This is a sweet Christmas story about starting over and finding where you belong. This book also shows that family doesn't have to be blood related...family is who you choose. I really enjoyed the small town, event packed Christmas that RaeAnne Thayne portrayed in this book. Wonderful, heartwarming story!!

I adore RaeAnne Thayne! Christmas at Holiday House is everything I love about her work. It was sweet, heart tugging, and emotional. I'm desperate for more!

This one was pretty predictable from the start, but I didn't care or mind at all. There was something about the book that charmed me, maybe it was seeing the house come to life with the holidays and as more and more people filled it up. Maybe it was seeing all the characters get out of the rut of their lives and take a chance at life. Either way this book was sweet and I loved how by reading it, it gave me hope that my life could change like these characters.

I’ve heard a ton of RaeAnne Thayne’s books, but had actually never read one before Christmas at Holiday House. It was such a sweet introduction to her works and reminded me of a Hallmark movie- sweet, somewhat cheesy, and completely wholesome.
A widowed young mother and her son visit Silver Bells, Colorado after her college roommate asks her to help look after her grandmother, Winnie. Abbie agrees and hopes to give her son the perfect Christmas in the winter wonderland of Colorado. Soon, she finds herself drawn to Ethan- an uptight, single businessman who she has nothing in common with.
Abby, her son Christopher, and the people of Silver Bells did ALLLLLL of the holiday things. They built snowman, decorated, ate cookies, went sledding, sang carols, and generally made me want to fast forward to the joy of December and Christmas. SO MUCH FUN.
I recommend Christmas at Holiday House to anyone wanting to transport themselves to a happier time and place. Four stars!

Christmas At Holiday House is a great start to the Holiday books for the year.
Abigail and her son, Christopher are headed out to start over in Texas when her former college roommate asks her to help look after her grandmother, Winnie who recently fell . Abby agreed to help until Lucy could get away from her job to come take over the duties . What she didn’t realize is how much work helping out with Holiday House And Winnie was going to be . While helping Winnie decorate for the upcoming festivities and fundraiser , Abby and her son both start to fall in love with the town and the people .
RaeAnne Thayne delivers a wonderful holiday story full of love , family , and friendship.
Thank you Netgalley and publisher for an ARC for my honest opinion.

I love RaeAnne Thayne’s books, and this one does not disappoint. We meet single mom Abby and her son Christopher. Abby is helping out her college roommate Lucy’s Grandma in Silver Bells Colorado. As Abby meets more and more people of Silver Bells, including Whitney’s Grandson Ethan. She is not sure if moving to Austin is what she wants anymore. Great plot. Of course Christmas is amazing.

There's something about seeing the Harlequin logo that has me one-clicking, ready to indulge in a great romance. And this author definitely brought me that. This story really got to me.

A very sweet Christmas book! It was cozy, warm and predictable. Just what I look for in a Christmas book! The setting was beautiful and the setting descriptions added to the cozy feeling of the book. The romances (yes, plural!) were sweet and moved along at a nice clip. This was a feel good book full of Christmas cheer! My thanks to the publisher for the advance reader in exchange for my honest review.

RaeAnne Thayne's warm romances are always satisfying. There are several entwined threads and brave characters who find life beyond hardships. A great way to get into the Christmas spirit.

Abby a widowed Mom of a 5 year old son Christopher agrees to help her friend Lucy by caring for Lucy’s Grandmother, Winnie, who has been injured in a fall. Ethan, Winnies Grandson isn’t happy. He is worried about his Grandmother staying in the big mansion by herself. He would like her to move to a single level condo, but Winnie has other ideas and can be very persuasive. This is set in a little town in the mountains that the author makes you feel a part of. I loved the characters and the story. There is a bit of romance in the story with a happy ever after ending. What more could you ask from a feel good Christmas story. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Abby is in Silver Bells Colorado. I like the name Abby. It's close to Thanksgiving. Snow is falling and Christmas decorations are up.Abby has a five year old son Christopher and is a single mom. Her husband Kevin was a doctor and was murdered.Although sad I love stories of widows trying to be successful and find love. Abby and Christopher traveled to help out her friend Lucy's grandmother Winnie. When Abby meets Lucy's Brother Ethan she is attracted but doesn't like his personality. I liked that Abby was helping to nurse Winnie back to health. Even if that wasn't the full reason she was there. I loved the characters. Nice clean romance

When Abby Powell is contacted by Lucy, her former college roommate, she’s in the middle of packing up her Arizona home to move to Texas. Lucy’s grandmother fell and needs assistance in her home until Lucy can get home from abroad. Abby agrees to help and heads to Colorado with her young son for a few weeks. When she arrives she meets her client’s grandson Ethan who thinks his grandmother should be at a rehab center instead of in her home with a stranger. Abby is in an uncomfortable situation but will stay until Lucy arrives.
A little backstory: Abby’s life changed in a heartbeat by an event that made her a widow. She has an adorable son and is looking toward the future. Lucy and her brother Ethan had an unconventional upbringing by two narcissists. That left them with a screwed up view of relationships and their ability to have normal ones. It was easy to understand and sympathize with them all.
Christmas at Holiday House is set in a charming mountain resort town during the holidays. It’s a heartwarming tale about finding the courage to not let fears stand in the way of happiness. Fans of contemporary romance and RaeAnne Thayne are sure to love it. Recommended!

