Start Within is a great read for general business tips. I am able to take many of the authors ideas about communication, organization, and listening that I can apply to the work that I do every day at my corporation. This book provided tips about listening and assumptions that I had no read about in other books. The book subtitle discusses how to love you job, but that seemed to be a minor focus in this book. Overall, this is a great book for anyone who wants to improve their idea generation within the workplace!

I liked the book overall. It felt wordy in places, being a bit more concise may have helped to push the book along at a better cadence. The steps for getting your idea off the ground and seeing it though to the ultimate end goal of being implemented were laid out well and realized in way that really does help. Understanding how corporations work and the way they look at internal ideas is something that I've always found interesting and the way it is presented here along with testimonials makes it easy to understand. Overall I enjoyed the read and found it to be very informative. A good framework for pushing your ideas forward.
