There are some continuity issues with this draft that I hope are resolved in the final edits, such as Alexis taking off her apron after her office room conversation with Candi. Prior to that, Alexis was attending a yoga session so she wouldn't have been wearing an apron. I appreciate the return to incorporating scenes from the romance novel Noah is reading and the main story line. There was a lot of that in the first book but was sorely missed in the second. The Russian continues to be my favorite character and I'm hoping with the foreshadowing at Mack's wedding, we'll finally see him as the main character in the next novel. While the first book in the series knocked it out of the park, the other books in this series are still enjoyable reads. It's nice to revisit the characters and their fun banter.

This is such a fantastic series. It’s such an original idea and I always enjoy the plot and romance. I also like trying to take a stab at who the next book will be about. Very enjoyable!

A sweet contemporary romance following a new addition to the Bromance Book Club, Noah Logan. Noah and Alexis Carlisle met in the process of exposing a celebrity chef who sexually harassed his employees and became fast friends. When Alexis gets an unexpected visitor and surprise at her cat cafe, she turns to Noah to help her figure out how to handle it all. Noah wants what is best for Alexis, but he also wants her for himself. With the help of his buddies in the Bromance Book Club, Noah learns to understand Alexis; feelings, as well as his own.

In the genre of contemporary romance, there are bountiful tropes and stereotypes, a big part of the appeal in my opinion! This series, however, puts the male spin on it by having the man be the one who doing the leg work and emotional analysis. I have enjoyed this series a lot, and this addition did not disappoint. It's very satisfying to read a fun novel like this with a balance of emotion from both the male and female characters.

Okay, this book was, by far, the best book in this series *so far*. And I say so far, because I REALLY, really hope there's more to this series! I gave Lyssa Kay Adams a chance with Bromance Book Club #1, when I had never even heard of her before, and she definitely did not disappoint and rapidly entered my top 5 favorite authors!

Crazy Stupid Bromance mixes just enough of everything you could think of - book within a book, friends to lovers, a male book club, a strong woman owning her own business, a hacktivist, secrets, lies, cats, desserts, vegetarians, sexual harassment, recovery, sports, tears, and lots and lots of laughs. So, in a nutshell - the whole nine yards. Everything you could ever want in a book.

If you haven't read the first two in this series, DEFINITELY DO, because you will want to read this!

Another fun, sexy installment in the Bromance Book Club series. I literally LOLed during Noah and Beefcake's violent interactions and the scene with the guys going for their first massage....could NOT STOP LAUGHING.

This is the third Bromance Book Club book. I've now read all three and the heart of them remains intact. This book was funny and sweet. Noah and Alexis are individuals you root for and enjoy hoping they will finally get together. The long lost father storyline was fine. The complaining neighbor to the cafe storyline seemed thrown in for no reason.

Overall a very fun read.

Loved this one! It’s maybe my favorite so far of the series? Not only was I excited to learn more about these characters who I’ve been reading about in the last two books, their storylines ended up being really emotional and beautiful. I was not expecting to cry!!

Just finished reading an e-ARC of Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams. I love the Bromance Book Club series & this installment did not disappoint! Reading about Noah working through issues with his Dad? I cried. I hope we get another installment with the Russian as our hero. Pick this book up in October! #crazystupidbromance #NetGalley

Lyssa Kay Adams does it again! I didn't think I was a fan of the "best friends to more" trope, but I was wrong! I loved the romance between Noah and Alexis, but what I really loved ( and the same can be said about all the books in this series) was the cast of side characters. I don't think I can remember another series of books in which I loved the secondary characters as much as I do with the Bromance series. I'm rooting for the Russian to be the next leading man! :)

REVIEW | Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams

Alexis, coffee shop owner and Noah, a hacktivist have always been friends. When Alexis has a chance to meet her biological father, she confides in Noah- who desperately wants to reveal his secret love for her- with the help of the bromance book club, of course.

I always thought I was all about enemies to lovers, but lately, I’m SO here for friends to lovers! I’m a massive fan of the Bromance series and thought this was such a great 3rd book! In fact, I think it’s my favourite of all 3😍

Things I loved:
💖I thought Adams portrayed Alexis’ experiences with sexual assault in a respectful, nuanced manner.

💖Beefcake the cat and his interactions with Noah had me cackling. If you loved the chicken in the last book, you’ll die for Beefcake.

💖The banter between the men is always 🙌🏼 I just loved the scenes of Mack being a groomzilla. Also, the feminist dialogue amongst the bro’s was on point in this book! So well done without coming across unnatural and unrealistic!!

💖The Moana scene. If you’ve read, you’ll know!!🤣

💖Alexis and Noah had lovely chemistry. Friends to lovers is always a bit tougher to establish tension and make the reader understand the shift in the relationship, but it was executed so well.

💖I NEED the Russian’s book right now 🙌🏼

All in all, this one was such a delight. It was witty, adorable, and laugh out loud funny! Highly recommend 👏🏼

Thank you kindly to Berkley, Netgalley, and Lyssa Kay Adams for access to this amazing ARC.

This was my first time reading Lyssa Kay Adams, and I wasn't disappointed.

