Once again, Lyssa Kay Adams brings me to tears of laugher as I read her third installment of her Bromance series.

Such a fun, fabulous, and sexy read.

AAAAAAAAHHHH. I love Lyssa Kay Adams!! This series is perfection!! I think, in spite of how good the first two were, this is my absolute favorite. Writing this with the tears still flowing down my face. Noah and Alexis are my two favorite characters so far, and this storyline was heartfelt and wholesome. I love that this series breaks down what we love so much about this genre and absolutely turns it on its head with some gusto. This series takes those feelings, that love, and takes it that much farther. It's a cut above.
Not-so-patiently awaiting book four and the Russian's romance story!!

Solidly in the Friendzone until he wants more. Bromance Book Club to the rescue! I've come to love this group of eclectic guys and the romantic issues they tackle.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is third in a series of standalone romances that connect through the recurring characters and the ongoing series themes.

Alexis Carlisle owns a cat cafe and helps abuse victims. She has her friends and her life is pretty stable if a little lonely after her mother's death to cancer until an unknown sister blows into her life and drags her into a family she didn't know she had since her dad left her and her mom. Between painful issues of her personal past and family cropping up, an attraction rising up between her and her good friend is not welcome since she can't lose her friend. And, then she gets the wrong end of the stick and it's all broken anyway, isn't it?

Noah Logan was on assignment when his dad was killed in a bombing. He's angry at circumstances, but he's also so tired of not having his skills appreciated or career taken seriously by his family. His friendship with Alexis means everything and he supports her in her efforts and with this startling family tangle all the way. But, he's ready to rock the boat when he's feeling a lot more than friendly toward that wonderful woman. He doesn't want to push her into doing what she doesn't want so what does he do? Does a romance book have the answers? The guys of the secret Bromance Book Club think so.

I loved the first books in spite of their heartwrenching angst-filled situations, but I confess that a good friends to lovers with family issues had me flying through the pages. This was a good blend of romance development and drama with humor set against the backdrop of the wedding for the previous pair. There are some serious topics here- grief, secret families, family expectation and disappointment, abuse, etc- and they are handled thoughtfully even as the romance presses forward.

I liked both of them when they appeared in Undercover Bromance and was perfectly happy to see something grow between them when they connected over losing a parent. They had a true, solid friendship and that was easy to see. I loved the way Noah was patient and understanding of Alexis and stood up for her with her family who I thought treated her poorly even while wanting something from her. Just as she was well-liked by his and supported him as he worked through his issues. Families being families, really. I was somewhat frustrated over the miscue she had when she got him wrong, but it was also a time when the guys jumped in to the rescue which is always good comic relief. I loved how the bridesmaids for Mack and Liv's wedding (and wasn't Mack a hoot over his wedding planning?) helped Alexis untangle her issues, too.

Another fabulous installment, but yes, I am over the top excited for the Russian to get his story next. He's so funny, but now I can see there is a lot going on in his life and I can't wait. Contemporary Romance fans who liked well-developed romance situations, friendly camaraderie, and some humor mixed in don't want to miss this one. or the series.

Oh how I love this series so much. The boys are back in session at The Bromance Bookclub and this time they are ready to help Noah get out of the friends zone. (*gasp!)
Noah, the ridiculously intelligent caring nerd that he is, has built up a pretty strong friend zone around Alexis. They have been inseparable for years but never went past anything other than friends. Alexis is also a good hearted loveable heroines with slight trust issues but totally understandable given her history.

In the sweetest of sweetest friends to lover romance, this book has soo much-- including surprise extra family, a fiesty Beefcake and lots of lovely angst. With some added family drama this book was one I couldn't put down! Most definitely recommend!

Y'all, @lyssakayadams is bringing it with the third installment of the Bromance Book Club, and I have absolutely no complaints!

