Captivates and delights:
Get comfy because once you start reading this book you won't want to put it down! This story takes place 2 years after the close of the last one and whilst it could theoretically be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the previous two as they provide context and insight, plus they are just fabulous.
I loved discovering Grace's story, which was more complex than I had been expecting. Wyatt has come to Bluebell to find closure regarding a family tragedy that occurred when he was a boy and in the course of investigating inexplicably finds a link to Grace's own traumatic event that still haunts her. I really liked the mystery and elements of intrigue and I was dying to find out how the pieces would all fit together.
This was a sweet love story and I really liked how you could totally feel the chemistry and connection between Wyatt and Grace. I loved the ending and found it to be a satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series. I'm going to miss Bluebell and these siblings!

Autumn Skies is an easy read full of likeable characters. Grace and Wyatt seem like opposites but have a lot in common as we learn more about them. The story was a feel good romance and just perfect for a cold Fall day. The pacing was good and I enjoyed every moment. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. I haven't read Denise Hunter before, but this book makes me want to go find her backlist of books.

(5 stars) - Two broken halves made whole

Grace & Wyatt have each been thru life-altering incidents that have left them with survivor's guilt.

Wyatt's has begun affecting his ability to do his job, which as a Secret Service agent is pretty serious. He finds his way to the Bluebell Inn, after he's placed on leave, and decides to stay there while seeking to find healing & hopefully closure.

Grace has been developing her outfitter business, but Levi & Molly are ready to sell the Inn as planned, and so Grace needs to figure out where to relocate.

All this change is looming as Wyatt comes to stay, and while he piques her interest like no one else ever has, her heart racing is because she's begun having panic attacks. There's more to this than we know. But she resolves to deal with it by focusing on others instead of herself - and doesn't mind that including the mysterious Wyatt.

I loved the way Wyatt and Grace just seemed to have this intuitive relationship with each other almost from the start, where they each understood what the other needed. Their relationship felt so real, and with this beautiful sense that Providence was working a miracle of healing thru & on them both

*Romance level: passionate kisses, nothing graphic, there's a mention of a past crime where a woman was raped & killed but the description is minimal with no graphic details

*Religion: Christian, but with only a very light touch

It’s a time of big change at the Bluebell Inn. The owner-siblings are planning to sell the Inn and move on to their individual dreams. Youngest sister Grace is the only one planning to stay in town in a new venture. When Wyatt Jennings books a room at the Inn he plans to stay for a short time and then return to work. Neither had planned for the spark of attraction they felt. It was fun to see their relationship take shape. They had more in common than they knew. With themes of loss, survivor’s guilt, and following your dreams, Autumn Skies kept me engaged and turning the pages. It was a one day read for me. Fans of author Denise Hunter will want to read this third book in the Bluebell Inn series. It’s the first one I read and I felt it could stand alone.

There are so many good things about this book! It is refreshing to read a book that has substance, and no superfluous, explicit sex scenes. The characters are all realistic, and very easy to like. There is a strong story line, along with with excellent descriptions of the scenery. I recommend this series to anyone who likes a good romance, along with a second storyline. Although this can be read as a stand alone book, it might best to read the series from the beginning. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed are my own.

I’ve loved this series and don’t want it to end. But, since it must, I can say Hunter has done a fabulous job with the finale. I’ve liked Grace from the start, and have been anxious to see how her story would unfold. And what an intriguing story it is. I thought this installment was darker, and the subject matter heavier, but it really did show what Grace overcame to be the spunky, adventure loving gal she is. I liked Wyatt Jennings and the transformation he had. He was a good man with a good heart, who needed closure in order to move forward. Together he and Grace set out to unravel a mystery that interweaves their lives, and in the process find a love they hadn’t been looking for. There are plenty of lighthearted moments with the other Bennett siblings, and Levi’s wedding to Mia Emerson is a sweet diversion. For me, Autumn Skies was about finding what’s important and overcoming the bad things that can happen to us in life. They may change us, and we may never be the same, but we can learn to see the beauty God has placed in our lives if we trust in who He is. I wish we didn’t have to say goodbye to these characters, but it’s a bang-up conclusion that I think you’ll be pleased with. Hunter consistently writes stellar books and this one is another five-star for sure. .

