This book meets the current gap in articulating the role of a pharmacist in sports. It provides a good overview of the regulatory issues covering a wide variety of sports. It also very briefly summarizes the basic pharmacology of performance enhancing drugs. However the book lacks illustrations or figures and is too much of text and tables. Overall a practical book for pharmacists looking to venture into new careers like working with healthy athletes in addition to caring for the patients!. .
