I am generally wordy when reviewing. Professor Ullrich has produced an excellent new history of the Downfall of Adolf Hitler. Enough said. Simply excellent.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. Any insight into the the enigmatic life of this leader should be well recieved. Downfall is well written and detailed, more importantly, easy to read. It is a must have for any student of World War II and Hitler's Germany.

This is a very in-depth look at Hitler during World War 2. The book is cogently written and provides a sweeping overview of Germany and its leader. It is an excellent addition to the literature on one of history’s greatest monsters.

This was well written and researched. Probably the best biography I have read about Hitler's demise without reading Volume 1 Hitler's Ascent. Obviously, theses two volumes are to be read in conjunction of each other. I felt this was a decent account of his peak and decline. IT IS NOT AN EASY TO STOMACH READ. All the devastation, torturing and lives lost die to his beliefs is incomprehensible but it happened. This book will definitely make you emotional.

Highly recommended if you are into reading Germany, Third Reich an Nazi hostory during WWII.

Thanks to Netgalley, Volker Ulrich and Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
