I only thing that I love most about romance is a second chance story and this book had all the elements to be a great one.
Unfortunately, something didn’t add up for me, whether was the time laps or we get back together and marry just because we’re in Vegas, I don’t know.
I liked the writing and the characters but I wanted a bit more from them. And when I say more, I’m referring to their relationship now, that they have questions and answers for what happened before and they can start fresh with everything clear.
There’s a lot of chemistry and banter and steamy scenes that I’ve enjoyed.

I really liked this book but I would have liked it better if the heroine wasn’t so naive and stupid. I mean how can one woman have so many bad men in her life and not recognize the good one. It was kinda exasperating. I actually loved Brinley’s friends though. Savvy was awesome as was Stella. The best thing about this book was Marston! What a totally swoon worthy guy. 😍😍 i wanted time punch Brinelys dad in the junk along with Julian. What a bunch of tools. All in all it was a good romance novel but I think I will the next one even

Every Little Piece of me includes the prequel story - Every Little Promise – and it sets the book up beautifully.

Marston Rowe was a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and some might say Brinley Knox was a spoilt little rich girl. Their relationship wasn't approved of, and they eventually parted ways. Years later they reconnect, and soon realise their lives will never be the same again!

I LOVED this! It's so well written, I couldn't put it down until I finished! Looking forward to the second book in the series.

A story that starts when they are teenagers. Marston moves to her home town because he is in trouble and his aunt takes him in. he begins working for Brinley’s family. The two meets at her sixteenth birthday and for the most part are together until she sends him away because of her parents and another reason. Now years later Marston is very successful along with his partner and he and Brinley meet in Vegas by chance? They spend a night talking and clubbing, in the morning when she wakes, she has a ring on her left finger. She leaves the ring and bails.
Months later Marston receives an invitation to his wife’s wedding, yes Brinley is marrying someone else. So, he does what every husband does and goes to her to remind her that she already has a husband. If only the story would be that easy. It is not. She is still being controlled by her father, now her fiancé, and the two of them are each a piece of work. At times I felt that the only person she took her anger out on was Marston and I felt he did nothing to her. She felt like he was the one that put her in all of the situations that she herself created and was dealing with from the time that she kicked him out of her life. Yet she still knew he would be in Vegas that weekend and looked for him and the reason would be? You figure it out when reading it. The author has going back to the past and then back to the present which added to the story. It took Marston to finally get angry at everything because he truly just loved her, her and he tried to get her to see that when he walked it was now her turn to fight or let him go. See what happens in the end, a very good book with good characters. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at

Marston and Brinley were high school sweethearts—in secret. when the story opens, Marston is a delinquent from the ‘wrong side of the tracks,’ and Brinley is the daughter of the wealthiest family in town. They meet on the night of Brinley’s 16th birthday party, after a cruel break-up scene with her boyfriend. They end up seeing each other in secret, and having lots of stolen moments while getting to know each other. They fall in love, knowing that her parents will never approve. Brinley has a twin sister, who is undergoing cancer treatments. When a tragedy occurs, Brinley takes it out on Marston and asks him to leave. So he does. Fast forward 10 years, and Brinley and Marston meet up again in a Las Vegas bar. Brinley wakes up the next morning with a ring on her finger, and assumes that she and Marston got engaged overnight. So she hightails it out of there, and goes back to her life in Georgia, not realizing that she’s married. And in a rebellious twist, she accepts a marriage proposal that’s partly a business proposition, and sends a wedding invitation to Marston, who has been biding his time and waiting for Brinley to reach out again. Since she’s already married, he needs to stop this wedding and find out why she thinks she’s about to get married.

This book has some periods of really high tension. There are also other parts that are hilarious, awkward, fun, and/or serious. Through her relationship with her friends, she finally realizes some pretty important things. Brinley’s growth arc is well done, but it takes her a long time to reach it. Marston is a pretty steady protagonist throughout, but just has to figure out the best way to relate to Brinley. He understands her as well or better than her closest friends, but he sometimes acts in ways that don’t mesh with that deeper understanding. Let’s just say there’s a learning curve involved. Nevertheless, these two finally figure it out, with a few important revelations along the way.

