I thoroughly enjoyed Woman Suffrage and Politics. The authors give an in-depth look at the fascinating history of the suffrage movement in the United States that feels inextricably linked to our current discussions around gender and prejudice. It feels particularly important in today's political climate to appreciate the sacrifices made to give us the rights we currently enjoy, and this detailed look at history reminded me not to take those for granted.

A comprehensive and detailed look into the suffrage movement in the United States (with smaller detours to Europe once in a while for context) which beautifully show that the suffrage movement was about more than just women's rights - it was indistinguishable from the fight to end slavery, the fights for equality for all as well as morality.
