Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this title.
The illustrations are very nice but I found the story lacking something - it just wasn't grabbing my attention and unforutnately I don't think it would grab the attention of my children either.

Little wise wolf has no time for others- he has too much to read to become wiser. When the king calls wolf to come help him, the wolf realizes the power of friendship. This is a great book for children. So many lessons- how to treat your friends, books make you smart, and that you can't do everything on your own.

A heartwarming story about friendship and growth. Little Wise Wolf is about a wolf who is permanently stuck in big books and has no time for others. Only through his journey to the king, he learns the importance of helping others and that there is always more to learn.
The accompanying illustrations are gorgeous and the animals are cute. I just wish the colours were more vibrant. Also, it may be difficult to view some texts as it blends in with the background at times. Other than that, this is a quick read with a satisfying ending.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A nice reminder that sharing our wisdom and knowledge is always the best option. Accompanied by lovely sparse/minimalistic illustrations, this is a nice book.

A very good book that teaches the importance of working together and not being secluded from others.
Thanks to NetGalley, Kids Can Press, Gijs van der Hammen, Hanneke Siemensma and Laura Watkinson for a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Little Wise Wolf is a beautifully illustrated folk tale that teaches us that everyone has role to play and everyone's skills and knowledge are important.

A very nice fable about cooperation, with some really pleasant and atmospheric illustration. The wise wolf, permanently with his head stuck in his books, or discovering new herbs or stars, has no time for his 'friends', until they react as only friends can when he's called off on a royal mission. It tells us to forgive impetuous people their hubris and bluntness, and that helping people can be a pleasant thing to do, even if you don't expect much back in return. Digitally the size of the font didn't always work with the full-colour artwork under the text, but a real copy would be something to look at more than once.
