty of times before we run out of new things to spot. My three year old and five year old really enjoyed searching for the funny animals on each page, and they learnt how to identify a few new ones too. This book would make a great gift, or a perfect way to entertain children stuck indoors.
