Any time you are dealing with a special needs child it is a tough situation, and even tougher to explain to people how you feel at all times. It is such an overwhelming experience at times.. I have two children with different needs. I give Margaret props for writing this book and explaining her feelings along the way with her special needs child. While at times I was sad for her and the child, I was annoyed at times also. All in all the book is a good read. Thank your to NetGalley and the publishing company for allowing me to read and review this book. I would recommend it.

Kramer gives voice to feelings and thoughts that many would be to scared to acknowledge. Searching for Spenser follows her through her journey dealing with the struggles of dealing with a developmentally delayed child along with the rough twist and turns that impact many people.

We get to follow Spenser and learn from him how to focus on living in the here and now and the impact that he had on those around him - even readers who never had the opportunity to meet him.
