One of the defining features of this series is the continual reference to real-life mystery writers and their works. This book particularly discusses Golden age writers and their stories, including some I have never heard of before. Overall, this was an enjoyable read. The plot does play into some harmful stereotypes about bisexual people being promiscuous, however, which is why I have not rated it higher.