While I loved the previous two books, this one is definitely my favorite. It made me laugh out loud several times, brought tears to my eyes, and made me fall in love with each and every one of the Bromance Book Club men when I didn't think I could love them more! These guys have no qualms about talking about and sharing their emotions with each other, and whether they were belting out songs from the Moana soundtrack, practicing a choreographed dance for an upcoming wedding, or coaching Noah through his feelings (assisted, as always, by a great romance novel!), they had me hooked on this story from the first page to the epilogue. As always, @lyssakayadams brought all the feelings while tackling heavier issues of sexual harassment, toxic masculinity, victim shaming, and the importance of organ donation with sensitivity and grace, and the friends-to-lovers romance between Alexis and Noah was so, so heartwarming.

Can we also talk about how on-point and hilarious the "Russian" was in this book? He really brought the laugh-out-loud moments, plus some wise words, and if Crazy Stupid Bromance is any indication, I'm hoping he's the star of one of the future books!

I know I've said this about the last four or five books I've reviewed, but seriously, read this one ASAP because this is @lyssakayadams at her very best, and I will be waiting with bated breath for her next book!

Another win from the creative Lyssa Kay Adams. I love the way that she creates her characters and allows them to grow in each book that she writes. I think that there are a lot of men who could learn a lot from the Bromance Book Club. In this friends-to-lovers trope, I think I appreciated that the love between Noah and Alexis was visible from chapter one. The two characters might not have been aware; but as a reader, it was obvious. I'm crossing my fingers that the next installment features The Russian.

In the last book we got a better look at Alexis and Noah. They were both background characters that you knew were on the verge of having their story told. However, I had no clue that their stories would involve each other. We kind of only meet Noah briefly in the last book, and as far as I remember, him and Alexis didn’t know each other. In this book, they’ve met, and have become best friends since the last book. While I would have liked to have been witness to their building friendship, it was nice to see these two go from best friends to lovers without all the extra build-up time.

While this story does take place in both POV’s, this is ultimately Alexis’ story. A lot of it focuses on her finding her biological father and the uncertainty of trying to connect with him and his family. While her and her mother were struggling, he was running a company with a wife and two kids, in a beautiful home. So, it’s safe to say that not only does she have a lot to digest, but so does the other family.

I did enjoy the fact that these two already had an existing friendship before this book starts. It allowed for the characters to shine and be comfortable with each other, instead of that awkward build up. These two are very close, and that shows throughout the entire story. I also liked that we followed Noah while he hung out with the guys. It’s clear that he’s still getting comfortable with them, but these guys have his back no matter what. I think the best part of the whole book was when they go to a spa for a massage, and immediately start panicking because they have no clue what to do. Do they get naked? Do they shower first? What if they get a woody? These guys were in the locker room straight up panicking over what to do, that it was hard not to laugh out loud.

This is a fun series to read. I love that we get both POVs. Not only does that help better understand both characters, but it’s just interesting to see the guys go to their bromance book club meetings. Let’s just say when these guys get together, it’s never a dull moment. I look forward to seeing who’s next on the chopping block.

Another amazing book from Lyssa Kay Adams, in my opinion the best one of them! I love her work but wow, this one really hit different!

This had everything I needed, comedy and swoonworthy scenes that just had me SCREAMING. I also cried because that is how good this book is. Romcom lovers will LIVE for this one. The characters are some of the best written characters out there, I just really love Noah and Alexis. They are relatable and just the kind of characters you love and would do anything for!

This book had my heart from the first page and it still does, I would recommend it to everyone!

Oh my, hot, steamy Diggity slap!! My eyes were rolling, and they got quite the workout while reading this one!

Crazy Stupid Bromance is the third book in the Bromance Book Club and here it's all about Alexis and Noah and their heartwarming relationship. Alexis is settling into a quieter life after the events in the second book with her best friend Noah when she learns she has a sister, and her birth father needs a transplant. Feeling vulnerable, she leans on her friendship with Noah, and he treads lightly not to rock that heartwarming, caring bond between them. The tension rises between them, and I was rooting along with the bromance club for these friends to become lovers.

