I was completely taken by this book. Could not put it down. I felt as if I was completely connected to the characters and could feel every emotion and spark between them.
Matt and Lexi are two best friends that are blind to the real, lifelong companionship that is truly between them; the kind that others would kill for. Everyone around them can see it but them, until one fateful event causes them to see what could be right in front of them. However, is it worth risking everything they already have? I felt as if I was reading my own story but there was finally an ending that I had daydreamed about many of times and I know I am not the only one who has dreamed up a perfect ending situation like this! Sarah Ballance can write!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book thanks to Netgalley and the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed the friends to lovers story between Lexi and Matt. I won’t lie, at first I despised Matt and their friends for their constant teasing and blocking of Lexi finding someone to date, but I quickly realized why Diego and company did this. It became amusing to see just how deliberately blind Lexi and Matt both insisted on being until it all finally blew up in their faces. Of course, then they had to find a way to fix what they thought they broke, which was entertaining enough in itself. Overall, this was a quick and fun read.

4.5 stars! A thoroughly lovely and heartwarming friends to lovers romance! This isn’t a trope that we see very often and I loved the way it was used here. Highly recommended!

This ‘Friends to Lovers’ story was full of wittiness and banter, I thought it was a cute fun read.

Lexi & Matt’s longtime friendship is tested when Lexi ends up living with him for a few weeks after she accidentally burns down her kitchen. You’ll start seeing how their friendship starts to change as they realize how attracted they are to each other, especially when Lexi’s starts online dating.

I really enjoyed this book. Plus you can’t go wrong with a sexy firefighter.
