A free ARC from Net Galley
I was scared, scared to read this one
After 'Small Town' I thought it was over
But I am pleased to say he's baaaaaack,
Older and grayer but great story and action that reminds you that "an old snake is no less poisonous"!!
BOOM BOOM, welcome back all fans of Perry!!!
As always Thomas Perry gives us a solid crime novel with action, suspense, and plenty of running action. Those unfamiliar with Perry will should not hesitate to enjoy his works. Thank you Netgalley and his publisher for a fine early preview. Much appreciated. And as always, highly recommended.
The Butcher’s Boy is no longer a boy, but some memories never die. The author has another hit on his hands as the senior citizen becomes the target of of a myriad of would killers. Wherever he goes, it seems someone is already there. As the story plays out, the butcher’s boy, Michael Schaefer, works with an FBI agent, while avoiding/outsmarting organized crime.
Perry returns to the top of his form with this book. Well written, fast paced, intelligent and complex, this is a stellar example of the hit man genre. Read it.
