Annie Rains continues her Sweetwater Springs series with this great Christmas story.

Granger is trying to keep the family Christmas tree farm profitable while raising his two young daughters. Joy is pursuing her dream of opening her own art gallery and classroom space. She agrees to help him over the holidays by watching the girls after school and hosting art classes at the tree farm.

It was sweet seeing their romance develop as they spent more time together. I liked, too, that Granger was supportive of Joy's art. I don't know if a Christmas story can get more magical than being set on an actual Christmas tree farm. It reminded me of a Hallmark movie!

Such a nice book!!!

This is the second book that I've read in the Sweetwater Springs series, and I enjoyed it. This is the story of Joy, an artist, and Granger, a single father of two girls. Joy is looking for artistic work to put toward opening a studio, and Granger finds himself without a nanny for his girls. Joy agrees to teach them art until the New Year, when she plans to open her studio.

This is a sweet, HEA novel, involving families, friends and pets! I don't do spoilers, so please read this book and take the journey with Joy and Granger. Its perfect to curl up with on a chilly fall evening. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

A thoroughly enjoyable Christmas romance! The townspeople were charming, the main characters lovely, and the Christmas tree farm setting magical. This was everything a reader loves in a Christmas book! It was feel good, festive, and absolutely lovely! I loved this book and the smile it left on my face. I was rooting for the main characters throughout and found them to be completely relatable. Highly recommend if you love Christmas books! My thanks to the publisher for the advance reader in exchange for my honest review.

🎄MY REVIEW🎄
Wow !!!! What a great story this was from start to finish. Annie Rains
has written a story and characters that are so captivating, so real, and so much fun that I read this book in one sitting! So get a blanket , snack , and a drink and be prepared to read this in one sitting because you will not be able to put it down.I stayed up all night just to finish it. I fell in love with this heartfelt holiday romance from the very first page. It is well written, and full of interesting characters that you will love. This is the story of Single father and Christmas tree farmer Granger Fields and Joy Benson a artist who is counting down the days until she can open her own art gallery. I loved every minute of their love story. Annie Rains brings these characters to life in such an amazing way. They are an amazing couple and so perfect together. They immediately capture your heart. I loved the growth that the characters made with all of the baggage from the past they had overcome. Although this is part of a series, and a wonderful addition to it Season of Joy can definitely be read as a standalone book. However, after reading this one, you will want to go back and read all of the other books in the series. If you love stories that draw you in and make you feel every emotion in the book, then
you need to add this book to your list. The whole time i was reading this book i was thinking this would make a great Hallmark movie. Will Granger be able to save his family Christmas tree farm ? Will Joy get to open up her own gallery ? Or will she give up on her dream and get the job her mom wants her to take ? Who will Granger choose ? His x wife and mother of his two rambunctious daughters OR Joy Benson ? Guess you will have to read and find out. It releases October 13th !!!!!!🎄🎄

I want to say Thank you to the author for the chance to read and review this amazing 5 star read for an honest review !

I received an ARC from Forever, Grand Central Publishing through NetGalley for an honest review. This book is inspiring because things had been going wrong in Joy and Granger's life but once they met, things began to change. Oh, it wasn't smooth sailing but it was a delight to see how things started improving, not only for Joy and Granger but for others as well.
The people in this story became my friends and the community spirit reminded me of Christmas seasons in the past. I loved everything about this book but what happened between Joy and her parents was a wish and a dream come true.
I hope you read this uplifting story that is not only the magic of the season but a reminder that life takes us to unexpected places and gives us unexpected feelings, and after reading this book, it will enrich the lives of those around us and might even make them stop and see things differently. Yes, there is magic in the air.

This is one of those books you curl up under the tree and soak in the holiday spirit with. Joy is an artist who has dreams of opening her own gallery but is still working on the funding. Granger is a single dad and owner of a Christmas tree farm that has a challenging season ahead due to a loss of trees. The two come together when Granger winds up short a nanny for his two little girls and Joy is able to help.

Annie Rains writes a sweet, warm holiday story. The characters are just so good and likable. The setting of a Christmas tree farm is perfect. There are many heartwarming moments that make you feel as if you've stepped into a Hallmark movie. If anything, it was slightly on the too-sweet side for me but I would say if you enjoy a good, clean, Hallmark-style holiday romance then this book is for you.

Annie Rains is a great writer and this book does not disappoint. This book is one in a series but works very well as a standalone. I'm looking forward to more from this author in the future.

