I am just so in love with this series and this family. Jackson is a great guy, ( has some great dialogue / thoughts) has a few issues with his father but overall a well adjusted person; Molly is a very likeable character enduring the most stressful event in her life thus far. When she invites herself along on his vacation in an effort to help heal, unexpected feelings stir and the outcome is just magical. The author also deals with a very tough medical issue in a very sensitive and realistic way (something we have experience in our family).

I have to admit, I love Kelly Jamieson's hockey books, but I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a lot of hockey in this one! It does take place in the off-season and deals more with Jackson and contract stuff so I kind of understood it. I still liked this one a lot and it was a great addition to the Wynn Hockey series.

I think you can read this as a standalone, but I think having read the other books a lot of the references make more sense and get more of a feel for the family stuff. I did love Jackson trying to explain his insane family to Molly. She seemed so amused by it all. I also like that we got more about his dad. I was kinda wondering if he was gonna get his own book. Look, I really want some older coach hockey books.

This book could have gotten really messy with Jackson still having to play with Molly's ex, but I did like that there was a maturity there. I felt so bad for Molly in the beginning of this book! I did love that her relationship with Jackson started strictly as friends and there was a line neither of them crossed. I loved that they were so into trivia. I suck at trivia, but it was amusing to see them take everyone down and have that connection.

I'm not sure if there are going to be any more books in this series, I think there are a couple Wynns Kelly could write about. I would 100% read them.

*I received a review copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jackson does not want to be at this wedding but he goes anyway. His teammate Steve is marrying his trivia partner Molly Flynn, they also like taking shots of tequila. Then as the wedding starts Molly reads what someone sent her which had to be the person that has been with Steve for, I don’t know how long, needless to say, no wedding. The commotion has died down somewhat and Jackson checks in on his friend. They are now leaving the hotel through the kitchen and take a cab to his apartment.
In the morning she has really committed to going to California with him and buys a ticket after a stop at target they are on the plane. Finding out that there are no rooms left at the resort she is staying with him. She also goes with him one night to his family dinner which she finds out a lot but they all like her.
When he does not bring her the next time, he is in trouble so she comes with him and they go swimming only for her to get stuck in the bathroom a very funny scene. You find out more about his grandfather, she also gets him to talk to his father which actually is a good thing and he is better for it. She listens when he is having contract problems, so it is only natural for him to invite her to go to Canada with him which she agrees.
It is here that everything that they have been feeling for each other is finally shared and shared for weeks. There is a lot that goes on so you need to read it. When she leaves though, he is a mess. He is that way when he gets back to Chicago as well. When she goes to his apartment to try to get him to talk nothing. He will come around and that part and the end of the book when you find out about some of the other couples is really good. A very good story that had me from the opening to the end I could not put it down.

This is a fun sweet romance that actually draws you in from the first page and doesn't let go until you turn the last page Not only is it a story about Jax and Molly but also about Jax's entire family and boy are there some classics there.

Jax never saw Molly coming he is the kind of gut\y that doesn't believe in commitment but when Molly the bride at his best friend Steves wedding walks out after finding that he cheated on her she needs somewhere to hide tuill the uproar dies down. Jax is heading back to his home town for a visit because his grandfather is suffering from Alzheimer and he wants to visit so he takes her with him This starts a whole lot of emotion that he isn't really ready for and he learns that where Molly is concerned he just can't say no.