I was so happy to be back at the Bluebell Inn! I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and was so excited to finally read this one. I finished it in a day! I would anything by Hunter!

I think this book may be my favorite of this series. I really loved it- from beginning to end. The characters and the story progression felt natural and moved forward at a great pace. I was so invested in this story the whole way through.

Wyatt and Grace are two characters that are easy to like and easy to root for. I enjoyed them together and apart. Wyatt is cautious and conflicted and his story is more complex. His search for closure brings him close to Grace who struggles with some of her own demons. The emotions were real and even though I don't personally struggle with the same things Wyatt and Grace did, I connected with the way the characters were feeling. That's exactly what I want as a reader.

I've loved this Bluebell Inn series but again, this story was my favorite. It was nice to see Grace's sister and brother in this book too, keeping with the family connections present in each book. I loved how all their stories came to a feel good resolution. It was so well done. I think this book could stand alone but I would really recommend reading this series in order. These three siblings play a prominent role in each book and their stories progress in each even though each book focuses on one particular person.

Content: mild peril, mild violence, kissing. Christian fiction.

"Autumn Skies" by @deniseahunter was really good! 5⭐. I got a little teary-eyed reading Wyatt & Grace's story. If you love contemporary romance, then I highly recommend all her books. They are so good!.

Autumn Skies is the perfect ending to the Bluebell Inn Romance series, and I loved the way that Denise Hunter chose to wrap up each of the Bennett siblings' stories. I've been a little unhappy with some of the more recently published Christian fiction titles pushing the boundaries for the type of content that's included, and I can't even express how happy I was to see that this wasn't the case for this beautiful romance.

Grace and Wyatt's story is swoon worthy and emotional, and I especially enjoyed how much of it focuses around healing and needing to let go and let God. Even though the majority of the romance takes place over a short period, I never thought it felt unrealistic or like insta-love and instead felt perfectly believable to the reader. The plot twist at the end definitely shocked me, as I had in no way seen that one coming.

I have to say though, as much as I did enjoy Grace and Wyatt's story and a continuation of Mia and Levi's, my favorite part of this one ended up being the wrap up to Molly and Levi's story, and the way everything was settled once and for all with the beautiful inn they'd all come to know and love.

Overall, this one definitely met all my expectations, and Denise Hunter continues to be one of my all time favorite authors.

Final Rating: 4/5.

Thanks so much to Thomas Nelson for allowing me to advance read and review this!

What a great story! The Bluebell Inn has quite a history and I think you will enjoy learning about it and the people that are involved. The characters are strong folks who all bring something different to the table. I loved getting to know them. Grace and Wyatt are who we get to spend the most time with. They are both dealing with a lot of guilt. Can they help each other to work through their feelings? Get comfortable and enjoy Grace, Wyatt, Molly, Adam, Levi and Mia as they live their lives. I can’t wait to hang with them again. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

When I first started this series and I realized that one of the main characters was a late teen I wondered what her story would be like. Would we jump many years into the future, would it be any good, what, what, what????
Well to answer the last question first it is so much better than good!!!! Just a slight jump so our young heroine gets her story and it was beautifully done.
You get to know Grace better, meet Wyatt as well as catch up with the rest of the family. Denise Hunter did not disappoint in this book. I love that her writing style is varied yet always appeals to me. The characters are real, the flow of the novel keeps me engaged and delighted. The plot is not overly predictable. It's a romance novel so boy and girl meet, are attracted, spend time together, etc all there but I still got a few surprises. I really enjoyed this book.

Wow! I loved this story. Grace and Wyatt have an instant connection. They are both broken and looking for closure and I think that makes their bind even stronger. There were some intense times, some heartbreaking times, but also swoony times. I loved the connection and draw they had and that it wasn't all physical. They really connected on many levels. I read the first book in this series and enjoyed that Molly still had a part in this book. However, I haven't read Levi's book, but didn't feel like I was missing out on parts of Grace's story. So even though it's a series, I think this book could be read as a standalone.

