This was just what I needed at the moment. A well written story about 2 slightly mad rich women and revenge. Pure escapism, I read it in 2 day’s.

***Thanks to NetGalley for providing me a complimentary copy of EVERY LAST SECRET by A R Torre in exchange for my honest review.***

Ingredients:

2 Desperate Housewives
2 Hapless Husbands
0 Children exposed to their depravity (thankfully)

Add:

1 Opulent Mansion
1 Imperfect Mansion

Sprinkle with:

Frenemy syrup
Backstabbing
Cheating
Lies

Top with:

Delicious writing

Mix ingredients and you have a delightful story, a guilty pleasure. I felt like I shouldn’t root for either of these main characters or hope their lives turned out positive.

Alpha dog Cat wasn’t prepared for a Neena to enter her orb and Neena never imagined the breadth of Cat’s wrath. I was #TeamNeena .

I don’t want to say any more about the story for fear of spoiling anything. Mystery/Thriller and Women’s Fiction fans will enjoy this story if they like villainous main characters.

When I saw that Alessandra Torre had a new book I was so excited. I adored The Ghostwriter even if it tore my heart out. Well, Every Last Secret isn't The Ghostwriter but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Ghostwriter was an emotional gut-punch of a book where this is more of a trashy, Housewives from wherever type of deal.

This book is far from ground breaking as we have all read this story before. Two women fighting over a guy that is hardly worth it but there is something to be said of two unreliable and unlikable women going for each others jugular at every turn of the page. It's compelling as all get out. Just when you think they can stoop no lower then BOOM! Oh no she didn't becomes oh yes she did!

This book didn't hold many surprises for me but it was still plenty entertaining. Fun? Sure. Ridiculous? Yes. Am I glad I read it? Heck yeah, if only for the reason that I'm thankful to not know any people like this in my real life. Ha! 3.5 stars!

Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for providing me with a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A twisty thriller, Every Last Secret was highly enjoyable to read. I read it in one sitting, as I did not want to put it down! I loved the twists and turns the book took and reading the two main characters' POV was great.

Let me just start by saying that there is not one character in this book that is a redeeming human being. With that being said, I devoured this book! Twenty four hours of which I couldn’t put it down. Will be looking up more reads from this author! This was a mix of some of the best! Big Little Lies meets the Last Mrs Parish with the psychological drama that flows throughout as an undercurrent! In all honesty, with characters this deplorable (but well written!), it doesn’t matter who you are rooting for you just can’t wait to turn the page. Thank you again for an advanced copy of this book. I will surely be recommending to my little book club!

I want to thank NetGalley, Thomas & Mercer, and author A.R. Torre for providing me with an ARC of this novel!

This gorgeous cover pulled me in, and I was not disappointed with the story that lay beneath. If you are a fan of psychological thrillers, this is a new one for you to pick up and read! You will not be able to put it down; it is non-stop twistiness that you will love. I also loved the differing points of view, I really thought this brought great angles to the story line. I was kept guessing until the very end and did not expect the conclusion at all. Cat and Neena were a great pair to read about; they sucked me in and knocked me on my butt. Grab this in October, you won’t regret it!

Thank you again to those named above for the opportunity to read and review this novel!

Cat Winthrope is a gracious, accomplished woman who has worked hard to achieve the life she leads. So when new neighbors moves in next door to Cat and her husband, William, Cat does her best to make the new couple feel welcome. Neena is a life coach who has clawed her way to the top despite her loser of a husband. She quickly decides that William is the type of husband she wants, the husband she deserves. How far will Neena go to get what she wants and how far will Cat go to stop her?

I tore through this book. At some parts, I almost wish I was being watched while reading it, so my facial expressions could have been recorded. The decisions the characters made annoyed me a lot. But by the end, I was turning those electronic pages wanting to see those cookies crumble. Sometimes, in a book like this, you favour one side. Maybe it's the underdog, or maybe its the winner. I didn't see any winners here. And that's part of the reason I liked it. I like flawed characters; and I like when they're written well. I wasn't sold so much on Neena's plot line. I just didn't get her; but if I went into it too much in this review, then the joy of discovery would be taken away for new readers. I will say, at the end of the book, the author acknowledged that you'll like the story, or you won't. I'm the former.

An incredible thriller that kept me on my toes the whole time. The storyline was exceptional and the characters engaging and believable.

Loved this one! Grabbed me from the very first page and kept me hooked. Absolutely one of the best domestic thrillers I've read in a while! A.R. Torre alternates chapters between two women, each unreliable in their own way, and both voices ring true and mange to be sympathetic in their own way. This one kept me guessing until the very end- nothing is as it seems!

Clear an afternoon because you're not going to want to stop reading!
