All the Bromance Bookclub favorites are back for the third book in the series, and this story is as fun, steamy, and sweet as ever. In the books before, we first heard from the perspectives of Gavin and Thea, and then Mack and Liv, and now it’s hipster tech nerd Noah and cute cat cafe owner Alexis’s turn to lead the story.
This novel has a bit of everything you could ask for in a rom com: manly men doing dance choreography, manly men planning a wedding, manly men ending toxic masculinity one romance novel at a time...you get the point.
What’s not to love?!
The book also includes deeper aspects such as the loss of a parent, family issues, and the uncertainty of new love. I teared up a few times while reading this. The ray of light to break up the heavy emotions and sexy romance was Beefcake 😳 - Alexis’s huge grumpy cat who has it out for Noah. He was the perfect addition to the story. I love that huge cat beast as equally as I love The Russian.
I also really appreciate that each book of this series focuses on a different romance trope, whether it’s second chance romance, enemies to lovers, or in this case, friends to lovers. I laughed, I swooned, and I felt really satisfied by the entire story.
This was exactly the read I needed right now. It made me so happy.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is by far my favorite book in the Bromance Book Club series. Noah and Alexis are the shining stars of these books (in my opinion) and their friends-to-lovers romance was nothing short of perfection.
Everything about this book works: the characters, the plot, the chemistry, the themes. Lyssa Kay Adams has created such a well-rounded novel. It’s obviously written as a rom-com, but the book also delves into some heavier topics as well. The emotions felt by both Noah and Alexis as they dealt with their individual griefs and heartaches were palpable. It was hard not to get swept up in the emotions as well as a reader. And it was amazing to see Alexis and Noah support each other through thick and thin, and how that support was crucial to their relationship.
I’m a huge sucker for friends-to-lovers, and I had actually forgotten Crazy Stupid Bromance was centered around this trope until I got started reading. Writing this trope can be a delicate balance of showcasing the angst and chemistry, while not forcing the characters together too soon and Lyssa Kay Adams nails it in Crazy Stupid Bromance. Alexis and Noah work so well as best friends that it was even more satisfying to see them finally admit their feelings for each other.
It’s no secret that I really love these books. Crazy Stupid Bromance was the perfect addition to the Bromance Book Club series and I knew right away that it would be my favorite of the books so far. If you’re a fan of friends-to-lovers, and an emotional, sweet, steamy read–look no further.

Ever since Noah and the Bromance bros helped Alexis and her friends reveal celebrity chef Royce's harassment, they have been best friends. But everyone can tell they both want more than that - everyone except them, of course. Now Alexis is facing a new emotional challenge when she finds out that her previously unknown father actually only lives two hours away from her and he's dying - unless Alexis is willing to donate a kidney to him. When dealing with this brings her feelings for Noah to the surface, he doesn't know whether they ought to risk their friendship.
This might be my favorite of the series so far. Noah and Alexis are both such lovable characters, and their friendship is precious, even before they begin to move forward with their relationship. They nerd out together, know each other's food cravings, and can simply sit together in silence when need be.
I was worried about the friends-to-lovers idea at first when it seemed that the big obstacle to their relationship was that they were too afraid to share their feelings, especially since clearly they were perfect together. The author takes it deeper though when Alexis's family situation makes them face the effects their family losses have had on them. They are forced to confront the fear, anger, and insecurities they've been hiding since they've experienced their grief. Like any emotional journey, it had its ups and downs, but it went in a really satisfying direction by the end. Looking forward to Book 4!

This book/series is so fun, it, had me laughing out loud one moment and tearing up another moment. The characters are a delight & I love how they use romance novels & each other to express their feelings. This book dealt with multiple tough subjects in a thoughtful & respectful way. Also, the cat was hilarious. Can’t wait for the next one (the Russian)!

My thanks to NetGalley for making an eARC copy of this book available to me.
So, I really liked the cat in this book. I also (mostly) liked the use of the friends-to-lovers trope. And it was definitely fun watching the group of guys working on the wedding preparations throughout the book.
However... I disliked the amount a male toxic behavior in so many of the side characters. I also had problems with the behavior (and duplicitousness) of the young female side character who kept pushing forward with her own agenda without ever considering how it would adversely affect Alexis.

