Ah, how I loved my visit back to Moose Springs. It was an absolutely perfect read for Christmas in July coming up!

A moose on the loose literally bent on destroying the town, a rich socialite determined to fit in, and an accidental tranquilizer incident involving a local resident. A Christmas war has ensued. Can the town possibly be saved this holiday season?

This is another quirky, fun, feel-good story that is just an absolute delight to get lost in. I just adore this community and the characters we meet along the way. The swoon-worthy romance, the over the top ridiculous, the hilarity of what ensues, this book delivered it all.

If you love those cozy small town vibes and books set in Alaska, with a side of brimming charm and heart, then this is the book for you! I highly recommend this book and if you haven’t already read The Tourist Attraction (the previous book in this series) yet, go right on ahead and read it after this one.

Thank you so much NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the gifted e-copy!

Traveling to Moose Springs in THE TOURIST ATTRACTION was a lot fun, so I was more than happy to revisit the town and everyone who lives there in MISTLETOE AND MR. RIGHT.

I loved catching up with the townspeople of Moose Springs as they prepare for the holiday season and try to figure out how to protect their community from the influx of tourists and a mystery moose set on destruction.

I loved reading MISTLETOE AND MR. RIGHT for the laughs and for the romance and all of the unexpected moments of ridiculousness. While this book is set during Christmas, I don't consider it only a Christmas-time read and it can be read and enjoyed any time of the year.

It was fun to visit Moose Springs and I can’t wait to go back.

All the stuff I loved about THE TOURIST ATTRACTION was in this story too, but also lots of ....... other stuff. I adored Lana and Rick and all of Moose Springs, but I would have edited the Santa Moose storyline and the whole family-drama storyline at the end right out. Just me though! Can’t wait to read book 3.

Another delightful and quirky tale from Moose Springs. I look forward to reading more about these characters and this town.

This was certainly escapist in that I felt I was on a snowy mountain with them in the middle of a charming winter tale. It was just a bit too cute for me but is certainly a comforting, easy read if that is what you are wanting!

This was a fun sequel to The Tourist Attraction! I do think I liked the first book slightly more, but I enjoyed my time reading this one. I think this series is pretty delightful and I'm looking forward to the third book. Would recommend!

If you’re after a sweet holiday romance set in Alaska, look no further, Mistletoe and Mr Right is the second book in the Moose Springs series and so far it’s my favourite!
Here we have the heartwarming story of Lana a rich socialite, who is trying to change the town for the better and Rick, a quiet, sweet town local.
This book was swoon-worthy, heartwarming, angsty, and hilarious. It was a great escape from pandemic life into rural Alaska

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, The Tourist Attraction, so I was excited to get my hands on this one. However, this one feel flat for me. The book started off slow and I wasn't invested in Lana and Rick's relationship. The relationship between Graham and Zoey in the first book was so cute and fun that I was expecting more from this book. I would have liked this book more if it were shorter and faster paced.

A hilarious and wonderful holiday read! So sweet and laugh out loud funny. I love a fish out of water and opposites attract romance and this fills both of those categories!

Tw sexual harassment, car crash

This was actually a bit of an uphill battle as far as reading ability. I feel that the plot and the extraneous detail is a bit of weight that the reader needs to carry unnecessarily. There’s not much there that’s earned in order to outweigh that longer page count.

I had requested the ARC for Mistletoe and Mr. Right without realizing it was part of a series. Luckily my friend let me know before I read it so I was able to snag the audio for The Tourist Attraction from the library first. I devoured BOTH books in record time - they are JUST THAT GOOD. I loved each and every character from Moose Springs, Alaska. I liked how even though some parts were outlandish, they were in a good and endearing way unlike some other books I read. I also could completely relate to our girl Lana’s tremors since I also have that affliction.

If you are looking to get completely submerged in a small town in Alaska while also having holiday feels (in the second book), LOOK NO FURTHER. Also guess what? Book 3 is out now!

