I enjoyed the third book in the Bluebell Inn series. It was nice to see Grace a few years after the first book and see how she has grown.
I also really liked Wyatt. Learning his secrets and how they shaped his life and helped determine who he became was an added mystery to the storyline. Seeing how they were intertwined with the Bluebell in was also interesting.
Both characters were likeable. They had an immediate attraction, but I also feel like the author did try to develop the relationship a beyond immediate heat.
This is the third in a series. You would enjoy this story more if you'd read the prior two but you could get by with just reading Molly's story in "Lake Season." (Technically this is a standalone, but the story follow's Molly's point of view a few times and so you'd probably want to read her story first so you are familiar with her character.)

Autumn Skies, by Denise Hunter, will bring closure to her A Bluebell Inn Romance series. This latest tale will give you a glimpse of Grace Bennett as she attempts to get her outfitters company off the ground. You will yet again see interactions with her brother, Levi, and her sister, Molly; however, a new character will enter the scene!

Wyatt Jennings has come to town for some R&R. Wyatt has been working for the secret service; however, after receiving a gunshot wound on the job, he feels the need to deal with some trauma from his past. When Wyatt shows up at the Bluebell Inn, Grace does not know what to make of this quiet man whose eyes seem to follow every move she makes!

This is an interesting tale, as Grace and Wyatt get to know each other as they go exploring through the mountains together. Unfortunately, they both must deal with trauma from their past that will connect them more than they ever imagined. You will be interested to see how Wyatt's and all the Bennett's lives will change by the end of this tale!

I'm a huge fan of Denise Hunter's previous books, so I had high expectations going into this book and I was not disappointed. I loved this book. This was the final installment in a series and I have not read the other books in this series, but I was still able to enjoy this book.

In this final installment of the saga of the Bluebell Inn and the Bennett siblings—Molly, Levi, and Grace—Ms. Hunter with her expert storytelling skills has penned Grace’s emotionally rich, heartwarming, romantic story. Grace and Wyatt both need to come to grips with events in their pasts which haunt them with survivor’s guilt. Will revelations from their pasts and goals for their futures bring them together for healing and happiness or keep them apart?
Ms. Hunter excels in bringing her characters to life making them believable and relatable. The intriguing, fast-paced, faith-filled plot keeps you turning pages to find out how all the pieces fit together. Vivid descriptive imagery takes you to the scene and adds to the enjoyment of the read. Examples:
“…the frayed edges of night still clung to the woods…”.
“…he was wearing regret this morning like a neon suit.”
“Whereas Grace was like a balmy summer evening, her sister was like a whirlwind. And her brother a sudden storm front.”
Autumn Skies is a very satisfying ending to a beautiful, captivating, inspirational series, and I highly recommend it.

Denise Hunter absolutely cannot write a story that is not wonderful! And this one is certainly proof! I love the way she writes in word pictures and I can see the book play in my head like a movie.
This is the third in the Bluebell Lake series and a great conclusion. It is the story of Grace, the youngest of the Bennett siblings. As in the two books before, the other main character, Wyatt is a guest at the B&B that they own.
Grace and Wyatt share a secret that they don't even know they share. And that's all I divulge because I don't want to give anything away. I will say - just read it, you'll be glad you did!
And keep writing Denise!

Wow! What a fantastic conclusion to "A Bluebell Inn Romance" series! Autumn Skies tells the story of youngest sister Grace's story while continuing with bits and pieces from the previous two novels featuring her older sister and brother. While Autumn Skies could easily be read as a standalone novel, reading it as a conclusion to the series adds SO much depth and understanding to the novel. Besides, why miss out on Denise Hunter's earlier books??? Autumn Skies is an easy, clean read, focusing on Grace and Wyatt as each of them struggle with survivor's guilt while falling in love with one another. The story moves at a fast pace, keeping the reader interested and involved with every nuance of the well-written story.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in Denise Hunter’s Bluebell Inn series and highly recommend them all; but it’s official — Autumn Skies is my favorite of the three novels. I devoured this book in less than six hours, it’s that unputdownable! I love, love, love Wyatt and Grace. They have the best chemistry. Lightning strikes when they first meet and their attraction for one another is intense. I also enjoyed how well they work together to bring out the very best in each other. It makes them two of the most endearing characters I’ve read. What I love the most about this story is its discussion on purpose, specifically that we are each made by God on purpose for a reason. None of us are here accidentally. It’s a beautiful reminder in a time when things feel so purposeless.

