How good is the third book in Lyssa Kay Adams' Bromance Book Club series? Well, I stayed up until 2:30am reading it last night despite the fact that I have to write three different articles for work today and I DON'T EVEN CARE. I'D DO IT AGAIN. WHEN I STAN, I STAN HARD.

Admittedly I was a tad nervous going into this book because we knew only cursory things about both Alexis and Noah from the previous novels, which can be both a blessing and a curse. On top of that, friends-to-lovers stories can be very hit or miss for me; often I don't believe the couple's chemistry, or an author dives into the romance too quickly and the friendship doesn't seem realistic enough.

Luckily, if I could describe one word for Crazy Stupid Bromance, it would be grounded. Adams knew her all of her characters so well that they seemed natural from the get-go. The book had the perfect amount of serious topics in the plot while still unpacking every character's background. She showed the best of the friends-to-lovers trope and why so many people adore it. And as always, the feminist commentary from the Bromance Book Clubs dudes was ON POINT.

To be honest, while I really enjoyed Undercover Bromance, I loved this one even more. And for all the folks who want authors to bring the steam...whew, you're in for some hot shit.

Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for making a gal's dreams come true with this ARC.

A sweet friends-to-lovers story, set in the sunny California world of Adams's Bromance Book Club series. Alexis and Noah have been friends for almost two years. They spend their free time together, they text constantly, they have inside jokes--but they're just friends. Except, of course, each has been pining for the other, but they're both afraid to let a potential romance get in the way of a solid friendship. Enter the Bromance Book Club, a group of men who read romance novels as a way to improve the relationships in their life. The guys convince Noah to read a book of their choosing, as a way to help him figure out where he stands with Alexis, and what he wants.

This was an entertaining read, with pretty low stakes and a high quirk factor. As with previous books in this series, I find it a little jarring when the men espouse feminist ideology in a way that feels like the author sermonizing. But it's only a small part of the story. I look forward to the next book (I think it's the Russian's turn!).

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review.

I am so in love with this book!! With each new Bromance Book Club installment, I fall more in love with the beautiful characters and world that Adams has crafted. This was a tender, emotional, funny, and hopeful friends-to-lovers romance and a delight from start to finish. I loved Noah and Alexis and the personal journeys each went on alongside their love story. Ugh, I already want to read it again, it was so perfect. Can’t wait for more in this amazing series!

Lexa and Noah’s book took me on an emotional rollercoaster of awesomeness. Serious issues were dealt with thoughtfully. Personal issues had me rooting for both of them, and the guys of the book club were amazing as always! Just loved it!