I received a complimentary early copy from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest review.

Wyatt loves his Secret Service job - or he did until getting shot while on the job started him having nightmares about his mother's murder fourteen years earlier. When he is forced to take four weeks of leave, he decides to go and visit Bluebell, where it happened, to try to get some closure. There, he takes a room at the Bluebell Inn, run by siblings Levi, Molly and Grace. But the task of finding the actual spot based on childhood memories turns out to be harder than he expected, despite Grace's help. The more time they spend together, though, the more it becomes clear that there is something between them - and it can't work, because he has his security work, which takes him all around the world, and she runs a business in Bluebell. Will he get the closure he needs before his four weeks run out? And will they work out any way to make a relationship work?

I've read and enjoyed the previous two books in this series, but this might have been my favourite. I connected with both Wyatt and Grace from the start, and it was also nice to see more of her siblings and their respective matches from previous books (though it's not necessary to have read the previous books to enjoy this one). As always, the writing is good, drawing me in from the very first page, and the storyline with its hints of suspense in the gradually-revealed history of the two main characters is expertly crafted. Both inspiring and enjoyable, this book is definitely worth a read.

I couldn’t wait to read the last and final book in the Bluebell Inn Romance. I’ve been a huge fan of this series and the delightful romance flowing through the books.

This book is about Grace, the last Bennett sibling. I wondered how Grace would be since she wa the youngest, but she’s an old soul and I could totally identify with that.

Not only that, but Wyatt also is an old soul and probably my favorite Denise Hunter hero to date. I loved the scenes with him and Grace. Loved seeing them observe each other and esteem one another. There were so many swoony parts (first kiss, declaration of love, etc) and so many parts that had me either laughing out loud (Grace’s blunders) or wincing (Levi’s blunders).

I was very happy to with this conclusion and I’m sad it’s over. But I’ll definitely revisit these trio in the future for rereading.

Thank you NetGalley, Thomas Nelson and Denise Hunter for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
In July I had the pleasure of reading the first book in Denise Hunter’s ‘Bluebell Inn Romance’ series and loved it. Three siblings inherit their childhood home and their dream to turn it into an inn after their untimely death. Over the first two books we see Molly fall in love and marry, Levi fall in love and get engaged and now it’s Grace’s turn. Grace started the series as a 17 year old still in high school and in book number three we meet Grace again, as a 21 year old woman. The Inn is a success, so much so that Grace has started her own outfitter’s business and has dreams of expanding. The siblings have always known they would someday sell the Inn and suddenly it looks like that time is now.
Wyatt Jennings works in the secret service, protecting high level politicians. He takes a bullet for a senator and is sent home with strict orders from his boss: Screw his head on right or his chance at a promotion is gone. He decides a trip back to Bluebell, the small town that holds his worst demons, is what he needs to move on. As Grace helps Wyatt search the forest for what he’s looking for, they are soon baring their souls and connecting in ways neither of them expected.
Wyatt and Grace have that quiet, subtle chemistry that burns in the background of the entire book. Wyatt is guarded and calculated, his past and his career have both left him a little cold, but deep down he is kind and attentive. Grace is a sweetheart, loyal to her siblings with a dry sense of humor that helps lighten some of the heavier topics of this book.
This was the perfect wrap up to a heartfelt romance series that keeps things clean while teaming with chemistry and perfect love stories!

By far my favorite of the series.

Recommended.

What I liked: I really enjoyed the story question in this novel, the way the characters grew, and resolution of the series.

What I didn’t like: Once again the romance is quite rushed with the couple falling in love very quickly. The heroine was also very young.

Autumn Skies features the youngest Bennet sibling, Grace, the outdoorsy girl who has forged a path of her own, separate from her older brother and sister. She has worked hard and followed her dream of opening an outdoor adventure business in Bluebell, North Carolina and is in the process of buying a place of her own. Meanwhile, she is also working through some long-seeded issues from her past and striving towards personal forgiveness for guilt she has harbored from a traumatic event she experienced as a child.