Love The Bromance Book Club books and this one did not disappoint! It tackles a friends-to-lovers love story but also some messy family relationships that added another layer. This was my second favorite in the series, after the first Bromance Book Club. This is a fun series full of quick reads that also have depth and a little steam. You also don’t need to read them in order, this book could stand alone, but it’s fun to have the context from the first two since the characters reappear. Excited for the Russian’s story next!

I LOVE this series! It's so cute and I love the guys. While Alexis and Noah aren't my favorite couple I did grow to love them. I would've liked more background on both Alexis' life with her mother and Noah's "shady" past. I can't wait for "The Russian" to tell his story.

This was exactly what I needed to read after some heavier books. Alexis was sweet and I loved the family storyline and Noah's backstory. I wished more of the secondary characters were around, because I loved the scenes they were in! The spa scene had me cracking up! This series is an auto-read for me.

I adore this series to pieces! Lyssa Kay Adams has delivered books that I wouldn't have thought I would love, and made me enjoy them more than (almost) any other book I've read. So would I recommend them? Yes. Also important to note, I think as this series progresses the books get better and better. While I loved all the novels before this one, Crazy Stupid Bromance just may be my favorite!

Crazy Stupid Bromance by @lyssakayadams ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Thank you so much to @berkleypub for gifting me a free copy! #berkleyig @bekleypub #partner
This is my favorite book from the series! It just keeps getting better. This was the perfect mix of real life drama and falling in love. I love when a cute chick lit can also serve you up a few life lessons and this book definitely had plenty. I like that it is not that steamy of a read because their relationship had such a hard beginning and started on such a serious matter, I don’t think a ton of steam would’ve worked here. I love the parts of the story where the men have to do women womanly things and they can’t handle it it’s hilarious. (EX: the massage scene 🤣) I hope book number four is about Colton because I could use a rockstar love story!!!
Overall,
this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! This is a must read romance! Coming to you October 27!!!! #blcvipbookclub

A wonderful friends to lovers book! I love this cute little nerdy romance. Noah starts as a friend but becomes oh so much more!! It touches on feminism and the romance book genre in general. The relationship is adorable, funny, real and heart warming!!! and of course, the Bromance Book Club comes to the rescue and helps with Love...I adore this entire series and each of the characters...they all have a piece of my heart.

I don’t know how she’s doing it, but Adams is somehow making each book in this series even better than the last.
Each book has an entirely different story to tell and Adams does it in a very cohesive way. You know you’re still with the same group of friends, but each character reads differently and each book has it’s own tone and subject matter.
I probably cried the most and the hardest reading this book than the last two. There is a grief subplot that really hits you in the feels in the last few chapters. And I want to take a moment to thank Adams for handling such a delicate topic in such a meaningful way.
This series is absolutely officially a favourite of mine and I’m thrilled we’re getting The Russian’s story next.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third novel in the Bromance Book Club series by Lyssa Kay Adams, and it centers around best friends Alexis Carlisle and Noah Logan (who we met in Undercover Bromance). Alexis is the owner of the cat cafe ToeBeans, which has also become a safe space for survivors of sexual harassment after she came forward as a victim of a celebrity chef in the last book. Noah is her best friend, a former hacktivist turned computer security expert and the person she seeks support from when a young woman turns up at her cafe claiming to be her sister. As they team up to figure out the truth about their situation, it's getting harder for them both to hide the feelings they have for each other (even though they're determined to do so in order not to ruin their friendship). Cue the book club (and their other friends) getting themselves involved, and you've got a good idea of the plot for this book! Honestly, Crazy Stupid Bromance was a good time. I flew through the story, despite the fact that friends to lovers isn't always my particular cup of tea in terms of romance tropes. Adams just has a gift for writing great stories with excellent romantic banter, hilarious moments (involving the couple together or individually), and fun bits with the supporting cast (so here for the way the book club gets themselves entangled in this tale. It was great to see Alexis and Noah work out their struggles individually and as a couple, and I was obviously rooting for them to find their happiness together. However, I didn't find the familial aspect for Alexis' story particularly compelling, nor did I care much for the drama that ensues towards the end. But even though this one wasn't perfect, it was still a fun addition to the series for sure.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is an adult romantic comedy by Lyssa Kay Adams. It is the third book in the Bromance Book club series, but it can be read as a complete standalone novel. Which is what I did. I have not read book one yet, but after how much I enjoyed Undercover Bromance, I knew I had to read all of the books in the series. And I was right, I really enjoyed Crazy Stupid Bromance. It is a cute and fun read, perfect for a feel good romcom. Plus, this book features my favorite hacker, Noah!
In Crazy Stupid Bromance we meet our two main characters, Alexis and Noah. This is a friendzone romance that I completely adored. I thought it was just as witty as the last book, and of course features all the feel good moments of a great friend group...a great bromance you might say. I liked both Alexis and Noah, but Noah stole the show in my opinion. He is so wonderful, and it was clear as day that he has always had feelings for Alexis, but I just loved watching them together. He is so supportive and wonderful! Plus, it doesn't hurt his hotness factor that he is a hacker. Alexis is great as well, and I liked her best when she was just being herself with Noah, but I will admit that she did frustrate me at times. I wanted to shake her with some of the choices she made throughout the book, but overall everything worked out.
I liked the romance aspects of the story a lot more than the side plot that brought Alexis and Noah together. Alexis gets involved with some estranged family member that need an organ donation, which was an interesting storyline. But my favorite part of the book, other than the romance is watching the bromance book club come together for meetings and to support each other. These guys make me laugh so much, and I love all of their interactions. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a story for The Russian. (maybe then we can start referring to him by his actual name?) I hope that is the next book up, because I love him to pieces.
Overall, if you are a fan of witty romantic comedies with a great cast of characters, Crazy Stupid Bromance and the Bromance Book Club series are the perfect feel good reads.

