This is the first book in a new series, The Orchid Valley series, about a group of best friends finding their true love. The first book, and the included prequel, is the long love story of Brinley and Marston. After 10 years these 2 are reunited in Vegas for one night. Little does Brinley know that 1 night would change her life as she knew it. 6 months later back home in the Orchid Valley Brinley is prepared to marry Julian, her marriage of convenience fiance, when her first true love returns to fight not only for their love but to show everyone what he has made of himself. Marston was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks that met Brinley at her 16th birthday party that he was working at. These 2 fell fast and the only reason they broke up was after her family caught them in bed together. Brinley asked Marston to leave town and not to look back later.

I loved this story and can not wait for the second in the series, Stella and Kace. I was so happy to hear that this is the second couple to be featured because I am really intrigued by Stella and her back story. I just wish it was coming out next month instead of the end of 2020. I need my fill of this series now!!

Thank you to netgalley and Lexi Ryan for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

It was an ok story, A little predictable (secret baby, drunk wedding, domineering parents..... There could have been more character development.

A big thanks to NetGalley for the chance to read + review this delicious story! 4.5 stars!

I absolutely loved (and devoured) this spicy little book! The characters were perfection together... alone however, Brinley had a tendency to grate on my
nerves. Not a bad thing, it actually added the slightly angsty feel that balanced out the book nicely. But together... oh baby. Only adding to the their already sizzling connection is the fact their past was so very sweet. So often, reading the ‘past’ backstories bore me. This time though, it added so much strength and conviction to learning the true heart of our protagonists.

Boy OH BOY will I be back for every story in the Orchid Valley series!!

A side note: Make sure to read the prequel, Every Little Promise first. It’s a must, and crucial to understanding the story.

Based on the plot summary of this book I expected it to be a light romance. It is not light at all. It's definitely a heavy read with lots of conflict. It is well written and the characters are dimensional and complex, which I loved. I also really enjoyed the theme of family you choose.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had a really hard time with the tenor of the conflicts in this book. The men in this book (including the Hero) say completely nasty, horrible, and abusive things to the female lead when they argue. There is generally an apology afterwards, but COME. ON. Our heroine needs to get it together and not just TELL these men they can't speak to her this way, but then also FOLLOW THROUGH. It became increasingly difficult to root for this couple when the Hero shouted vile, disgusting, and personal things at her every time he lost his temper. Not only was this hard to read, but it was also in stark contradiction with the way his character was written. I was so disappointed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was a promising premise, with good writing, but ultimately failed at making the reader root for this couple and also promotes unhealthy communication in the central relationship.

I received an ARC of this title from Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

Second chances for the poor little rich girl and the juvenile delinquent guy. This was one rag tag of a story and not a cute and nice HEA. Two people who had to be fated because life couldn’t possibly put that much in their way and they still end up together. I want to cuss and be annoyed but I guess the story ends well.

What did I like? It’s impossible not to like Marston Rowe..... the rest of the characters were flim flam. Marston Rowe loved Brinley.... before she even loved herself. Brinley grew up being second to her dying sister and never grew out of it. She allowed everyone in her life to make her choices for her and never really grew out of the mindset. Every little piece of me is a back and forth between past and present in a most painful way. Sometimes love can get ugly... But thank god for second chances.

Would I recommend or buy? The back and forth between past and present would upset some people. It doesn’t seem to bother me. Brinley marries Marston in Vegas but didn’t remember so there could be unconscious cheating. I thought the book was good, and I finished in one sitting. I’d read more by this author.

Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new release! I just loved Marston... what a gem! The way she ends up with a different father for Cami was really edgy, that really threw me for a loop.
Four stars, and an enjoyable book.

I received a copy from Netgalley and this is my opinion.

I received a free copy of Every Little Piece of Me in exchange for an honest review. This was everything I could hope for in a novel. Marston grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and fell for Brinley who was completely out of his league. Those two had everything going against them. They had a very brief relationship in high school, and then after a family death, they split up and went different directions.

