We need more stories like this. It takes such courage to stand and say it happened to me when everyone is demanding your silence. An absolutely must read. Can't say much because I don't want to spoil anything. I want you to experience this magnificent story on your own . Happy reading!

This book gives an in-depth look at the emotional, psychological, and practical impact that survivers who come forward must go through. There's little information out there as to what survivors who decide to go through the legal system can expect, as well as guidance on how to deal with backlash in the form of NDA's and other silencing techniques that one might have to face if they challenge cases legally or openly speak out against their abuser. This is a memoir and resource wrapped into one, a necessary read for all survivors who want to find a blueprint for how to deal with institutional oppression.

I thought this book was well written, engaging and very important as the conversations post-MeToo evolve and become nuanced. The focus on university campuses especially felt incredibly well done and pertinent, as I am current a university student. At times I found the timeline confusing, but other than that I found this book well articulated and compelling.
