The third and final novel in the Bluebell Inn series, Autumn Skies is an absolutely wonderful conclusion to a beautifully written contemporary family saga. Continuing the family story while tying up the loose ends as the Bennetts look to the future, we encounter Grace’s romance in this last installment. Engaging and heartwarming, Denise Hunter knows her audience and creates dynamic characters that you love. There is an innocence or winsomeness to Hunter’s writing that is appealing, and yet her characters and storylines have a depth to them – scars and doubts and obstacles that all must be dealt with for any healthy relationships to occur – especially as truths are exposed that make heartache a very real possibility. Set in a picturesque small town that you’ll want to visit, this is another winner for Ms. Hunter, I’m sure.

This is the third and final installment of the Bluebell series. Overall, the series has been a little flat for me, and this one has been the same. I didn't think Grace and Wyatt were very likable and the chemistry wasn't there. I haven't struggled with survivor's guilt, so I may be way off base here, but I thought that was blown out of proportion a little bit. Grace thought Wyatt was going to hate her because she was able to get away from a bad man? That just didn't make sense to me and I found myself rolling my eyes at that point. I did finish it and it had a happy ending which is always a plus in my book!

Autumn Skies is the third book in the Bluebell Inn Series, following Lake Season and Carolina Breeze. In Autumn Skies, Grace Bennett, along with her sister, Molly, and brother, Levi, are making a success of running the Bluebell Inn. The three are finally ready to sell and move on with their lives, and for Grace, that means focusing full-time on her outfitter business, starting with finding a location outside of the inn from which to run it.
Wyatt Jennings is a secret service agent recovering from a bullet he took in the line of duty. He needs some down time before he can return to work so he can recover physically, but also to do some emotional healing. His search for healing takes him to Bluebell, to the Inn, and to the front desk where Grace Bennett is working. Grace and Wyatt both have healing to do, having both survived situations in which they lived because someone else died. Can they find healing together? Or will their pasts tear the two apart?
I really loved this story. I think that Grace and Wyatt are both interesting and likable characters. I like that they are seeking healing from trauma events in their pasts, seeking closure so they can move forward without the trauma continuing to affect their lives. I like that they were a strong and safe support system for each other. I appreciate that Denise Hunter writes cleans romance, and I appreciate the focus on faith in the story. I look forward to her next book.

Grace is looking forward to starting her own business and striking out on her own. She just needs her family B&B to sale and then she can finally start a new chapter in her life. Wyatt is on a mandatory leave of absence for the Secret Service and needs to get his mind right so he can get back to work. As their paths cross, they are drawn to each other not realizing just how intertwined their lives are going to become. I really liked Grace and Wyatt, the scenes with them together were my favorite. Ms. Hunter is great at writing conversations, building romantic tension and weaving in a unique storyline. Overall, this was an enjoyable read, a bit of a mystery woven in, but overall a pretty light read. I enjoyed the characters, plot and didn't want to put it down. Now, I just need to go back and read the first two books!

Book 3 in the Bluebell Inn series. While this is part of a series, it's also great as a stand alone.
I loved getting back with the siblings, Grace, Levi and Molly as they run the inn that had been their parents dream.
Wyatt is the new guest who doesn't know how long he'll be staying at the inn. And, is Grace ever so glad. Denise Hunter made it so easy to picture Wyatt in the mind. Quite the tall handsome, somewhat mysterious man.
He is there to get closure from something very traumatic that happened to him as a child. Grace offers to hike with him to help him find what he's looking for. They find themselves drawn to each other. Wyatt feels Grace is too young and innocent for him. Quite the surprise how both their pasts collide.
Levi is soon to be married to Mia, the actress, and they'll be moving. Molly is married and it is her dream to work in Italy. Grace wants a place for her outfitters business. The inn is doing great, all renovations complete, and it's time to list it for sale. Can they all really part with it? It feels like letting go of their parents.
It is is very sweet story. Except...for Christian fiction, there was too much detail in the kissing. "There were some mewls and groan and one or two very sexy growls before Wyatt drew away." While I realize this is real life, it is not what I expect to read in Christian fiction. I feel it was taken too far for the genre. I love Christian fiction for 'clean' reading with a Christian message. There was a small sprinkling of faith in this book. For those reasons, I was unable to give five stars.

Autumn Skies is the third book in the Bluebell Inn series. Out of the three this one was definitely my favorite. It can be read a stand alone book. There is enough background given about the first two books that you won't be lost. This one is the youngest sibling, Grace and her love interest Wyatt. Wyatt is on a forced leave from the secret service. He heads to North Carolina to try to reconcile something from his past in hopes that it will help him with his future. Grace has lived with survivor's guilt since her childhood when she narrowly escaped being kidnapped. She is looking to get the Inn sold so she can get her business off the ground.