After a ten year separation, Brinley celebrated her 27th birthday in Las Vegas where she arranged to "run into" Martson. They shared had a fairy tale evening, and the next morning Brinley panicked and left again.

Martson was such a great character. He feelings never wavered for Brinley, even though she was constantly pushing him away. At one point, I thought Marston could have done better, but they had so much chemistry, it would have been a waste.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and I would recommend this book to friends and family,

Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan is an exciting book. The characters are easy to get to know and their heartache is tangible. This is the story about Brinley Knox, a nice girl from a wealthy family, and Marston Rowe, a boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Brinley and Marston meet in high school and it is practically love at first site. Unfortunately, Brinely's dictatorial parents control almost every aspect of her life, and Marston is a delinquent in their eyes. After ten years of being a part, their love cannot be denied.

This is the first book from the authors brand new series, Orchid Valley. The beautiful cover and book blurb is what drew me right in. I liked the characters a lot, especially Brinley's best friends and charming ten-year-old daughter. Marston is a good guy and his rags to riches story is quite compelling. I liked Brinley and felt her heartache from beginning to end. She and Marston are a hot and sexy couple. Unfortunately, the story is repetitive at times. This book may be read as a standalone.

Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

Brinley Knox and Marston Rowe are fated to be together. This is a story of second chances and new beginnings. There is loss and bad decisions with loads of parental disapproval and so much time lost. Bring some tissue and a pillow and get comfortable.

Emotional roller-coaster filled with interesting and engaging charters, witty banter, heart racing twists, emotional moments and undeniable passion. Was a great read from beginning to end.

While this book is wonderful and well written I just can't get past the way it was written.

Half of this book is written in the past, half now. So that means almost every other chapter we get to see a moment from their past. Listen, I like seeing some things from the past that are meaningful to the characters but reading about that almost every chapter makes me want to put down the book. Not indefinitely but I just couldn't read so fast as I'm used to. It slowed me down.

I feel like both the hero and the heroine could be more honest with each other. I mean, the guy left her alone for six months because he was giving her space but she didn't even remember the wedding. There were always some secrets surrounding them.

She was always a good girl even though she was (well, her family) rich she was always kind. And I like that.

But I just couldn't believe that after a tragedy struck she will do a complete one eighty and become so different. It was just a complete opposite to her character and I seriously couldn't believe her actions.

Fast forward ten years, they get married and he has to fight for her. Until the last page of the book she never fought for him. I kind of felt bad for Marston.

So many negative things I could point out but I'd rather write some positive things: Cami, Brinley's friends, the tension and chemistry between the MCs.

3 stars.

ARC also included a separate book, a prequel which was also filled with flashes from past to the present. I didn't exactly like it took me more than one fifth of the book before I could start book 1. I know I could skip it but since I wanted a glimpse from the past I read it. If you consider reading Every Little Piece of Me I'd suggest the same.

Hmm. Why to say? I was really looking forward to this book. And while I didn’t love it like I thought I would, I didn’t hate it either. It is a nice second chance romance.

4.3 stars

I am a sucker for second-chance romance if it is done right, and boy howdy was this one done right. I appreciated the author giving dual points of view in creating a story that I could sink my teeth into. It helped me understand the characters and their motivations. It was especially helpful with Brinley who I struggled with at times. I also appreciated the past and the present timelines because I could see how and why things were the way that they were now. Without those, I am not sure that I would have fully connected with the characters because I wouldn't have known where they started and why it was such a connection that deserved to be fought for again.

There were strong friendships, important themes that were addressed, and a great love story. I would have loved a little less drama at times because it felt over the top and it did make me roll my eyes a few times. However, as this is a first time reading this author it gave me a good idea of her style and gives me high hopes of what the future of this story is, as well as a desire to go back and read previous works by this author.