Noah is in love with his best friend. He's trying his best to keep it hidden from Alexis and be a good friend, but their chemistry is ridiculous. It doesn't help that all of their friends (and family) keep asking when they're going to get together. However, Alexis' world has just been rocked (again): a woman shows up at her cat cafe and claims to be her sister. Even more alarming, their shared bio-dad needs a kidney and Alexis is the family's last hope.

This is a good rom-com book with familiar tropes (friends to lovers, hot nerd, etc), and a fun cast of characters. I'm definitely going to go back and read the first two in the series and I eagerly anticipate what I believe will be the next in the series: the Russian and his lady.

I am a big fan of the Bromance Book Club series and absolutely adored this third book. Friends to lovers is such a sweet trope and I knew I would love it, but I was blown away by just how amazing it was. These books just get better and better each time.

Noah and Alexis are best friends. She owns a cat cafe and he runs a computer security business. Both of them secretly want more than friendship, but they're terrified to make that step and ruin their friendship. Everything gets thrown for a loop when a customer reveals that she's Alexis's sister. While Noah tries to help her navigate this new development, he has no one how to take the step from friends to more. Cue the bromance book club: they step in to help Noah finally admit his feelings.
In the words of 'The Russian': "This is grand gesture! We always run for grand gesture!"

I cannot get over how much I love these books. I love the overall concept of a group of men deciding to read romance novels to improve their relationships, while tackling sexist stereotypes, and confronting their internalized misogyny and toxic masculinity. Just that alone is amazing. The support that these characters have for each other is beautiful. An ensemble cast is one of my favourite characteristics, as there is so much space for banter and chaos, but also space for a complex and full support system.
Noah and Alexis's friendship, even before they get together, is so strong and built on similar interests and a deep personal connection. Their humour is amazing and I love how they are constantly looking out for each other. Their support for each other is a given. The spark is there from the start and when they both finally realize that, it's amazing.
Also, I love that Noah and Alexis have to face some of their inner demons on their own. I think that's an important thing to demonstrate in romance novels. Having a relationship doesn't automatically erase all the bad things in your life, and the fact that they both had to confront their demons outside of the relationship was great.
I also adore Beefcake and his murderous ways.

Overall, this book was amazing. I laughed and I cried. It was a full emotional roller-coaster. I hope there are plans for more books in this series because I will read them forever.

SO amazing, I love this series so so much and this third installment definitely did not disappoint. Would highly recommend!

Let me say up front, I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh - none of those men are like any men I know. Unfortunately. It made me cry with sadness & joy. It reminded my of my experience as a kidney donor. What I found most difficult to believe was the existing friendship between Noah & Alexi. Whether that's because such a close, non-sexual, relationship doesn't exist or whether I've just never seen or been part of one, I don't know, but it did keep distracting me. Noah was wonderful, though, completely supportive of Alexi & considerate of how her past might be affecting her present. Alexi was almost too perfect, empathetic to everyone, including the rude business owner across the street who kept insulting Alexi & trying to shut down her coffee shop. But even with these quibbles, I think this is my favourite of the Bromance series.

A friends-to-lovers romance made irresistible for witty dialogue and evolved masculinity. Less emphasis on the book club element than previous titles in the series and a new Beefcake that steals the spotlight.

I laughed, I cheered and I bawled my face off with Noah & Alexis’ story. This series is just SO GOOD!!! Between Noah’s growth, Alexis’ discovery of her father (and her backbone!), the dealing with the Karen (who is perfectly named thankyouverymuch), and the delightful cat, I could not envision a more perfect story. Even The Russian was there in all of his glory!!
Thank you Ms Adams! This is one of my favorite series! You deal with these characters so respectfully and candidly.

I was so excited when this popped up in @netgalley! I loved The Bromance Book Club and Undercover Bromance and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this! I was going to save it to read closer to its Pub Date in October (10/27/2020), but I was having a rough day and knew this would knock me out of it.

This is Noah and Alexa’s (who you get to know in Undercover Bromance) love story - and it’s a friends-to-love trope with an evil pet cat, a coffee shop for abuse survivors, hacking, parent drama, and (of course!) grand gesture. What I love about The Bromance Book Club series is the male main characters, and Noah is just as good as Mac and Gavin. Read this when it comes out in October - and check out the other two books before then!

This book wasn't quiiiiite as great as the others in this series. The story spends more time focusing on the heroine and her family issues; the relationship and the hero's development take a decided back seat.

As a general contemporary romance, it is a good addition to general collection-- it can be read alone apart from the series and has a good relationship. For fans who are invested in the book club, it's a little lacking.

I absolutely LOVED the Bromance Book Club and so, for me, this was an easy one to jump into and binge read! It did not disappoint one little bit! I loved getting to know Noah and Alexis and found their companionship/friendship so endearing that you couldn't help but cheer for them along the way! The ONLY thing that felt a little unbelievable was Noah's job...and for me, that wasn't a deal breaker. Go ahead and dive into this cute friendship-to-romance story complete with all the characters that you know and love from the first two in the series!

There is no slump happening in this series. Crazy, Stupid Bromance did not disappoint and may in fact, be my favorite so far. I loved Noah and Alexis's friends to lovers romance. Both of their struggles with loss and grief are so relatable and real. Nothing beats a good romance with fun and humor and steam that you've been rooting for. While you don't have to read these books as a series, you really should. They layer so well and you get so much more of the characters when read in order.