The Bromance has been the highlight of the stories for me, and I love all the feminist male members of the club. The dynamics between them are hilarious and awkward, and I loved how we see those expected gender roles switched, and there is no male masculinity going on here. However, at times it felt a little forced like it was becoming more a point that men can be like women, and it became a little cringy awkward and felt like a bit too much information at times.

There are a few subplots going on here, and the romance heats up and overwhelms the story. I couldn't control my eyes from rolling and I started to skim over some of the heated, steamy parts that felt like it went on for chapters. I am a dark reader who can be picky at times and the serious themes of the story lost steam and miss the mark for me. Overall this was an ok read for me, and I enjoyed the fun and entertainment of the story

This is the third book in the Bromance Book Club Series. I really enjoyed the first two books (The Bromance Book Club and Undercover Bromance). All three center on the men in the book club as they try to deepen their relationships with their girlfriends or want-to-be-girlfriends. I usually tire of series easily, but this one has held my attention so far.

Crazy Stupid Bromance is a nice addition to the set. I like that we get more of Alexis’ perspective, not just Noah’s—and I especially appreciate that her main “problem” has basically nothing to do with Noah or their relationship. For her, the drama centers around connecting with her birth father and deciding if she is willing to give the dying man her kidney. It’s an interesting struggle to watch play out, and as someone who connected with my own biological father late in life, I found it particularly compelling. Not necessarily the easiest storyline to make believable, but author Lyssa Kay Adams pulls it off.

My one criticism is that I wish we saw more good times between Noah and Alexis. It was clear they had a strong friendship and cared about each other deeply, but the book was conflict after conflict after conflict. It would have been more enjoyable to read if there were more scenes without them fighting or feeling so angsty.

I still really liked the book, though. I’m a diehard fan of the author by this point. So, yes, I’ll definitely be reading the next book in the series.

Another absolutely fanTAStic installment in the Bromance Book Club series. I have given all three of these books 5 stars now and that is pretty unprecedented for me. The friends-to-lovers trope is done excellently and Adams (once again) tackles some heavy topics expertly. I highly recommend this whole series.

After a shaky start with book one and a fabulous book 2, this one hits right in the middle. Crazy Stupid Bromance is only a bit lackluster because I don’t think anyone can top book 2’s fabulous characters.

Alexis is adorable and I love that she operates a cat friendly cafe. Who doesn’t love cats? Noah is one of those sexy nerds with a heart of pure gold. They’re the ultimate friends to lovers and this gave me a lot of warm fuzzies. There is a bit of suspense involved, family drama, and lots of swoons.

Of course the rest of the guys have multiple appearances and are up to no good. Watching them ‘help’ always turns into a wonderful disaster. There are lots of laughs and the story flows really well.

My only question is this... What is going on with the Russian?

Crazy Stupid Bromance is another fun, sweet, & steamy addition to the Bromance Book Club series. Alexis and Noah are both likeable yet flawed characters, and I loved the chemistry between them. Friends to lovers is always a fun trope, and Lyssa Kay Adams does it so well. I love that this book touches on trauma: Alexis is a survivor of sexual abuse (which happened at her previous job, as mentioned in Undercover Bromance), and Noah is still dealing with grief after his father's death in Afghanistan. It's really nice to see a romance that deals with trauma and vulnerability in a respectful way.

I want to get this out of the way: I hate the title of this book. I'd love to see authors stop using words like "crazy" or "insane" to describe things when they really mean "ridiculous" or "wild." There are so many alternatives that could be used instead of terms that have been used to stigmatize mental health treatment. For many readers who've struggled with mental health, seeing the word "crazy" on a book cover like this is upsetting and triggering.

That being said, I really did enjoy this book. Anything with cats is always a winner for me, and I loved Alexis's cat Beefcake! I wanted more of the cats and Alexis's cafe. This book also deals heavily with Alexis trying to decide if she should donate a kidney to her biological father, whom she's never met before. This is definitely a heavy plotline. Like Undercover Bromance, this novel also deals with sexual misconduct. I love that Alexis has become an advocate for survivors and uses her success & privilege to help them.

