I really liked and enjoyed this story. The opening chapter starts out with quite the surprise of Kat and the reader. It goes all in right away. It's also part of how Kat met Angus.
I liked that Kat was the one with the zillions of dollars, and business and charity authority and demands. It made the challenges that they faced different from a lot of books.
Let's talk about Katrina (Kat) Vandenburg first. She has been born into incredible wealth and huge responsibilities. While her parents were alive she knew what a loving family was like. Also she had seen some of what a loving marriage looked like too. You can see after awhile that Kat really has two sets of friends. Emily who is Kat's personal assistant and one of her best friends, is one of those true friends. It takes her a bit of time to realize there is really only one set of true friends. That will keep her busy as she tries to stay alive with the help of F.B.I. (K-9) Agent Dayne Andrews.
Now we get to Dayne Andrews. He was great at his job and you can see how different the worlds that they come from are. Dayne has a lot of preconceived ideas about Kat and part of that comes from the fact that she is outrageously wealthy. And he would describe himself as having coming up from the streets.
The relationship that Dayne had with his canine partner Remy was a pleasure to watch. So was the interaction of Remy and the puppy Angus. It added charm, fun and smiles.
The title for this this book was interesting and as the story goes on you get a better idea of why it fits so well.
Over all this book has all the good main characters, emotions, action, mysteries, dangers, romance and some spicy heat that you could hope for. Oh yes, and some good adjustments to make for a H.E.A. which shows in the Epilogue.

There are books that you read and you don’t want to miss one word of the story…this is one of those books! The first meeting between wealthy Katrina Vandenburg and FBI Special Agent Dayne Andrews did not go well, but it was far better than this one. They meet again when Kat stumbles across the body of a former FBI agent, a friend of Dayne’s. Dayne and his K9 partner, Remy, are assigned to protect Kat as someone is after information and now believes that Kat has that information. Dayne is surprised at how genuine Kat is, not what he was expecting from such a wealthy woman. Although Kat is never sure if a man is interested in her or her money, Dayne has made it clear that his job is to keep her safe. I highly recommend this entire series - romance, suspense, danger and two main characters who are total opposites, but can’t ignore the red-hot attraction between them. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Interesting story and great return to a fun group of friends. The chemistry between them is noticeable from the beginning and the pups are adorable. This is a fast read, but there are moments of predictability or noticeable red flags of odd behavior. With that being said this was not about the villain of the story though! The ending was sweet and had me smiling the entire time.

I enjoyed reading their story and can’t wait to see what is in store for the remaining men of this group of friends.

Thanks for the chance to read this book and share my opinions!

Wow! There are brutally murdered women, stalkers and plenty of action in this story. I have been enjoying the stories in Tee O'Fallon's Federal K-9 series and this one, Trap "N Trace is another really good read. The main characters are Dayne Andrews FBI Agent K-9 Handler and Katrina Vandenberg , rich socialite who has a rescue shelter named Canine Heaven. I love these two characters. They come from different worlds but still make the perfect couple. Anyone looking for lots of action in a romantic suspense story will enjoy this one.

What keeps this reader from giving this story a 5 stars is that the author falls into the bodyguard romance that keeps it from really becoming the story I think it has the ability to be.

The characters are likable and the story flows well. The Romance is blush and might need a fan to cool yourself off at moments.

The author has found formula to her story telling and while the books and characters are just different enough after a while the different books blend together.

Thank you to Netgalley for the advance copy of Tee O'Fallon Trap 'N Trace

Wow, this series just keeps getting better with each new book.
This time the story belongs to FBI agent Dayne Andrews and the very wealthy socialite, Katrina/Kat Vandenburg.
Kat lives in a castle and leads a very structured, busy life. But her favorite endeavor is her animal rescue shelter, Canine Haven.
Dayne and his K-9 , Remy, are inseparable and meet Kat when he’s called in to investigate the murder of a former FBI agent. A woman that had been his mentor. Kat discovered the body and in doing so , triggered a domino effect that led to another death and this puts her life in danger. What is the connection? This is something everyone wants to know.
The attraction is immediate, and Dayne is determined to keep Kat safe while solving the mystery of the deaths.
While the feelings grow, Dayne tries to keep it all professional. Though both would like more , their backgrounds are worlds apart.
Will Dayne and the local police be able to find the murderer in time? Will Kat and Dayne find their HEA or will their differences interfere?
This action packed story will keep you on the edge of your seat and the romance will touch your hearts. Both dogs, Remy and Angus, are adorable and will bring smiles to your face, while the main characters are well developed and complex.
Another winner from this talented author.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I really really loved this one. It was a sweet romance with enough suspense to keep the reader's attention until the very end. Two people from different backgrounds realize just how perfect they are for each other. When they have that AHA moment....it's swoon worthy! An added bonus is the wonderful canine characters that O Fallen creates for the story. You really can't go wrong with a book by this author.