Thanks so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for the ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

Mistletoe and Mr. Right is a clean contemporary romance that would be good for young readers or those that like a very vanilla storyline (a la you can enjoy it with your mom, grandmother, and a random stranger you don't wish to offend), i..e. it's pretty generic. Lana Montgomery is described as a go-getter socialite, but with a heart of gold or steel (depending on which side of the business you on), but she's lonely (maybe a bit depressed). She has cause to be as her family situation is complicated. However, the family dynamic lacks dramatic effect, and it all feels forced. The poor little rich girl angle is uninspiring, and the romance lacks heat.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment in the Moose Springs, Alaska romcom series. Introduced in the first book, Lana gets her own story as she falls for Rick, a local with a heart of gold. I can't wait to read the third book in the series!

The tourist attraction was amazing so I went into this book with high hopes. It was exceeded! It was fun, romantic, real and occasionally smutty which I felt just enough,

Having read the first book in the Moose Springs, Alaska series, The Tourist Attraction, and really enjoyed, I jumped at the chance to read the follow-up.

This book started out slow for me. Maybe I wasn’t as invested in the main protagonists as I was with the first book, or maybe the pacing felt slower… I’m not absolutely sure, but I did put this book down for a while before I decided to pick it back up again to get caught up and ready for book three.

When I picked it back up I still struggled to keep my attention on reading, and ultimately skimmed some of the relationship-building to get to the end. This is Lana and Rick’s story and just like the first book features a whole lot of local politics and the town not wanting to the tourism industry. This is a problem since Lana’s real estate company owns so much of the town and wants to bring even more tourists to the area. Rick is a local small business owner and all-around nice guy who falls for her.

Lana and Rick are sweet together. Their chemistry falls more into the soft, gentle side category rather the hot and heavy with lust, but it worked for this couple. They become friends and then slowly move on to more. There is a power dynamic that kind of complicates things since Lana is from a big family-owned corporate company that owns so much of the town, including Rick’s pool hall, and Rick barely has two nickels to rub together and is behind on his rent. I was wondering how this relationship would even work, but the author does an okay job of crafting their HEA.

In the end, I’m glad I went back and finished this book. I believe this series is better read in order rather than as stand-alones and now I’m ready to dive into Easton’s book.

3.5 stars

I enjoyed my second trip to Moose Springs, Alaska with Mistletoe and Mr. Right. I was curious about Lana in The Tourist Trap and was sure we’d discover hidden depths when it was her turn, and we did. Lana is driven, persistent, and loyal, and when she finds something she cares about - whether it’s her friendship with Zoey and Graham, the small town of Moose Springs, or a certain sweet, lonely pool hall owner - she gives it her all.

The Moose Springs books are so cute and fun. I love the town (it reminds me of Stars Hollow), the quirky characters, and the storylines. I liked Lana and Rick together and separately, and I appreciated how well fleshed-out they were. Lana wants what’s best for Moose Springs, despite what its residents think, and she works hard to prove herself, not only to them but to her family-slash-business-partners as well. I enjoyed watching them break each other’s walls down and let each other in. I was also glad we got to see so much of Zoey and Graham since I really enjoyed their story.

My only real issue with this book was the same one I had with the first book: it was sooo looong. There were unnecessary subplots and extra scenes that made the book drag at times. I think if this book had been 50-1oo pages shorter, the story would have been much tighter and more enjoyable. That being said, I’m looking forward to more books in this series, and I hope to read Enjoy the View soon.

I did not know how Sarah Morgenthaler was going to follow The Tourist Trap, but she completely delivered and then so with Mistletoe and Mrs. Right. I loved everything about it. It was well done. I can’t wait to dive into the third installment. I LOVE THIS SERIES!

I love when a rom-com sequel is a spin-off onto a secondary character from the first book and that's just what this is! In Mistletoe and Mr Right we have all The rom-com moments that we know and love, similar to in the first book. Lana's character really shines in book 2, with much of the first portion of the book focusing on her. We really get to know her personality more. I'm excited to read the third book.

It was a fun read with a slightly convoluted plot at times that I felt was too much for a lighthearted story. I didn't really care for the real-estate side plot as her business decision to invest money on Moose Springs felt stupid, to be quite honest, and we never saw any condos being built so it was just the heroine arguing with her family and trying to justify her decision of getting land in the middle of nowhere.

The hero kept finding stupid excuses to not be with the heroine at the end and that kind of annoyed me, especially since neither of them expected the relationship to be anything more than a Christmas fling (even if we know it will end up being more).

It wasn't anything mind-blowing but it was quick and easy to follow. Perfect for the winter season.