Grace has been my favorite Bennett sibling since book 1. I’ve enjoyed her spunk and witty banter, and I’ve appreciated her inner strength and courage to follow her own path in life even when that path seems impossible or unrealistic to others. In this final novel, I loved getting to know Grace better, to learn her backstory and understand what makes her tick. I have to admit that her story broke my heart a little. It hurts me when people forget that their lives matter and that they’ve all been created for great purpose. My favorite moment in this story is when Wyatt — awesome, gorgeous, wise Wyatt — reminds Grace that God has big plans for her and that she is exactly where she needs to be to do God’s will. This one moment filled me with such hope and it soothed my weary soul. I, too, needed this reminder for such a time as this!

I am going to miss my time with the characters of Bluebell Inn, but I am leaving this series so grateful for experiencing such a well-written, engaging, hope-filled set of stories. If you are a fan of excellent contemporary romances, Autumn Skies, and the subsequent earlier novels, are well worth your time!

I received a review copy of this novel in eBook form from the publisher, Thomas Nelson, via NetGalley. In no way has this influenced my review. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.

In many ways Grace is an old soul, despite her 21 years of age. She started a business at 18, shortly after the death of both of her parents She also helped her brother and sister to turn their family home into the successful inn that her parents had envisioned. Now that her siblings have both paired off with spouses, she feels rather alone. She also continues to fight survivor’s guilt following a tragedy from her childhood.

Despite being a celebrated secret service agent after taking a bullet for a U.S. congressman, Wyatt feels insecure and alone. He is having difficulty coming to grips with having been shot and still hasn’t emotionally recovered from his mother’s murder when he was a child.

Wyatt and.Grace meet when he checks into her family’s inn while he attempts to find closure for his mother’s death. He and Grace are instantly attracted to each other, but both fight the attractions, since they realize that their lives are going in two completely different directions. Can two people who are both tortured in different ways help each other heal and find happiness together?

Another great read by Denise Hunter. This is a story about siblingsMolly,Grace and Levi. They have worked on the family inn and Grace is starting her own business as a outfitter, wilderness store. After the inn sells the story is mostly about Grzce.. Wyatt Jennings comes to the Inn to recover from a injury. Wyatt has secrets and as Grace and him become friends she decides to help him find answers and go to an important place in the mountains. They both feel an attraction. Will it make them closer and will they find the answers they need? Once again a great book by Denise Hunter. Thank you Net Galley for allowing me to read and review this book.

Autumn Skies is a contemporary romance novel written by Denise Hunter. It is the third book in the A Bluebell Inn series. It isn’t necessary to have read the first two books in order to enjoy this one, but I highly encourage it.

Summary: Grace has plenty on her plate. She is helping her brother and sister run the inn, and she is working hard to make a success out of her new outfitter business.

But when Wyatt Jennings shows up at the inn, she’s intrigued. Who is this mysterious man, and why is he so interested in finding one specific spot up in the mountains?

As Grace and Wyatt get to know each other better, they discover their lives are more intertwined than they thought.

Will they be able to help each other heal from the past, or will the past be too much for them to handle?

My Thoughts: I LOVED the first book in the series-it is one of my all-time favorites. And maybe this gave me too high of expectations for the second, because I didn’t like it as much. But, this third book was really, really good. It is a great conclusion to the series, and a wonderfully romantic read.

I hate when books are too mushy, and this book isn’t. It is the perfect blend of romance and a bit of mystery. I highly enjoyed it, and have loved following along with the siblings and their stories surrounding the Bluebell Inn.

I kind of wish there was another sibling so I could keep on reading the series!

Anyway, I definitely recommend this book. It was worth the read, and would be a great addition to any romance lover’s shelves.

I would like to thank Thomas Nelson for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my review. Thank you!

What a beautiful conclusion to this series. It can be read with satisfaction as a standalone, but you will get so much more by reading all three. This family of siblings have gone through a lot to reach the point where this story begins. The Inn is now beautifully refurbished and free of financial and maintenance issues. Yet, the two oldest literally put their lives and dreams on hold for youngest sister Grace. She has successfully established a growing outdoor recreation rental business, that is flourishing, though in need to nurturing to see it become the security she desperately needs. As the Inn is put on the market, Grace is navigating the new normal she will have to accept of being the lone-ranger of the family in Bluebell, NC.

A guest at the Inn provides some level of mystery and big sister Molly is intent on discovering all she can about Wyatt Jennings, at the same time seemingly interested in trying to set him up with Grace. Wyatt is in Bluebell to find closure for a life-changing event that happened to him there as a child, and Grace being the avid outdoors lady is set to help him. The development of this story had my turning the pages, and suspecting that this event would somehow tie the two together, at the same time hoping for the peace they both craved.

