I've enjoyed both books in this series and especially the main character of Megan who has an independent streak in her. Unique twist in that she's an American veteran living in Ireland driving a limbo. Fast paced with plenty of twist and turns to keep it interesting.

Megan works as a limo driver, and finds a body on the golf green. Book starts out great, but slows down a bit in the middle. Still though, enjoyable summer read and one I would recommend.

I appreciated the dynamic and exciting start to this cozy, murder mystery. The intrigue drew me in. And yet. Somehow by the end of the book I was really struggling with the storyline. I think perhaps for me, just too many things were not what they seemed. It felt like there were U-turns as opposed to a deeper understanding from digging deeper into the characters.

Its not that the main character Meghan ( a limo driver) is unlikeable but somehow I found her role incredible. The professional, a respected detective, was on the fringe while she was in the thick of it all and located and assembled the key pieces to the puzzle. I also wondered why some elements (and characters) were included at all.

I love a good cozy, murder mystery so am sorry this one just didn't strike a chord with me.

Thank you to #Netgalley, Kensington Books and the author for My advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Megan Malone has done it again! In this second book of the Dublin Driver series, American expat, Megan Malone, has stumbled across another body.

What I love most about this book, and series, is the characters and setting. Ireland is my favorite place in the world and I love being able to picture the places Megan drives her clients to. I also like the fact that Megan’s background doesn’t make her come across as helpless. I don’t get nervous, like I do when reading most cozy mysteries, that she’s out of her element and the bad guy will win. She’s a badass combat medic! She can hold her own.

I also want to applaud the author for keeping the culture and vernacular Irish. I have read a few books set in Ireland and written by Irish authors that change words and sayings to appeal to a US audience. It makes the story so much better when you’re immersed in the culture and language it is set in. ❤️

I can’t wait for book 3!!

DISCLAIMER: I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

#DeathontheGreen#NetGalley. Since Megan has relocated to Ireland and started working Leprechaun Limousine her life has been filled with adventure. She is playing chauffer for world class celebrities, fostering dogs, starting a relationship, finding dead bodies and solving the crimes attached to them. Thank goodness she acquired the skills needed during her deployment to Afghanistan with United States Army.

The murders in this story revolve around the world of semi professional and professional golf. The inclusion of golfing facts was in my opinion interesting as well as helping move the story forward. The intrigue behind the scenes added multiple layers to the story. Those layers held my interest as well as leading us to the killer.

The use of local dialect and the landscapes of Ireland was refreshing. For me I t was like the country was a supporting character. If you are looking for a good cozy mystery this one is definitely for you.

I loved this book. It's fast moving with a likeable main character. Megan is a texan who now lives in Ireland and drives a limo for a living. She gets involved when the friend of client is murdered. I was hooked throughout the book. The ending is a surprise although I was hoping Martin was involved. #DeathontheGreen #NetGalley

Megan is living in Ireland while driving as a chauffeur. I love this character she is strong, independent, kind and curious.
Who knew there was so much drama with golf! Two men are murdered and Megan is on the case to catch the killer. In the process she protects two clients and looks amazing in a gold uniform.
This is a fun and different cozy. I am going back to read the first one and will be looking forward to the third.

Thank you Kensington Books and NetGalley for this free ARC in return for my honest review.
Very disappointed with this book. How can a super plot get lost in a bunch of characters I really could not care about and have one of the most unbelievable and convoluted endings imagined. The plot was good, a golfer dies with no apparent suspects and with no witnesses. From there we get into some interesting golf and family issues, but our main character, Meghan, who drives a limousine, just turns me off with all her side comments and holier than thou attitudes about men. The entire chapters about a wealthy client who dresses Meghan in a gold outfit are asinine, and so this book fails on so many levels for me. I have enjoyed many books with female detectives or female amateur detectives, but this one is a big Zero for me. Sorry Kensington, I usually love your cozy mysteries but this one is a clunker.

Megan is an American who has moved to Dublin after a long career as an army medic. She's working as a chauffeur and manages to get mixed up in 2 murders, Megan is determined to investigate and help her friend in the Garda whether he wants it or not.

Basing the book in Dublin is a nice change. There are plenty of red herrings and the characters are interesting.

Excellent mystery! Fun with scary parts and a detective who knows how to wear his clothes.
Megan is an expat American happy to be working for a limo service in Ireland since retiring as a medic in the US army for twenty years. Thing is, she seems to find bodies of murder victims and her employer is that put out about it. Very complicated plot full of twists, red herrings, puppies, giggles about word usage of the same language in two different countries, and bereaved women uncovering secrets. Like I said, excellent!
I requested and received a free ebook copy from Kensington Books via NetGalley. Thank you!

I did not really like this book. I don't know if it was any Irish words that were not explained but I didn't care for the swearing. The story kept dragging on and on and I lost interest several times throughout the book.

I received this ARC via Netgalley and Kensington Books, in return for an honest review. While the second book in this series, it is easily read as a standalone. I’ve enjoyed both books in this series very much and recommend them. Megan Malone is an American with dual Irish citizenship. She moved to Dublin after a military career as an Army medic and works as a professional chauffer, particularly for American clients. In this story, she’s driving a married pair of professional golfers who are in Dublin for a tournament. While walking the Irish husband, Martin Walsh’s, course, they find a body floating in a water hazard. Attempting to rescue him, she realizes he was dead before entering the water and he was good friends with Martin Walsh. The next day, she drives Mrs. Heather Walsh, a much younger American, to her match and literally stumbles over a second body as she’s returning to the car. Megan calls her favorite Irish detective in both cases and also undertakes to figure out whodunnit before she’s made the third death on the links. It’s a great story and I recommend it for the writing, the setting and the interesting diversity of characters. I’m already looking forward to the third book, due out in 2021.

Second book in series. Unique cozy mystery. The main character is a military veteran who has moved to Ireland and is driving a limo.
She seems to keep finding bodies. As usual she doesn't listen to her friend in the Garda. Megan tries to help when she can.
Megan and her friends are fun to read about.

Death on the Green by Catie Murphy was another enticing cozy mystery set in Ireland which got my attention from the first chapter.

I like Megan Malone and her independent attitude and caring nature of her clients. A well crafted plot, multiple suspects, so many twists and turns and descriptive writing that allowed me to feel as I was with Megan every step of the way. This was a complex mystery that kept me guessing not only about who was behind the murders but why they had occurred. I was completely shocked at the reveal which I loved. I enjoyed learning the differences in American language and that used in Ireland throughout the story which often added humor to the story.

Megan Malone is driving a married professional golfing couple while in town for a tournament. While walking the course with Martin Walsh, they find a man floating in the water hazard, Megan jumps in to save the man, only to learn he was dead before he fell in the water. Turns out the man was Lou MacDonald, best friend of Martin and no one can understand why the beloved golfer was killed.

The next day Megan is driving the wife, Heather, to her tournament and comes across another body. Doing her best to shield the couple from the media while also trying to find the killer, Megan has her scorecard filled with suspects and trying to link them all together before the killer strikes again.

The second book in this fun series brings the American Megan together with local Irish and visiting American characters and a trio of Jack Russel pups to solve a solid whodunit. Well written with characters you can hear the brogue and smell the salty air as you read. I’m looking forward to the third book in the series in 2021.