Yay, another one of the K9-series of Tee O'Fallon. I just love the dogs... (Okaaaaayyy, maybe the hot agent partner of the K9 might have something to do with it too...). But in this story, we not only have Remy, the badass K9 female dog, but also the adorable puppy Angus.
Katrina (Kat) Vandenburg is returning a stray puppy, when she stumbles upon a dead body. FBI officer Dayne Andrews was called to the scene, because the murdered woman was a previous FBI agent and Dayne's mentor. When the same evening there is another murder, with Kat as a witness, Dayne turns suspicious. It appears that Kat knows too much and the killer wants to silence her.
So, he places her under his protection, by appointing himself her private bodyguard. As the heir of a very wealthy family, Kat's actions are always monitored by the press and therefore she doesn't like the invasion of her privacy. She can't deny however, the mutual attraction between Dayne and herself. And also the puppy and Dayne's K9 seem to hit it off nicely.
Dayne knows he shouldn't get involved with a suspect or witness. But Kat isn't what he imagined her to be. Not the snobby kind as the friends who come over to her mansion and treat him like a lowlife servant. But surely, a FBI-agent and a wealthy beneficiary can't be together, can they? And there is still a killer on the loose. Although less explosive than Dark 'N' Deadly, it is a wonderful read. Full of twists and turns. Fastpaced and funny. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Kat was just trying to find Angus the puppies owner when she stumbles onto a dead body. The murderer wants something from Kat but has no idea what it is. Now Dayne is her self proclaimed body guard until the murder is found. Thank you for th ARC copy

Trap ‘N’ Trace is the fourth book in Tee O’Fallon’s Federal K-9 series. It is an action packed, romantic suspense novel involving law enforcement and their K-9 partners.

Grief and death bring wealthy socialite Katrina Vandenburg and FBI Special Agent Dayne Andrews together as they search to discover who killed their friends. But could trust, strong emotions and an explosive chemistry keeps them together as danger and their vastly different background surround them? Will Dayne and his K-9 partner, Remy be able to protect Kat from the monster that hunts her? Read it and find out!

I discovered Tee O’Fallon while browsing through netgalley for a new book to read and she is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. Her books have great, well developed characters and fantastic storylines that draws the reader into the passionate relationships created between the characters. Her books can be read as a standalone, but they are best enjoyed when read in order as O’Fallon often links characters and storylines from the previous books in this series. I can’t wait for book!

This is a voluntary review of a reader’s advance copy received from netgalley.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My first book by Tee O’Fallon and I will definitely read more! There was a kissing scene that blew my mind. The action and mystery were fun and kept me worried about what would happen next.

Katrina is an heiress and among her charities is an animal rescue in which she’s very hands on. She picks up a lost puppy and in the course of returning him discovers a murder. Later she walks into another murder.

Agent Dayne Andrews has the feeling both murders are connected and knows that Kat could be in danger after her experiences. He and his K-9 partner become her bodyguard.

They come from two different worlds, but both Dayne and Katrina are caring and down to earth people that want to help others. Both characters are great. Kat breaking out of her shell is both hilarious and awesome. Dayne is so confident in many ways that his small insecurities make him even more attractive. I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

This is the author's 4th book in this series, though they can all be read as stand-alone books. Dayne and Kat come from different worlds with him being an FBI agent and Kate being a billionaire heiress. But they find love and bond over dogs and the Yankees. On the action side of things, Kat has a tendency to find dead bodies, so Dayne appoints himself bodyguard to Kat. They find themselves being pretty happy in their bubble until Dayne does something stupid. However, it all works out after the bad guy does bad things and Dayne and Remy come to save the day.

I was given the chance to read an early copy of the book for review.

**I received a copy of Trap N' Trace from Net Galley and Entangled Publishing in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. My opinion was not solicited in any way.**

Trap N' Trace by Tee O'Fallon is the fourth book in her Federal K-9 series this is Katrina Vandenburg and Dayne Andrews with Remy his canine officers story. I have loved each and every one of these books but this one is one that I've waited for because Katrina is not the usual heiress. She helps raise money for Canine Haven which is the central business for all of the stories with the dogs who each have their own personalities. I'd give this story 10 stars if I could and I wait anxiously for the next book to come out.