I really loved this one. The attraction between Wyatt and Grace was instant and really adorable. I loved this couple. I loved their honestly with each other. The romance was sweet and very clean. I loved how they help each other work through their issues and to find peace. The other thing I loved about this last book was the way the Inn situation was wrapped up. It was a perfect ending. I highly recommend this one.

This was such a sweet feel good small-town romance. This is the third book in Denise Hunter’s BlueBell Inn series about the Bennett siblings. The previous books were about Molly and Levi, this time it is Grace’s story. And even though this can be read as a standalone I’d encourage you to read the previous books. The Bluebell Inn has now been completely renovated and is turning a profit. It is time for the siblings two sell the property they inherited after the tragic death of their parents. Molly is eager to head to Italy and start her dream BMB. Levi is looking forward to moving to LA to be closer to his famous fiancé. But Grace is content staying in the town she grew up in running her outfitter business. Wyatt is a secret service agent about to be promoted to the coveted position of guarding the president. When Wyatt travels to the Bluebell Inn for some much needed R&R there is an instant connection between Grace and him. But they are both very guarded dealing with past issues stemming from survivors guilt. Will Grace and Wyatt be able to find healing together or is the guilt to deep-seated?

I was really looking forward to Grace’s story, but I wasn’t quite as infatuated with this one as I was anticipating. I think for me a lot of it had to do with the fact that Grace is only 21, and I guess I didn’t feel as though she needed to find her forever love at such a young age. Therefore I didn’t feel any kind of urgency when it came to the relationship between Wyatt and her. Also she already owned her own business and was about to buy her own house, I just felt like she was growing up too quickly. This is probably the mom in me, but... I loved visiting the small town and the inn again. It was also really nice catching up on both Molly and Levi’s stories and the book was tied up nicely with a wonderful epilogue.

This is a great conclusion to this series and I can't wait to read what Denise Hunter writes next. The characters are engaging and it's great to catch up with characters from the previous two novels.

I read the first book in this series (Lake Season of the Bluebell Inn Romance series) so I desperately wanted to read this book (even though I haven't read the second book yet - it will come as I have it on loan at my library). This series is a clean, christian romance series that is really sweet and you can feel the emotions coming off the pages. In the first book, we meet the trio of siblings - Levi, Molly & Grace. These three are renovating a B&B that was their parents' dream cut short after they were killed in an automobile accident.

In this third book, Autumn Skies, the youngest sibling finally finds her true love. Grace is only 21 years old, but is far wiser than her age suggests. She has owned her own business for a few years now and she acts mature in many ways. When a handsome, but silent and brooding young man named Wyatt checks into the Inn for a few weeks, she instantly feels the attraction. But Wyatt keeps many secrets - some of which he feels would be devastating to them ever having a relationship. So they agree to just enjoy a few weeks together while he is in the area. Will Grace always feel like a 5th wheel at her family functions and will Wyatt finally get that long deserved promotion (and fulfillment in his life) he's been chasing?

This book was good - it kept my interest and the writing is enjoyable to read. I enjoyed reading about Molly & Adam in book 1; Grace & Wyatt in book 3; now I need to go read book 2 so I can read more about Levi.

I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Perfect read for a relaxing night in beside the fire.
Reads like a Hallmark, only better and with more insight into the characters.
This is the third in the Bluebell Inn Romance series and it’s probably my favorite of the three!

What a delightful conclusion to this sweet series.
I loved reading Grace's story.
Grace is the youngest in a sibling set of three, and this book gives her story.
Wyatt, a Secret Service Agent comes to stay at their Bluebell Inn, and they have some sparks between them almost immediately.
However, as is often the case in these romance novels, there are many issues they must face and deal with.

Grace and Wyatt are tied together in ways they didn't imagine, and this story is a sweet love story.
Filled with hope, love, redemption, and bits of mystery, I found it to be an all around fun, easy read.

I have never read a Denise Hunter book I didn't like, but this is hands down my favorite series of hers. I am probably biased, but fall in the North Carolina mountains is a spectacular sight. This setting along with such a well-written story helped make Autumn Skies the perfect conclusion to her Bluebell Inn series. This series follows the lives of three siblings who lost their parents in a car accident. They set out to fulfill their parents dream of running an inn. Each story centers around one of the siblings and this is Grace's story. Grace meets Wyatt, a secret service agent, when he mysteriously shows up at at the Inn for a much needed escape and there is instant chemistry. This book is perfect for lovers of a fabulous romance story, but the mystery lover in me was intrigued as well. For fear of giving too much away, you will just have to read to see what I am referring to and see how their story turns out. This book tackles some difficult topics such as grief and survivor's guilt, but they are all handled so beautifully. Although this can be read as a standalone, do yourselves a favor and immerse yourself in the entire series. You won't be disappointed!