Wyatt Jennings is in the secret service and after suffering a gun shot wound received in the line of duty, old issues resurface that are leaving him sleepless and unable to do his job well. He decides to go back to the scene of the long ago crime to try to make peace and find reconciliation with his past, so he can move forward.

The two meet at the Bluebird Inn where Grace is co-owner with her two siblings. Not only do they strike up a friendship as Grace helpfully guides Wyatt on long hikes in search of a particular destination, but something deeper connects them as well.

I admittedly love all of Denise Hunter’s books, but this one was not one of my favorites. I thought it was a tad dull and slightly repetitive in parts. It felt a bit too insta-lovey, and for whatever personal quirk I just didn’t connect with the characters as well, though both were admirable people. I found their conclusion to be somewhat abrupt, and though I understood the rationale, I didn’t entirely agree with the reasons. I did really appreciate the epilogue that so nicely wrapped up everyone’s story and brought us up-to-date on all three siblings. Overall, this was my favorite trilogy by Denise Hunter, and though not my favorite story, it was still a sweet one.

I have read several books by Denise Hunter over the years. All were gook, I liked them. However, I loved Autumn Skies especially the characters of Wyatt Jennings and Grace Bennett. While their meeting may have seemed coincidental, it is not short of divine serendipity. Also while Wyatt sees their age difference as a big deal, I could not. Big life experiences differences yes, but not age. Yet God was there in all.

Life is full of changes and these two have had some real tragic, life shattering ones. Now it is time at least for Wyatt to come to terms with his. This brings him to the Bluebell Inn where he meets the youngest of the grown Bennett siblings. Through Wyatt the reader is aware of the connection that Wyatt has to Bluebell Inn. Grace is busy with her own issues and changes to put two and two together as they talk. As their friendship and romance blossoms, the suspense builds.

While this is not romantic suspense as such, I’m betting Denise Hunter would knock it out of the park if she decided to write one. I say this because I felt the same, with the same questions, and wondering as I do when reading romantic suspense. I never saw the resolution coming. I was overthinking everything, such as was it important that Wyatt heard a boat at midnight. I kept thinking the truly evil villain was going to jump out any minute. What a read!

I have read one other book in this series but Autumn Skies stands out the most. It also stands well on its own, so don’t be afraid to read the third book out of order. Also it is the last of the siblings to receive her HEA but I am hoping it is not the last of the series. Ms. Della is one interesting character. I want to know more past and present of her life. Then Ethan needs a second chance. I don’t know Ms. Hunter at all but hope that she takes these characters into mind as she continues to write fine Christian fiction.

The publisher through Net Galley provided a digital ARC. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts.

Autumn Skies is the third and final book in Denise Hunter's Bluebell Inn series. While I do believe that this could be read as a standalone, I feel like the reader will get the most out of the book if they've read the series. Background information is given to some extent, but I feel like to really grasp what the inn means to the family and to better appreciate the characters, more is better.

That being said, this was a fantastic conclusion to the series. While I believe Molly's story will remain my favorite, this one certainly came in with a very close second. In Autumn Skies, the story focuses on Grace, the youngest of the Bennet siblings. I'd gotten to know Grace a bit from the previous books in the series, but enjoyed getting to know her a lot better. We are also introduced to Wyatt, a secret service agent who needs a little bit of a break and finds himself booking a room at the Bluebell Inn as he sought out a confrontation with his past. Sparks fly when these two meet...and boy do they fly, right off the pages! I loved their fantastic chemistry, and their story was intriguing and unique... and quite the message of how God can weave our lives together so beautifully for His good.

Overall, this was a fantastic read, and a great conclusion to the series... though I must admit that I enjoyed this series so much that I wasn't quite ready for it to end! Still, I know whatever Denise Hunter puts out next will be just as fantastic...and I cannot wait!

**I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher for consideration. All thoughts are 100% my own.