This is just a great fun read

I have loved every book in this series from start to finish but this one is by far my favorite. There was just something about Jax and Molly. Separately they were great people. Jax was hard worker, kind and kept what he was feeling close. Molly was super sweet, kind but she too also held a part of herself back. Together these two were unstoppable. While reading this book I could actually feel the emotion coming off the pages when these two were together. For me they just did not connect on a heat level but it was like their souls were also connected. They brought out the best in each other when they were together. Even though they didn’t realize it when they were together in a group their happiness was contagious. They grew together and individually. They were soul mates. I highly would recommend you pick up this book and read their story because it will take you on an incredible journey. It will show you so many things and for me it also helped me understand some things too. Pick it up because honestly you will not be disappointed. Thanks Net Galley. Jackson Wynn + Molly Flynn = a Flynn-Wynn
Find out your Fiancé is a cheating jerk the night before your wedding justifies a huge dramatic scene at the wedding and a runaway bride. Not sure the best choice is to run away with your former fiancé’s teammate, but that is just what Molly Flynn does!
Kelly Jamieson has magic in her stories. I am always so impressed how she comes up with a scenario and you aren’t sure you are going to find it believable but by the end you are completely rooting for the couple. I wasn’t sure that I would love this story or how these two could possibly find love when it starts out with one of them getting married. While I love the Wynn family series it was so nice to see a glimpse of the Chicago Aces, some of those stories are my complete favorite hockey romances. Even though there isn’t any interaction but to just read the name Army or Duper made my heart happy.
Jax is super closed of strong silent type of hero. Molly is completely a touchy feely, be in touch with your heart but not over the top. I really liked these two together. They challenged each other and force them to see the world differently. I like the Jax had a chance to see his family with a more mature and open heart. Friends to lovers can sometimes be a hard trope to pull off and make it believable but Jamieson makes it believable and you are rooting for them 100%!
This was a 4.5/5 star read for me. I loved the very end, but I had a little issue with how it came about. But over all you should absolutely read this!

I enjoyed this book because it didn't focus as much on the Wynn family. Even the heroine commented on how confusing and crazy the family is. I liked how slowly the relationship built. The hero did seem a bit immature but I did like the heroine. It was an enjoyable summer read.

Jax is a big ole softie where his woman is concerned, "I can’t say no to her, godda*mit. I never can. I hope she doesn’t realize this, or I’m effed. “Sure. Why not.” I loved Jax's grandpa, "I’m honestly speechless at this. My eyes flick over to Molly who also appears dumbstruck. “And look at you.” He gestures to Molly. “Of course Jackson is attracted to you.” I liked this book, I liked Jax.

This continues Jamieson’s series about a hockey-playing family, the Wynns. I’ve read those books and the other books about the Chicago Aces hockey team, but I honestly can’t remember much from any of them. That’s not a barrier to enjoying this novel, but it is a sign that these romances are like candy - they’re enjoyable while you’re reading them, but they don’t stick with you.

I liked these characters. The novel starts off with the typical plotline of the heroine finding out that her fiance has been cheating on her. Molly gets a great revenge on him, but then she wants to get out of Chicago and asks her friend, Jax Wynn, to take her with him when he travels to California to visit his family.

Molly and Jax make a cute couple. They seem to have become great friends by playing trivia together. I’m a big pub trivia fan so I liked that. It was not clear how this third-grade teacher met first her fiance, a teammate of Jax’s and got to be a trivia partner for Jax.

I liked that the novel showed how Jax and Molly are friends and have so much in common before they actually sleep together. The novel portrays a real relationship instead of one just built on sexual attraction.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

I loved this book- I'm always a fan of friends to lovers and this one was done really well. You could see the friendship building into a stronger romantic relationship. Jax Wynn is part of the legendary hockey family and he's a Chicago Ace. The story starts with him attending a wedding between his teammate Steve and Steve's fiance Molly. Molly, during the ceremony, reveals that Steve has been cheating on her and she calls off the wedding and asks Jax, who is her friend, to help her escape the madness. I loved that he played the hero but then, also just played a friend who was there for a hurting woman. I have to admit that the timeline was a little quick for me in terms of how their relationship progressed but the story was so well written that it didn't take enjoyment out of the overall story. I read all the other books in the series (there is an ongoing background story about family drama) but this is overall a standalone story. Thanks to NetGalley for providing an early copy for me to read.