Thank you to Netgalley for an ebook of this story. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

When readers first met Grace in book one of Denise Hunter’s Bluebell Inn series, she was in high school begging her older brother and sister to help with the inn their parents had bought. In Autumn Skies, the inn is succeeding and, a few years older, Molly’s new dream is to run a successful outfitters business.

For those who have read the first books in the series, Grace is a friend we’ve known for a while. She’s outgoing, friendly, and adventurous. At first glance, intensely serious, career-driven Wyatt doesn’t seem like he’ll be a good match for Grace. But once the attraction between the two sparks, it doesn’t take long to grow into a blazing roar.

While the romance between the two is exactly what I expected from Hunter, the mystery happening in the book was predictable. I figured out early on how Grace’s experience and Wyatt’s connected. But between the romance and getting to catch up with Molly and Levi, this series finale did not disappoint.

“A blush and a vehement denial.” Molly was studying her face. “Very interesting. I gotta get a load of this guy. I’ve never seen you react like this to someone you’ve barely met.”

In this beautiful conclusion to Denise Hunter’s latest series, Autumn Skies is a story of letting go of the past, finding healing, and the hope of a future filled with love. Grace, as the youngest sibling, is ready to break out of her shell. She wrestles with survivor’s guilt from an incident in her childhood, causing her to struggle with her place in the world. As Wyatt returns to Bluebell to grapple with his own inner demons, their friendship develops.
Oh, how I loved their adventures together from the wilderness to the dance floor. As they fell for each other, their journey of healing intertwined in a way that was beautiful, heart wrenching at times, and inspiring. Their chemistry leapt right off the pages, too. Wyatt has a charm that drew my heart right in for Grace, who always seems caught unaware that he is there. This leads to some humorous and yet embarrassing moments for her that had me rooting for her.

I really enjoyed seeing her family’s involvement with the Bluebell Inn, too. I found this book could easily be read as a standalone or as a series. Though the thread of faith is very light in this story, I found it was still rich with insight and how God can work all things together for good. If you have a fondness for romance and stories that conquer the odds, I think you’ll be delighted in Denise Hunter’s latest release from the Bluebell Inn series.

“You don’t have to do anything to prove your value. You’re worthy just as you are—just as God made you. I know you know that already. Just wanted you to hear it from someone else.”

I loved Grace's story and how it was about her finding her voice and figuring out her own path. Wyatt had me intrigued from the moment he was introduced and there's more than meets the eye regarding his story as you soon find out. I loved seeing all the connections play out and found the book had a good pace and wrapped up a lot of questions you had from the previous books. I always love reading Denise's new books and this one did not disappoint.

Autumn Skies is the third and final book in this series. I’ve enjoyed all of them. Three siblings and their story about the Bluebell Inn. I loved every page of this novel! This is the perfect way to end this series. This one tells about the younger daughter Grace, How she overcame her horrid escape from a kidnapper when she was just a child. Then we have a mysterious stranger to arrive at the Inn and seems to be hiding a secret. Grace becomes attracted to him despite his going out of the way to hide who he is…….A great love story that will keep you turning the pages to see how it will all end……Thanks to the publisher for an arc copy of this most interesting book. The words of this review are my own.

We were so excited for the conclusion to this series! We absolutely loved the first two books and the storyline for the entire series. Unfortunately however, the last book didn't compare to the first two. It felt very one dimensional. There just wasn't much depth to the story. A little mystery did keep us reading and was intriguing, but it still wasn't enough.

WOW!! What a fantastic end to a fantastic series! I absolutely loved this book. Every single page of it. The cover is beautiful, the setting is beautiful, the characters are perfection! I couldn't ask for anything more. The chemistry between Grace and Wyatt was palpable. Every bit of their story leaves you wanting more. Wyatt, is a secret service agent is so dreamy. He's a bit older than Grace and has a lifetime of experiences. He wrongly assumes that Grace's young age will make her naïve. But he quickly finds out that her sunny disposition has a depth that he was not expecting. Their relationship is perfectly paced to make you fall in love with the both of them. Do yourself a favor and read this story...after you've read the first two in the series. You will not regret it!!

Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Fiction for kindly providing me with a digital copy of this book for review.
Ahhh, I felt in very safe hands with this author. She calmly guided me through this gentle hug of a romance. Not to say that it doesn’t touch on past trauma for our romantic leads, and they don’t have difficult choices to make. You always feel secure though that our author is going to make it alright for them. I’ve read this book at the perfect time for me- it’s autumn outside (which I adore) but I’m full of cold and feeling fragile so I needed that fictional comfort. I will definitely be putting more from this author on my TBR.
