This book has a side title 'A devotional for young women'. I am not young but could see the value of the writing, readings and advice contained within. I have to admit that I have not read it all but would consider it as a resource to hand on to girls coming into their adult lives.

Thank you, NetGalley, Moody Publishers, Jen Barrick, and Linda Barrick for the advance copy of this devotional! I did not realize until I was about a third of the way through that it was geared towards teenage girls. However, I found so much applicable to my own life. I enjoyed hearing her experience and how she practically worked to change her perspective daily. We have the power to choose what we believe- lies or truth. So relevant and beautifully written!

The font drove me insane switching back and forth, but I won’t go into detail about how yucky that was.

I can guarantee you, my daughter will be reading this when she’s a bit older. Thanks for sharing your story!

#Beyond Priceless# by Jen Barrick is a Christian living book. It is a 30 day devotional for teens young adults or any woman. This devotional is practical and personal . The devotional talks about how when we feel a certain way God's character is there to meet and help us. The book shows the reader God's character which is different that we probably realize. The devotionals focus on real life issues and struggles. They are great and help refocus our minds. This devotional is an excellent help for the day to day life of the Christian. May the book be successful. Thank you to the publisher, netgalley, and the author. for allowing me to read and review this book. The opinions are my own.

Jesus is enough!

We go thru life with many emotions. We feel, we hurt, we lash out, we isolate, we long for something more. In our longing for the more is when we can find out who God is. Jen Barrick has gone thru her own pain which she lays out in her book as she introduces herself to her readers. This text is for the broken and how we can be strengthened in who God is.

One of my favorite versus is in Exodus. Do not strife for I will fight for you. Spoken to the Israelites as they are running from slavery and all that they knew to freedom. Freedom comes from knowing who God is and placing our faith and hope. Each chapter deals with an emotion and counters it with the truth of the gospel. To strengthen your faith and be reminded that Jesus is enough!

A special thank you to Moody Publishers and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review

BEYOND PRICELESS-I received this book on Kindle for the purpose of review from Net Galley. This book is a compilation of scripture, practical application and a prayer when you feel: lonely, hurting, grieving, anxious and so many more. The book has become a favorite of mine as I think through each day and find myself feeling various ways on various days. The word of God is BEYOND PRICELESS and her desire is also for you to know that you are BEYOND PRICELESS.. Ms. Barrick has done an excellent job of compiling the verses as well as the practical application. Great for a devotional for particularly women because it is a reminder of just how much we are loved and cared for by our great God. I highly recommend this for anyone and as a gift.

I received an ARC from Moody Publishers, via NetGalley. This review is my opinion.

When I read Jenn testimony, you can say: wow!. A truly walking miracle, the fact that amid his sorrow and pain she got closer to God is a great invitation and challenge to us.

To find a sound and necessary sound Biblical counsel it is a blessing, especially in this time when relativism is more in. With practical reflection, this devotions are a great addition for Bible time, especially for those how has hard time reading the bible or where can I start. With relatable themes especially for young woman with an easy and under stable way, this devotions well remind us we are Beyond Priceless, unique, loved and accept by God. Well done to Jenn and her mom, many will give up. May your life and this devotional inspire and encourage others to get closer to God.

I really enjoyed this devotional dealing with feelings because honestly, I deal with a lot of those and as I think everyone does.

First off, the author’s personal story is very inspiring and makes the devos that much more profound. Her writing is really encouraging yet simple. Her evident passion for God in her writing is so uplifting. She was also real and I felt like I got to know her through her writing as a sweet friend, sort of like we had a good pep talk each day. I loved it!

Each day for a total of 30 days, you have a devotional that goes something like this “When I feel....
God is....”
I really love that our focus throughout this devotional is on Him and Who He is!! When we take our focus off of ourselves, things get so much better.
There are also writing prompts/ questions with each devotional which is great if you would like to journal out your thoughts or if you’d just like to ask yourself the questions.
Each message is very relevant, things I think pretty much everyone on the planet feels at some point and time.

I think this a great devotional, especially for teen girls because during teen years you deal with a lot of moodiness and feelings but really, anyone could take something away from this!

*I would like to thank the publisher for sending me an ARC in exchange for an hone at review. All opinions are completely my own.

Beyond Priceless: Who God Is When I Feel. . .guides readers an amazing journey through the Psalms, discovering how the Bible is relevant and speaks to the every day. Author Jen Barrick helps readers discover how to be real with God about their feelings, and she helps them discover hope and peace in the psalms. She explores brokenness, depression, anxiety, jealousy, imperfection and insecurity, just to name a few topics. As a brain injury survivor who couldn’t remember her brother’s name or how to write her own name, Jen could recite every Scripture verse and sing every praise song she ever learned. Through the long road to her new normal as someone who is legally blind and has short-term memory loss, Jen’s personal stories mixed with Scripture and practical examples of how to read, pray and worship through the psalms are raw, honest, and real. She doesn’t offer religious platitudes, but helps readers simply learn how to climb into God’s lap and rest in him as they experience and express their emotions and let those lead them to Jesus. Beyond Priceless helps readers see how God sees them—as beyond priceless. She leads you to the Living Water and shows you how to drink deeply.

Note: I received a copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for this honest review. The opinions expressed are my own.

This book is a great devotional series for young women. The author has an incredible backstory and her love for Jesus shines through. This is a book I would recommend to mothers wanting to buy a book for their daughter who is in their teens (or the daughter themselves). It has practical applications, Bible verses and a Prayer for every day of the devotion.

I got this book in exchange for a honest review. While my library wouldn't buy this particular book, I will be recommending it to those who are interested in teenage girl devotional material.