I needed an easy and breezy read after a full family weekend, and this one did the trick! A quick, light, predictable, enjoyable romance read (#3 in the series! although it could stand alone, you just wouldn’t catch the references to the other books’ characters). It was just the kind of fun fluff I (not so secretly) love.

The Bromance Book Club series continues to make me giddy. In Crazy Stupid Bromance, we come back to Alexis, whom we met and immediately loved in Undercover Bromance. I adore Alexis and her kindness, her passion for helping others, and, of course, her love for her cat! Her friendship with Noah was the perfect start to a friends-to-lovers rom com. They understand each other so much, and seeing them navigate their feelings for each other was utterly delightful. As in the previous two books in this series, we learn more and more about the other members of the Bromance Book Club, and I became even more enamored with them! I am so excited who gets their own story next. Thank you so much to Netgalley and Berkley for the chance to early review!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third installment to the Bromance Bookclub series, and it follows two best friends, Alexis and Noah, as they realize they might be ready for more than just friendship.
Alexis is coming down from a whirlwind year after coming forward with her sexual harassment story against a celebrity chef, only to have a woman come out of the blue saying their sisters and their dad (a man Alexis has never known) is dying and needs a kidney.
Meanwhile, Noah has been in love with Alexis forever and doesn’t know if he’ll ever be ready to tell Alexis how he feels… but never fear The Bromance Book Club is here
Y’all!! This is officially one of my favorite romance series of all time!! Where do I even start?! Okay, first of all Alexis and Noah are both huge dorks, and I love them more than anything. Their friendship was so stinking cute! And the chemistry between these two was 🔥
As cute and steamy as this was when I tell y’all this book was HILARIOUS I’m not playing around! The banter between the men in this Bromance Bookclub… I have no words for it. It’s tough for a book to actually make me laugh, but this book managed the impossible had me cackling like a madman!
That being said, there were some pretty heavy moments in the book, given that a lot of the plot revolves around Alexis meeting the man that abandoned her and her mom.
But what I love most of all is that Lyssa Kay Adams has no time for toxic leading men. I think we can all agree that having men believe they have to be these hyper-masculine alpha males is a pretty toxic social construct, and the way Lisa Kay Adams uses her leading men to completely shatter that notion is just *chefs kiss*
I don’t know how Lyssa Kay Adams keeps writing these sweet, funny, steamy books but pleeeeeease keep ‘em coming!
This book comes out on October 27th! Thank you to @ and @ for sending this ARC my way!

