Life has not been kind to Pepper Taylor, her hopes and dreams of falling in love and travelling the world have never materialised. So when she is offered the opportunity to travel to Lisbon with her older friend Josephine, she jumps at the chance. Meeting handsome and no nonsense Finn in Lisbon shows her that there can be more to life if you are willing to take the chance. But will Pepper have the confidence to take her life off hold and finally confront her past?
A good book with a great cast of characters. A story of love and friendship which was an entertaining and enjoyable read.

Brilliant read, could not put it down.
Peppa (Phillipa) an arts and crafts teacher who so badly wants to broaden her horizons but doesnt see how she can. Josephine asks Peppa to accompany her to retrace her past. Can Peppa change her life? Meet the man of her dreams? With some ups and downs along the way follow Peppa on her way, can Peppa have the life shes always dreamed about?
Easy to read, but gripping. You want to rush through the book to find out the end, but you also dont want it to finish.
Praise for Isabelle Broom

Very good. Love how this author can make you believe that you have been to another country without leaving your seat. The settings were richly described and believable as you felt like you were in Lisbon, Hamburg and Barcelona roaming the streets breathing in all the sights and sounds. Characters were well rounded and felt like like real people and you felt every emotion they were going through.

Pepper has never left home. After the death of her sister, she feels compelled to stay in Suffolk. Until her friend Josephine convinces her to accompany her on a trip to Lisbon. There she meets Finn. Can a holiday romance last?
This book was a gorgeous summer read. I devoured it in one sitting this afternoon with a glass of wine or three! Can't wait to recommend it to everyone I know!

Another awesome book from Isabelle Broom!
I loved Pepper as a character, she’s relatable, likeable and someone you could imagine as your friend. Her trip and the shenanigans she gets up to are fun, warm and enjoyable. Great book