Not knowing that Game Changer was part of the Wynn Hockey Series, it didn't bother me at all. The story is sweet and funny and although the other Wynn family members where unknown to me, it is easy to follow. Jackson is keeping his distance from his crazy Wynn family, but his grandfather's alzheimer's forces him to go back home to see if he can help his grandfather settle. But en route, he has to stop at the wedding of one of his teammates. Although Jackson isn't close to Steve, his hockey teammate, he has become good friends with his fiancee Molly. They even teamed up on some pubquiz nights, because Steve wasn't into quizzes at all.
What Jackson didn't expect, was Molly walking out of the wedding, because she found out that Steve cheated on her. And now she begs him to take her away until everything cools down.
So, with Molly in tow, Jackson heads to California, to his family. What he didn't count on, was Molly to become fast friends with his grandfather and his family. But the bro-code forbids him to go after Molly.
Confused and scared, both don't know what to do? But what if they realize this event could be a game changer for both of them? Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

From the very beginning, Jax and Molly’s story is a wild rollercoaster. Molly needs to get away and Jax is there to help. These friends set off to help Molly heal her broken heart. Is Jax the perfect rebound for Molly? Are they really just friends? Or could this be the great love neither one of them knows they’re capable of?
I was drawn in form the very beginning and dint want to stop. 5 stars!

This was my first book in the series and while I would have liked to have had a better initial understanding of the Wynn family dynamics I still really enjoyed this book. Molly and Jax had great chemistry and I liked how they didn’t rush from friends to lovers. I loved that although Molly was initially Jax’s teammate’s fiancé they were still the kind of friends where one of them would help the other get out of dodge after a wedding that doesn’t happen. Their story is beautifully paced but my favorite thing about this book is the character development especially when it comes to Jax. He grows so much over the course of this book and we see it happen on the page.

I've loved the Wynn Family series. I was curious how they were going to tie Jax's story in. With him living across the country and playing for a different team. I thought it was Blended well. Almost made it like a vacation romance instead of a sports romance story. Molly seems to fit right in with both sides of his family. Game Changer is a great friends to lovers story.

4 and a bit stars

I totally enjoyed it, I really liked Jax. He’s my kind of cute hero! There was plenty of drama but none of it felt false. The Wynn family are good fun and the interactions will make you smile.
a feel good read, easy to read and lots of likeable characters.

I loved Jax and Molly together! From the start of the book - you could see that maybe Molly and Jax had more of a connection all along than she ever did with her fiance (Mr. I thought fidelity was flexible). Jax is 100% right that sometimes things that feel bad at a specific point in time turn out to be the best thing to ever happen to us.

Jax comes with a big dramatic family. The poor guy really has a lot of family drama to deal with - and as a result, I think, he's really repressed his emotions and distanced himself from his family. I think for him, the drama was just to much. He also - by not talking about things - really held on to anger and interpretations that weren't precisely true.

Molly is a lot more well-adjusted, but very publicly broke things off with her fiance at the altar after finding out he was cheating on her. Molly needs an escape after that and pulls a runaway bride with Jax for the summer.

Molly and Jax are clearly perfect for each other - and everyone except for them realizes it. Molly feels like it is too soon and that she shouldn't be ready for this. Jax doesn't "believe" in love and relationships. But love finds a way.

Overall - watching them fall in love and overcome their obstacles was really wonderful. Each step in the sotry was necessary to get them to the end.

This book also, felt like a conclusion to the Wynn family saga (at least for now). There are still a lot of stories untold - but it goes further down the line towards a happily ever after than any of the other books in this series have. That being said, I wouldn't mind a few more stories from this fantastically dysfunctional family!

Loved it!

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

We continue with the Wynn family drama, except this book is a little bit lighter on the drama and a little more of an eye opening and a reminder to not let things pass you by. I had a quick connection with the characters and loved seeing all the others a little too.

Molly finds herself walking out of her wedding after sharing her fiancé's secrets with the who invited group. She is looking to get away while she can, to let the aftermath blow over. Needing some time to come to terms with this change in her life path. Asking her friend Jax to get her out of there.

Jax has always been a no marriage and commitment kind of guy. Watching first his Grandfather and then his parents marriage fall apart, who could blame him. Oh he believed that for some it worked but just figured it wasn't in his cards. He is a gentleman and an overall nice guy though, so he couldn't leave that wedding without first making sure his trivia night buddy was ok. Surprised but happy to help when she asks him to help her get out of that church.

Molly and Jax certainly didn't expect anything more than one friend helping out another when they started off on this journey. Is it possible to be heart broken and fall in love so quickly? Could it be that Jax was wrong all this time? Will they open their hearts to a possible love or have the hurts of the past closed them off for good?