Overall, a sweet, cute, steamy friend to lovers story! I would definitely recommend this to readers who've enjoyed previous books in the series, but it could also work as a stand-alone. I would have loved to see more of the actual book club as that plotline kind of took a back seat. But still super enjoyable--I just really wish the publisher had thought of a better, less offensive title.

While I didn't dislike this book, I have to admit that I did find it to be just a smidge underwhelming? I had a pleasant enough time working my way through it, but neither this one nor the previous installment have really lived up to how much I loved the first book and I'm pretty bummed about it, tbh. I will still 100% be reading the next book in the series though because I am SO interested in the character that it is going to follow, so hopefully that one will work better for me! TL;DR: this was fine, but not a favorite for me.

Where do I start? This book made me laugh so much! The third in the Bromance Book Club series, Crazy Stupid Bromance is such a fun read. This one focuses on Noah and Alexis, two of the secondary characters from the last book, which I'll admit made me a little nervous, since I didn't connect with them as much as I did with Mack and Liv in the first book. My worries were unfounded and I loved this one. One thing I really love about Lyssa Kay Adams's writing is that she doesn't shy away from hard issues (living donor transplants, grief, sexual harassment, to name a few) but throws in a lot of laughs (including Mack planning his wedding to Liv). I can't wait for more in this series!!

I love this series!! The premise is so cute - a group of men reading romance novels to improve their relationships. I love that each book focuses on a different member of the group, so you don't necessarily need to read them in order. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a new romance series similar to Jasmine Guillory's writing.

I rarely listen to romance audiobooks, and I’m asking myself why, because this one was almost a nonstop listen for me. Thanks to a fabulous narration, and a sexy voice – the audiobook was pure pleasure to listen to, and the sex scenes were YUMMY!!!!

Overall, the novel was a solid addition to the series. And anyone loving the Friends to Lovers trope will enjoy Noah and Alexis love story. It was palpable how well they knew and respected each other. Also, their chemistry was on point and made their connection even more believable.

I still love the idea of a bromance book club. It’s a lot of fun when the guys talk about romance books, analyze them, and give advise. The entire setup is unique, and makes for an enjoyable read.

But the most enjoyable part of all was Alexis’ cat Beefcake, he stole the show. He had the guys cowering in fear, and I was laughing my head off. I always wanted a Maine Coon, and hope one day I have one like Beefcake.

I’m also extremely curious about the next book in this series, the one about The Russian. So far he has been the comic relief in this series, and I can’t see him as a love interest yet, but I’m open to whatever the author has planned for us.

To start with, this is my favorite book of the series.

Noah and Alexei are best friends. And in order to not ruin their friendship, they've both friend-zoned themselves. this book is a classic friends to lovers trope. Even though this is my least favorite trope, I actually really enjoyed it.

Noah: Noah is a big, bearded cinnamon roll of a heor. He is so caring for Alexis, and he is a cute nerd. I loved how he was so patient yet passionate for Alexis and her happiness.

Alexis: She is a sexual abuse survivor (people meet her in Book 2 but I've not read it). She is the kind of character who wants to save the world, or who wants to stay busy saving the world so she doesn't have to deal with personal issues. This book is mainly about her and her progress with family. I don't want to spoil much but I really enjoyed that this book had a conflict/issue outside of the main relationship.

Bromance: I wish we had a little more of that. I kept forgetting that this one is a part of Bromance series. The hero barely read the book yet kept blaming the book for things going wrong. I wish there was more of him reading the book and not just getting irritated withh the book club till the end.

Romance and the HEA: I think Noah and Alexei were truly great friends, and that's why I loved their relationship and them getting together. They were really hot together, they understood and knew each other, and both of them were really good in relying on each other. They had the classic issues of first time intimacy panic and fearing they've ruined their friendship, but it was resolved pretty quickly, so I don't mind it much. Moreover, I am so happy that they did manage to get together a little early on and we see them dealing with external conflicts together. I love seeing that in a couple.

Overall, a really engaging book with good character development, interesting side characters, some funny moments with the bromance book club. Can't wait for the Russian's book.