Brinley and Marston meet when they're both in high school. Marston's a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks and Brinley is a rich girl who is starting to be disillusioned by her world. Things don't end well but neither of them have forgotten how much they loved each other. Now years later, Marston is rich due to a lot of hard work and an education, and Brinley is struggling. Her controlling parents have cut her off financially so she is marrying someone she doesn't love in a marriage of convenience. When Marson and Brinley meet for the first time in years things get intense and their relationship explodes. I enjoyed this book but not as much as other books by this author.

Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan is a solid 4 star book if you are in the mood for some angsts romance. There are a lot of flashbacks, which is not a writing device I like. The premise is intriguing: Lexi invites Marston to her wedding, except these two are already married. There is a lot of emotion explored, and not really the sparks that I expected.

I love this book. This is the first book in this new series by Lexi. It captured me right from the beginning to the very last page. I'm so excited for this new series. I love Lexi's writing and her characters. I cannot wait till the next book.

Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I’m having mixed feelings about this one... I’m giving it 3.5 stars.

Him, I loved. Her, not so much. Which is odd since I loved them both in the 0.5 story (free on amazon). This book just made her seem obnoxious and wishy washy to me. I wanted to shake her several times and tell her to get her act together. That he was and is perfect for her.

Maybe you’ll enjoy this one more then me.

DNF. I really tried but could not stand Brinley. She messes with Marston and even Julian too much. I also did not like the whole situation with Roman and her decisions with him. Yes, she had a lot of sadness in her life, but she never seems to grow up and stop making poor choices. I got tired of reading about her selfish and impulsive decisions and since I don’t think she deserves a nice man like Marston, I will not be finishing the book,

'Every Little Piece of Me’ begins six months after where the prequel ‘Every Little Promise’ ended. You can read this book without reading the prequel first. But I would recommend reading the prequel first. It definitely makes you connect with the characters more. And that story definitely made me love these characters.

It’s been six months since Marston found Brinley gone, with her wedding ring and a little note left behind. Now six months, and a lot of hurt and brooding further, Marston receives a wedding invitation to Brinley’s wedding. You can bet Marston won’t let this happen without a fight. How can Brinley leave him so easily, and invite him to her wedding?

If you read this book description it’s hard to imagine how things would end up like this between Marston and Brinley. How can Brinley plan a wedding with them still being married? It definitely made me wonder a lot. And I just wanted to keep on reading till I read every single page.

The romance between Marston and Brinley was really fun to read about. I just loved their chemistry. And I especially loved Marston. He was such a handsome, sexy, kind guy and I couldn’t get enough of him. I loved how he fought for Brinley, and how he made something of himself.

Brinley’s character frustrated me a little to be honest. Without giving to much away.. I just didn’t like how she let herself be treated by her friend Julian.

Throughout this book, we also read little bits about Marston and Brinley’s friends. I really hope there will be some books about them too because this book definitely made me curious about them.

‘Every Little Piece of Me’ was fun and romantic read, I definitely enjoyed.

I always enjoy Lexi Ryan's books and Every Little Piece of Me was definitely no exception.

Brinley and Marston's relationship is complicated, to say the least. This is a second chance romance. However, it contains flashbacks to their high school years when she was the little rich girl and he was basically the hired help. The tables turn a little later on when they meet up again as adults and it gives the story an interesting feel. There are a few surprises in store for the reader to keep things lively.

Brinley's choices frustrated me a little but I also see why the author chose to write her character the way she did. Marston is pure perfection as a male lead. There's not much to not love with him...he's a great character. He only cares about giving to those he cares about and his worst offense is that he may show his love too much. He has a definite battle ahead of himself when he tries to win Brinley's back to a "forever status."

I really enjoyed getting to know the other secondary characters as well. The beautiful thing about a Lexi Ryan series is the excitement about looking forward to the next book/story where you learn even more about the characters and get to see their ultimate happily ever afters.

Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I experienced a slew of emotions when I read Every Little Piece of Me. I cried, I swooned and I yelled, mostly at the main female character, Brinley. I thought I was reading a cliche, secret baby romance but the author turned the tables on me and surprised me with her heartrending story. Her use of a past/present timeline gave the characters more depth. Marston is the kind of man any parent would want for their daughter!