Kat is returning Angus the puppy to Rebecca Garman to her but never expected to find her dead body. There's a killer loose who wants something that Ms. Garman hid and will kill anyone to get it even Amy a beloved employee of Kat's at Canine Haven. Dayne is called in to investigate the murder because Rebecca was his trainer at Quantico he doesn't expect to see Kat there or to offer to be her bodyguard while he searches for the killer. His partner Remy is very protective of the puppy also and will do anything to protect her partner and Katrina.

Dayne Andrews is mourning the loss of Rebecca Garman and never expects that Katrina would be the one to find her. But once they meet he offers to find the killer and protect Kat from harm but as the clues start to add up he'll need all of his friends to help find her when she's taken hostage. As their feelings grow he'll be in awe with her ability to lead the Vandenberg trust and companies and accept that he's not interested in her money.

Katrina Vandenburg's world is turned upside down when she finds a murdered woman. Normally she spends her time in business meetings and her canine rescue center. Now she has to face real fear and the nuisance of the press.

F. B. I. special agent Dayne Andrews and his K9 partner Remy don't usually get involved in a murder case, but the dead woman was a former agent and good friend. Later in the same day the case takes a very nasty turn and he finds himself acting as a bodyguard for a very misunderstood woman.

This is a very exciting romantic suspense / murder / mystery. Our hero learns his first impression might have been reverse snobbery. Our heroine makes a lot of changes in her lifestyle and finds out who are her real friends. The doggy characters are lots of fun.

This is part of a series of connected but stand alone books. I will definitely be reading more of them.

Katrina Vandenberg is having some bad luck. When she goes to return a lost puppy that was staying at her dog shelter she unknowingly walks into a murder scene but doing the right thing unfortunately brings her into the cross hairs of a killer. FBI canine agent has met Katrina before, but due to his past experiences his attitude toward the socialite is a bit rough. As he works with local police to find the killer he’s forced to readjust his perception of Katrina (just because she has money does not mean she’s uncaring). The tension and heat between the two is quite hot, although they try to deny their feelings as Dayne works the case and tries to keep Katrina safe. The whole murder twist will keep you guessing the whole way through. I love the interaction between the two leads and their canine friends and appreciate the fact that they don’t jump right into a romantic relationship, especially as they meet up after a murder so it does seem a bit more realistic. This is a continuation of the K9 series and you will see some familiar faces , although you do not have to have read any of the previous books to enjoy this one, although I do recommend them too. 5 stars. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review.

Trap 'N" Trace was a fun, easy read with good pacing and well described details about the FBI aspects. The romance was okay for me and even though it is a standalone, it felt like I might be more attached to the characters if I had read previous books where they were introduced. Especially with Kat, I got the sense that I should already know certain aspects of her rich-girl-dog-lover character. Enjoyable read, good for these moments when we just need a distraction.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun, exciting romantic suspense read. Plus, adding dogs to a book almost always makes a story better.

Dayne Andrews is an FBI K9 Officer (which I don't think actually exists - but I'm willing to believe!). He arrives on the scene after his former mentor is viciously murdered. Kat Vandenburg is an extremely wealthy woman. She discovered the body of Dayne's mentor when she stopped to return a lost puppy. Later that day Kat finds her employee at her dog shelter murdered and an attempt is made on her life as well. From that point forward Dayne acts as her 24-7 bodyguard.

Dayne and Kat are truly from two different worlds. Both of them have been hurt by people who should have just loved them for themselves. They are fiercely attracted to each other, but struggle with opening up to each other. They are a seemingly opposites attract - but as they get to know each other, they are more like two pieces of a puzzle.

I liked a lot about Dayne. He is an alpha guy - but not the kind you don't want to be around. He is just really extremely capable - and that is very very sexy. Kat is also fierce. She is a business woman who takes her role in her life very seriously and shows such respect for those around her - even when they don't treat her well.

This was definitely fun and very suspenseful. I loved the inclusion of dogs and both the leads. I wasn't in love with some aspects of the story that felt a little less believable than others. Kat's lack of security at her house seemed particularly unlikely. But overall, it was very enjoyable and very sexy!

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are my own.

Tee is a talented writer and I generally enjoy her books, however, this book was really tough to stay engaged with. There was a huge possibility for these two (Dayne and Kat) set for us in previous books - they already had great tension and I was excited to read to their happy ending. Instead Dayne came away flat and rigid and none of that tension showed up. Also, the killer seemed like a random choice and not threaded thru the story. All in all this book had huge potential and landed flat with me.