A widowed mother, Abby, spends the holiday season helping look after her friend's grandmother who sustained some injuries in a fall. This is before Abby and her son are due to move to a totally new area where they do not know anyone. She falls in love with the area where she spends the holiday season and is sad they won't be able to stay there after the holidays. Or can they stay?
I always enjoy RaeAnne Thayne's books, and this one was no exception. She creates wonderful towns and traditions and makes you feel like you are there. Along with Ethan and Abby's romance, there was another romance going between Lucy and Jose. I either wanted more or less of Lucy and Jose's story, I feel like they deserved a book of their own.

I refreshing Christmas Story. Family and friends working through issues from their past to improve their future. Many light moments and it's a heartwarming book

This was my first book by this author. I am all about hallmark and Christmas and this book delivered with those vibes. Instead of having a dual POV, I was surprised to find this featured three POVs. The main two POVs you read are between Abigail and Ethan. I liked Ethan overall but found Abigail to be less appealing. There was a specific scene regarding sledding and her fear of heights. Personally, I have a huge fear of heights and don't even like standing on a chair - but am easily able to go sledding. For this reason, that scene felt unrealistic and a tad eye rolly.
The third POV was from Ethan's sister, Lucy. I actually found I liked her story the best even though it was featured the least.
I liked that the book featured diverse characters, from a latinx family, to a character with down syndrome.
Overall this book fell a bit flat for me, but if you're looking for a sweet holiday read with low steam levels then this one is for you!
Content warnings: loss of a loved one, violence (very little described on the page)

Christmas at Holiday House by RaeAnne Thayne is a beautiful written love story. Some of my favorite books are Christmas books. Ethan and Abbys love story was just beautiful. I loved the grandmother in the story she looked for ways to help her two grandchildren find love and it all came about because of Holiday House. If you love RaeAnne Thayne’s books or Christmas books you will love this story.

This is a wonderful, sweet and wholesome romance that readers will enjoy anytime of the year. The description of the house and the setting in the mountain resort town of Silver Bells, Colorado makes this a fun, interesting read. I really got into the description of the house and the Christmas-themed activities sprinkled throughout the story. The characters are fun and likable, while the conflicts that arise in the romantic relationships among the key characters kept me turning the pages, wishing and hoping they'd each get their happily ever after. I really appreciated the deeper themes the author examined, as well. Fear can be a real barrier to happiness and often humans (fictional and real) use fear as a reason to keep others out of their lives. As always, I enjoy reading a novel that celebrates the power of love to overcome our biggest obstacles. Fans of RaeAnne Thayne's novels will swoon over this delightful Christmas romance.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary copy. All opinions shared here are my own.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my review
What a neat book a couple of romances and a holiday story all in one.
This book sure shows how the home you are raised in can effect how you plan your life, two love stories that almost never happened here are the proof.
I don’t know if RaeAnne just writes with compassion but her stories make me feel so compassionate and oh the ending on this one just wraps up the warm fuzzies with a big bow.

Abigail is hired to care for a friend's grandmother who has fallen and is somewhat incapacitated. However when she and her small son arrive, Winnie really isn't in need of care - she's pretty feisty. But she would like help in decorating her house for the coming festival in town. The mansion is huge and requires a great deal of decorating but Abby is willing to do what she can. In the meantime, Winnie's grandson arrives. He is bound and determined to move his grandmother out of the old house into a safer place for her to be - guess who wins. A fun book, heartwarming and makes one wish that life could be that way for everyone.

Abby and her Christopher arrived at the holiday house to help to take care of Winnie, Ethan & Lucy’s grandma. Widowed 2 years ago, Abby is set to start her new life after her detour in Holiday House. She never expect she will be attracted to Ethan. Question is how is she move on after Christmas to the new life she planned for her and Christopher.
Lucy has been travelling around the world to help underprivileged children. Her childhood experience has convinced her that she is incapable to love. So much so she will walk away when a relationship gets to her. So why is she feel so devastated when she rejected Jose’s declaration of love?
Though the story’s main plot is focusing on Abby, I find that Lucy’s story are more intense and the conflict within herself make the storyline much better than Abby’s.