This book definitely holds the interest of the reader, because there are times when it seems pretty hopeless. Yet somehow, this author makes it work. During some of the higher tension times, this reader had to put the book down and walk away, just to get a break! I was rooting for Marston the whole time, but it wasn’t clear that Brinley would ever find her footing. The author uses the vehicle of friendship to move the story forward in several places, and it’s very effective!

I’m broken, I’ve forgotten how to write reviews again, so I’m going to *try* to keep this simple and sweet. I was excited to start another series, but I have some mixed feelings about it. The whole story was fine, but I lacked sincere chemistry between the main characters. Like I get that they were intensely in love in the past, but they didn’t really develop anything in their present, they kinda just picked up where they left off of their feelings. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me who had higher expectations, but I’m gonna stick through with the series because Brinley’s best friends are hilarious and I want more. -JH

Well, I have loved other books by this author, so I just assumed I would love this one also. Unfortunately I just didn’t like Brinley at all. She was selfish and purposely obtuse. IMO she was worse than her parents. At least they were open about their prejudices whereas hers were much more subtle. I also found the setup to be a bit far fetched and the end too quick. Wasn’t a winner for me, it I will still read future books by the author.

My Thoughts
This was another super angsty and steamy romance from Lexi Ryan!! I love how much drama and tension she weaves into every one of her romances. Her books are always the most binge-worthy breaks from the real world which is definitely what I need right now.nHowever I do have some mixed feelings about this book. Brinley was such a strong and independent heroine (almost to a fault)! But sometimes a character like this is too much to handle for me. At times it was a little over the top. Overall this was a really great start to a new series! I loved this town and these characters and I can't wait for all of their stories!

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity!

After loving the Jackson Harbor series, I couldn't wait to read this new series, Orchid Valley.
The novel is told from the point of view of both protagonists, with chapters that alternate the past and present of Marston and Brinley.
Marston is the classic bad boy, while Brinley is the beautiful and rich girl that no one can resist.

Ten years later, our two protagonists meet again and the spark comes back to life.
Brinley is a stubborn girl with a difficult past, while Marston is a boy who has become a man, a strong and extremely sweet person.
I loved their first meeting, but what I loved the most is their relationship. My heart melted.
You can see right away that they have a beautiful bond.

I can't wait to read the second volume of this series, I'm really curious to read about Knox.
I love Lexi Ryan and her stories always capture my interest and I always want more.

All the feels in this truly wonderful second chance romance
Well hell! After reading the prequel (which is in fact at the beginning of this book), I was all over the place. I knew it wasn’t going to be a straight forward happy ending, but I wasn’t prepared for the angst, the drama, and the wtf moments. To begin with I wasn’t happy with Brinley, she wasn’t the spoilt little rich girl she was made out to be, but she also wasn’t the independent woman she thought she was. I was possibly a little jealous because, Marston Rowe! He was the ultimate boyfriend, I mean, truly perfect, and yet I felt that she pushed him away at every opportunity. I wondered at one point if he could be considered a pushover and a little weak, but I realised that no, he was just that much of a good guy. And don’t even get me started on Brinley’s family. Despicable. A truly wonderful, sexy, emotional second chance romance. I was rooting for Marston and Brinley from the first page. Add in all those wonderful friends, and of course Cami, who I loved, what a sweetie, and this book was a firm Favourite for me. Hands down, 5 stars. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This isn't the first time Lexi Ryan has completely sucked me in and made me feel. Angsty must be her thing because holy cow.

When I read the blurb about a girl getting married in Vegas, forgetting, and inviting the guy to the wedding, it sounded like light and silly shenanigans. No. Feelings ran deep and there is so much history between Marston and Brinley. This was emotional and difficult.

These two are basically made for each other. It did bother me how much he had to do ALL the chasing and Brinley even in the past gave up on their love too easily. It didn't bother me enough to love the story any less though. So basically, to sum it up, this was a super awesome second chance romance with high emotions and high stakes. I loved it and look forward to the next in the series!

ARC received for review

Brinley was the little rich girl and Marston was a poor boy from the wrong side of the track. They were in love until she sent him away. Years later they meet up again...was it by chance? They have a wide night in Vegas and she wakes up with a diamond on her finger. She runs home and gets engaged not knowing that the ring was a wedding band. Marston comes back to town and drama ensues. Her parents are a real piece of work. I just wanted to slap them. They both have amazing friends and I see sparks flying between several of them.