Well this was an absolute DELIGHT to read! I was already loving the series but this is definitely my favorite yet, and I breezed through it in a day! Crazy Stupid Bromance is a friends to lovers story that (unsurprisingly) includes some great meta commentary on the romance genre, is unabashedly feminist, and tackles toxic masculinity and unaddressed anger. It's also an interesting blend of laugh-out-loud funny with adorable banter, plus a meaty look working through conflict and personal trauma to make a relationship work.
This one follows computer genius Noah and his best friend Alexis who runs a cat cafe and works with victims of sexual violence. There is a clear attraction, but neither of them is willing to risk their friendship to try for more. At first that is. I just thoroughly enjoyed this and became really invested in the story of the two characters. They're both dealing with family issues as well, but we see how that informs the ways they relate to each other also, in both good and bad ways. AND the steamy scenes in this book were doing so much emotional and relational work for the character development! It's not super often that I feel emotionally invested in how a sex scene is bringing a couple together and creating true intimacy beyond just the physical, but I absolutely felt that here. Which to me is a testament to the skill with which the author wrote in emotional beats. So basically I'm a fan and absolutely loved this book! I received an advance copy of this book for review via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I totally get why this series is popular and I love that Adams flips toxic masculinity on its head, but I do not think this series is for me. To note, I have not read book two in the series, so maybe that would've helped? I do adore the cover and low key still want to read book 4 bc of the Russian, but think it will let me down so!!!
I did enjoy this book enough, but I did not care enough to get invested in the story.
It also was pretty emotional and discusses some darker/emotional themes which were just a bit much for me since I thought I was getting a light rom-com and it was pretty emotional. Also, I am not a fan of pining and maybe friends to lovers???
TW: organ donation, loss of parents (off page, but discussed), sexual assault (prior to novel, but discussed in detail)

TW/CW: grief, death of a parent via cancer, death of a parent via the military, discussion of past sexual assault, toxic masculinity
Review:
Bromance Book Club - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Undercover Bromance - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
HUGE THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY AND BERKLEY ROMANCE FOR PROVIDING ME WITH AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!
It's no secret that the Bromance Book Club series is one of my all-time favorites. This series has tackled so many important topics, while still managing to be light-hearted and assessable. Crazy Stupid Bromance follows Noah and Alexis, eighteen-month after the events of Undercover Bromance, and reminds me why I love the friends to lovers trope so much.
"I try to assume the best in people until they give me a reason not to."
–>plot<–
This book has a couple of underlying plot threads but mostly focuses on family and healing. Noah and Alexis grew close after the events of Undercover Bromance, and are now best friends. One of the things they realized they both have in common is losing a parent. Alexis's mom passed away due to cancer a few years before the start of the book and Noah's father was killed when serving in the military when Noah was in his teens.
Grief is also a huge part of this book. Noah and Alexis both have to come to terms with the fact they haven't fully processed these deaths and the repercussions this lack of healing has resulted in. As someone who just passed the two-year anniversary of a difficult death, I really resonated with this conversation of grief. I definitely resonated with Alexis when she talked about avoiding the hard emotions in lieu of the positive ones and how this has halted the healing process.
"There was no trauma competition in this room."
This also leads to the other large theme of this book - healing. Alexis is healing from her sexual assault and her café is a place for other victim-survivors to go to in order to start their healing process. Noah and Alexis are also forced to deal with their unresolved grief and need to decide if they're going to take the difficult steps to complete the healing process.
There was also a really interesting conversation about family and found family in this book. Alexis saying "we're related, that doesn't make us family" was such a powerful statement. Too often you have the notion of blood resulting in obligatory behaviors and you have people dismissing the value of close family members with absolutely no blood relations.
This book did a fantastic job of balancing these serious and at times heartbreaking moments with other light-hearted moments in the book. Like the other books in this series, I found myself laughing out loud following the antics of these guys. I also enjoyed the nods to Alexis having to deal with a literal Karen, though Karen was the actual worst.
A main theme of these books is addressing and counteracting toxic masculinity and I feel like this book did the best job of not feeling preachy, but also showing that guys who know what not to do still have room to learn what to do.
"But I promise you -- and this is a promise I won't break -- that a day will come when you feel at peace again.
Final Thoughts:
This series is one where I will find myself reading every installment, regardless of who we're following. I absolutely adore this series and what it's trying to do. I love that this series will address series topics while remaining light-hearted. Noah and Alexis both have difficult backgrounds and a lot of room to heal, but they're able to remind readers that some of the hardest things to heal from are also the most important. I feel the need to reiterate, this one has definitely been my favorite so far and I hope it's one you choose to pick up later this month.