Season of Joy by Annie Rains
A Realistic Christmas Romance, full of Family Traditions sprinkled with a Child's Wishes.
I do love the small town of Sweetwater Springs and all it's residents. This journey encompasses the magic of Christmas and the realities of life, meshing them together to make believers out of us all. Joy, a single artist, and Granger, father of two precious girls, find solutions for the both of them together, find time to fall in love, and face their pasts.
They get waylaid several times, but true love is worth fighting for. Of course it wouldn't be Christmas without some very adorable fur babies and many more surprises!
A sweet clean read to put you in a festive mood, maybe, even making Christmas trees and homemade apple cider, then relaxing to enjoy more Christmas journeys.
The Christmas Wish Novella by Melinda Curtis
A dash of holiday spirit tribute to Ebenezer Scrooge, when Everett (said Scrooge) gets caught up with Rosalie, and her all knowing St. Bernard, Remi. Such opposites attracting, there was bound to be sparks flying.

This was an absolutely delightful Christmas story which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I always enjoy reading romance stories but when it takes place at Christmas time, it's that much better:) Annie Rains has done an excellent job of writing Joy and Granger's story.

I adore Granger's character, he's such a wonderful father to his two little girls and I love his enthusiasm on how to save the family Christmas Tree Farm. As for Joy, she's such a delight with a big heart and is exactly what Granger needs in his life. Both have personal problems which complicates their relationship but oh what fun to see them strive for that HEA!!

I also enjoyed the bonus novella "The Christmas Wish" by Melinda Curtis, a very heartwarming story.

I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Sometimes tragedy can lead to a good thing. Single dad Granger Fields discovers this when the fire at his Merry Mountain Tree Farm leads him to Joy Benson. Joy and Granger make a great couple and great family with Abby and Willow. This is a super romance story. I really enjoyed traveling along with Joy and Granger on their road to a Happily Ever After.

I really love this cover!

Any time we get to return to Sweetwater Springs, you know it's going to be a great time and this holiday novel was certainly no exception. It was filled with wonderful characters, romance and plenty of holiday cheer.

Granger Fields is a Christmas tree farmer who runs the family tree farm with his parents and he's also a single father of two adorable little girls. This year things aren't going to be as they've always been due to a recent fire that claimed part of their tree inventory which means they are going to have to get creative at Merry Mountain Tree Farm if they are going to make ends meet this year.

All Joy Benson has ever wanted to be is an artist. The only person in her family that has supported her is her Aunt Darby. Her parents are both doctors and they would prefer that she get a "real" job instead of trying to make a go of her art.

When it turns out that Granger needs someone to watch his girls after school when their nanny is forced to retire, Joy becomes the leading candidate. It will help her to have some additional income to make her dream of owning an art studio happen quicker than it would have otherwise. As the girls begin to fall in love with Joy, Granger seems to be following a similar path. Will the hurt that both of them have suffered in past relationships cause theirs to fizzle out before it really begins?

Both Granger and Joy had things they had to overcome in this book, but the good news is they took that challenge and bettered themselves in order to be better for the other person. They knew it had to start with themselves. I enjoyed all of the supporting characters in this book as well; they were such a great bunch, whether we are talking people or animals!

If you are in the mood for some holiday cheer, pick this one up for sure!

The only thing Annie Rains does better than contemporary romance is holiday romance - and this book does not disappoint! I think Granger Fields may be my favorite male character that Annie has ever written. Even before this book, when we'd get little glimpses of him as a side character, he was fun, loyal, and endearing. He's those things and so much more as the lead! Granger is such a good father, son, business owner, and love interest - heck, he's just a good person all around. You can't help but root for Granger.

Joy is another fantastic Annie character. She's driven, loyal to those who are important to her, and driven to live her best life, even though she's still working on some issues to get to her best self. Joy knows what she wants in her professional life and is doing everything she can to get there, but her personal life is a bit of a mess. The good thing is she knows this and is able to work on herself over the course of the book. She and Granger work on themselves individually but ultimately really do figure out how to work on their relationship together. By the end I was so happy for both of them - they really came into themselves as individuals and brought their best selves to their relationship.

This book is also full of fantastic supporting characters - of the 2 and 4- legged variety - and really just makes you smile.

I love a good Christmas story year round. From getting into the spirit of the season around the holidays or just a mental break from the heat if the summer, stories like this always puts me in a good place.

I didn't come across Annie's Rains until last year and I'm glad I stumbled across her books. Season of Joy is her latest set in a comfortable NC community. Joy is an artist who dreams of opening her own gallery. Neglected as a child and recovering from a broken relationship she was not interested when hunky farmer Granger asked her to watch his daughters. He has his own problems, but has been attracted to Joy for a long time. I really liked these two as a couple. They were hesitant, careful, and played the we're just friends routine. I thought Grnager was way too nice when he let someone back into his family who had been very hurtful, it's a wonderful holiday romance that will set the holiday mood to romance.
