This is one of the best cozy mystery series out there. The writing is always top notch, the characters are engaging, and the setting is beyond perfect; a library in a lighthouse! Because the author has done such a great job building this world, one can fall right back into the setting and enjoy visiting with all of the characters again. However, this can easily be read as a stand-alone book. But if you do read it by itself, you'll want to go back to the beginning of the series and read them all!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

I love this series! I fell into step with the plot quite quickly as I felt I was visiting old, comfortable friends and were part of it all. The character development was excellent and went well with the plot. The twists and turns were appropriate for the continuation of rhe plot. It was a thrilling ride I didn't want to see end. I was able to read this book in one sitting.
After the shock of one event I can't wait for the next installment!

A Dwath Long Over Due is a plots with lots of intriguing twist that will keep you reading until the end. The characters will keep you on your toes. The clues will slowly come together.

This cozy mystery was right up my alley. Who wouldn’t love a mystery with a cat, a library and full of book lovers? It was a quick read and a pleasant distraction to world events.
Assistant director of the library Lucy has put together a display of historical library artifacts for the director’s college reunion. Everything is going as planned but the previous director was in town and invited and appeared to be bothered by an old book on display. Later that evening she is found dead and Lucy can’t help but ask questions and do some investigating of her own. Is this death connected to the long ago theft of a priceless necklace? Will Lucy figure it out before all her suspects/witnesses go home?

I've read another book in this series, so it was nice getting back to the lighthouse library. I liked the majority of the characters, the cat included, and the plot was engaging. What is there not to love with a lighthouse library that has a cute cat?

Lucy and her fellow library workers are ready to host a 40th college reunion at the Lighthouse Library, and she has prepared a display to show how libraries have evolved over that period of time. The party is a great success and a couple of the party goers stroll down to the water only to find the former director of the library, Helena Sanchez, floating lifeless in the water. It turns out Helena was not well liked and had spent the evening making snide remarks to fellow party goers, leaving plenty of people who might wanted to have push her into the ocean. As usual, Lucy put on her detective hat and sets out to find the killer. After all, there is nothing that a librarian can’t do