I couldn’t put this book down and thought the writing was excellent. The chemistry was there between Marston and Brinley from beginning to end. The thing I struggled with the most was Brinley’s indecisiveness. I understood it to a point, but it got so frustrating. Especially because she was willing to accept help in some form or another from everyone else except the person that loved her most in the world. Communication was a big factor too, the lack thereof really. I enjoyed the angst to a point, but by the end I was like finally. This really is an engaging story and I loved all of Brinley’s friends. It just contained my biggest pet peeve. Looking forward to more in this series though.

This is an entertaining second-chance romance mixed in with the guy from the wrong side of town -turned-multi-millionaire coming back for his girl. Throw in a secret-and-forgotten Vegas wedding and we have several standard romantic plot-lines. It’s a fun mix albeit rather predictable.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Marston Rowe never forgot his first love, Brinley Knox. They were from completely different worlds, he was a poor orphan taken in by his only living family member when his mom passed, and Brinley was the daughter of the wealthiest family in town. Despite their differences and her family's staunch disapproval, he knew she was the one. After Brinley's sister loses her battle with cancer she begs Marson to leave feeling guilt over situations her death. Now it's 10 years later and she's found him in a Vegas night club. Waking up with a ring on her finger and no recollection of exactly what happened she slips out of the hotel to move on with her life as she planned, but it won't be that easy.

I have a few mixed feelings, I love a good second chance story and this one hit in some areas and missed in others. It's not a light read, it deals with some tough issues like addiction, emotional and verbal abuse, and terminal illness. My heart hurt for both main characters, Marston for feelings of inadequacy even 10 years later, Brinley for her parents' treatment of her. I wanted Brinley to be stronger, but also understand that the cycle of abuse, no matter what type it is is so hard to overcome. The book does have some funny moments and good side characters to lighten it a little, there's plenty of angst and heartbreak, and a small triangle (but really you know Julian didn't stand a chance). I am interested to see who's book is next and where they go, there are a few characters I'm shipping.

I read this prequel novella to this, Every Little Promise a month ago. I enjoyed that little story and was dying to know how it would end up turning out. You do really need to read the novella first I think, but don't panic if you haven't, it appeared at the beginning of this book anyway.
Every Little Piece of Me is a second chance romance. Marston and Brinley were crazy about each other as teenagers. Unfortunately, Brinley's family didn't approve and they went their separate ways. Now, years later they have run into one another again and after a night together in Las Vegas, they ended up married. The only problem is that Brinley ran away afterwards and it seems she can't remember as she's now engaged to be married to someone else.
I really liked Marston, it's clear just how much he loves Brinley, even if she can't see it. The two of them make a good couple and although Brinley has a number of things to deal with before she can see why Martson is the man for her, it's obvious that they are perfect together.
Although I had read the prequel, there were a number of things that I had assumed based on that that turned out to be wrong. There were plenty of surprises and revelation. Overall this was a great read and I can't wait to read more in the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Thank you NetGalley and publishers for the ARC, in exchange for my honest opinion.
Short read that is a new series by Lexi Ryan. This is the story of Brinley and Marston who see each other in Las Vegas 10 years after breaking up in high school.

Quickly picking where they left off they spend the night getting to know each other again only' to wake up the next morning with Brinley realizing they've gotten married.
This book flashes between past and present. While the chemistry is evident between the two main characters the story feels a bit unbelievable that either character wouldn't want more answers after 10 years apart and would just get married after seeing each other again. Alot of misunderstandings and frustrations ensue during the book.

Marston must be super in love with Brinley. She is so indecisive and worried about pleasing others that it is annoying. I think he is blinded by love.

It’s been a while since I’ve read this author’s work and after reading Every Little Piece of Me, I’m wondering why it took me so long to read her again. The blurb grabbed me immediately—getting an invitation to your wife’s wedding – – as a guest! I knew I had to read this story! But my heart broke for Marston so many times throughout this read. He is such a swoony, sweet and sexy hero. Brinley ticked me off a few times but I understood where she was coming from. If I didn’t love Marston so much, she wouldn’t have made me so angry! The other part of the story that I adored was Brinley’s “family of friends”. I enjoyed this group of friends so much— they have each other’s backs at all times. I love this! I’m looking forward to reading Stella and Kace’s story next. I voluntarily read and reviewed and ARC for NetGalley.
