This is a short coffee table book that probably only works as a gag gift. A handful of slogans, plus a few cute journaling pages at the end.

Not totally sure who this book is for. Anyone that's a bit of a VSCO girl themselves would probably be vaguely insulted, but there's nothing in here that will be actually funny to someone that wants to mock them..

I would have rated it higher if the book had original art and lettering, but most of the pages are a stock font over a patterned background. I could have done this, and I have no design skills. The $11 price point doesn't make sense to me, even if this is paperback.

I wanted to read this book because I genuinely enjoy all of the VSCO girl jokes and memes. This is a cute, short book with funny VSCO girl cliches put into generic phrases. I’m not sure if I read the description wrong or if I just didn’t pay attention, but I thought it was going to be more like short paragraphs with life lessons based on VSCO girl jokes and stereotypes. I expected it to be really silly of course, but I guess I didn’t think it was going to be JUST short quotes.

The art is super cute and this would be a wonderful gift for all of the meme-lovers out there! It’s hard to rate since it’s obviously meant to be funny and a joke. I give it a 3/5 stars, and I’m honestly debating getting this for a friend when it comes out in August!

I enjoyed this book, but I hope it was not making fun of VSCO Girl mentality.
I genuinely like the philosophy of people young and old caring about animals and the environment instead of pursuing selfish interests.
I think the book could have expanded on this more and felt the narrative was cute and light but very repetitive - I mean, I love turtles and don't use plastic straws, but how many times do you need to be reminded about them in one short book?
Or maybe the joke is on me and this was supposed to be funny?

My daughters are obsessed with the VSCO trend and they absolutely loved this book.

The illustrations were cute, I loved the detail.

I definitely think this will be way better as a print book. I will consider purchasing it when it comes out.

I don’t completely know what exactly a VSCO girl is (does anyone tho?) but I did enjoy this little book! The quotes were cute and I love that there are note pages at the back.

I solely chose to read this book for the chuckles. Last year when the 'VSCO girl' trend took over the world it was hard not to also fall into the trend a little myself. I'm a sucker for a cute scrunchie and some chapstick ok?? This book has no real substance and for me was just purely for funsies. It's so lighthearted and cute and represents your typical VSCO girl. I don't think you're really supposed to take it all that seriously. But all jokes aside the colors and art in this were really fun. It's filled with little quotes and things that you would relate to a VSCO girl...it was nothing deep or philosophical. Also the journal pages in the back were a cute touch. It's a fun and super quick read.
