This book is exactly what you would expect. I loved quite a few of the jokes. Especially the dad and pun jokes. I think my kids were too little (6 & 8) to understand a bunch of them.

I totally understand not all jokes can be winners, but I enjoyed a little over half of them. Thus I will give this book 3 stars.

Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for my eARC in exchange for my honest review!

The jokes in this title concern twenty-one different topics  including (among others) A Long Day at School, Colorful Characters and From A to Z.  Learning to "get" jokes is a stage in children's development.  Those who have reached this milestone will, no doubt, enjoy sharing these jokes with others.  This book includes enough jokes to keep a child going for days.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

Good collection of jokes. This was so hilarious I had a good laugh reading this book. I can definitely see that this will be well loved by kids because it's essentially their stack of jokes that they can easily learn.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. Many of the jokes and riddles are so very appropriate for Middle School kids especially. I remembered some of them; others made me laugh out loud. Some were corny but they all can't be great jokes and riddles. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who has Middle School kids.

A Barrel of Good Clean Jokes for Kids is filled with funny jokes that can even make an adult chuckle. I was pleased to read jokes I have never heard before, as many joke books repeat a lot of the same jokes and puns. This book has a lot of jokes, so I truly believe there is a little bit of something to get a chuckle out of everyone..

Sorry, I wasn't very impressed with this joke book for kids. There are no illustrations and it's just pages and pages of jokes broken up by category like elephants and bible jokes. Most of them are not very funny, and some will not make sense to kids because they're dated or obscure. I wouldn't pay a lot for this one. My youngest son loves jokes but I didn't bother showing it to him or lending him my copy because I don't think he'd think much of it.

Example jokes:
Who was the straightest man in the bible? Joseph. Pharaoh made a ruler out of him.
What's the best name for the wife of a civil engineer? Bridget
Mommy: Did you push your little sister down the stairs? Bobby: I only pushed her down one step. She fell the rest of the way.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for the purpose of review.

My son enjoyed these jokes, definitely came in useful and made us laugh a lot. Would recommend for children, my son is 9 and found them funny but the odd one I had to explain

The jokes are clean, but most are a little lame even for children. I find a few to be very funny, but this is, of course, individual. An advantage with these jokes is the understanding of spelling. What I miss are some relevant illustrations to break things up a little.

Will published and link a formal review online on August.

Been a lot of fun so far. Got it to read with my grandson who lives in another state via FaceTime; but my preteen granddaughter has also taken an interest. It's been nice to spend quality time with them this way, and we've all enjoyed the jokes. Win-Win.