I received an eARC from Netgalley. This is my honest review.

This has to be my favorite of the series! What a great ending as well. Wyatt and Grace had so much chemistry! Both had to heal from post traumatic stress situations and then to see the connection of the tragedy they experienced. It was fun to catch up with the siblings from the previous novels.
Denise Hunter has been a favorite for awhile and I love the opportunity to read her books.

An extremely satisfying, romantic conclusion to Denise Hunter's Bluebell Inn series! I'm going to miss these characters and this town, but readers will love Grace and Wyatt's story.

Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down. Grace and Wyatt's journey was emotionally draining in the best way, and although there wasn't very much action, this story seemed to have a bit more suspense than some of Hunter's other books. The plot is a bit predictable, but Hunter has an amazing way with words and a unique storytelling ability that entrances and inspires the reader.

Autumn Skies is inspirational, romantic, and touching, perfect for any reader. Fans of authors like Becky Wade will not want to miss this lovely small-town romance. 4.5/5 stars

Whatever you do, do not miss out on the final book for the Bluebell Inn Series.

The youngest of the Bennet clan, Grace Bennet has finally opened her dream outdoor fitting business. But her joy is limited. Everything is changing so fast. The inn is selling and her siblings are moving away. Soon she'll be left all alone and will need to relocate her business away from the inn.

Wyatt Jennings is haunted by a secret past no one knows about and it's getting in the way of his job. Forced to take a leave of absence from his bodyguard duties, Wyatt heads back to Bluebell in hopes of confronting the demons of his past--if he can find the right spot that is.

With Grace acting as his personal mountain guide, Grace and Wyatt both form a bond that they'll both need to heal from wounds of the past.

I absolutely adore all of the book sin this series. Very well written and had me wanting more. I am a lifelong Denise Hunter fan and that's not changing. I dare anyone to pick up any of her book and not instantly fall in love.

I recommend this book for ages 16+ for some graphic content.

This was the perfect end to the trilogy. While this is a stand-alone, it was nice to re-visit characters from the previous books. This was the perfect blend of sweet romance and a suspense.

Loved this story about 2 sisters Molly and Grace and a brother Levi. They are selling their family's Inn as each of them has dreams. In this book Levi is marrying Mia and moving to California as she is an actress, Molly and Adam want to move to Italy and Grace is staying in Bluebell and run her business. In this story Grace meets Wyatt and their story begins. This is a GREAT READ,

Denise Hunter sure knows how to write a swoon worthy romance.

I was so delighted to return to Bluebell and the Bluebell Inn. Autumn Skies follows the youngest of the Bennett clan, Grace. She's young, energetic and naive. But when a handsome and elusive stranger comes to the Inn, she is instantly attracted.

Wyatt Jennings has been put on mandatory leave as he struggles with flashbacks. He drives to Bluebell, just to look at the summer home his family visited every year. Until the year that changed his life.

The chemistry between Grace and Wyatt is instant and intense. But Wyatt is a Secret Service agent and knows he cannot have ties. When Grace offers to be his guide through the mountains, things change. He opens up to her as he never has to anyone else. There seems to be a connection between them. And when they discover the tie that did bind them, well let's just say I was a little weepy.

Denise Hunter is such a skilled author, bringing all of her characters to life. Just because this is the third in a series, you don't need to read the others to appreciate this beautiful story. But I may go back and reread the first two. Mostly because I love Ms. Hunter's writing.

The story is good clean romance, with a twist of mystery. I loved it, and would encourage you to buy this book!

I received a complimentary ebook copy from the publisher, through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

“He gave a lazy smile that made her think of sultry summer evenings and moonlit kisses.”

Autumn Skies is a perfectly satisfying conclusion to Denise Hunter’s Bluebell Inn series. Denise Hunter has been one of my favorite contemporary romance authors for years, and she continues to create amazing stories with handsome swoon-worthy heroes and beautiful messages of faith that consistently find a place among her readers’ favorites.

A handsome, confident, and humble Secret Service agent meets a young innkeeper starting up her own outfitter business. Both Wyatt and Grace have traumatic issues from their past and guilt from their experiences when an opportunity for love and healing presents itself unexpectedly.

This book can be easily be read as a standalone, but you will want to go back and read the first two books in the series to find out more about this wonderful family. I love how Grace’s older siblings Molly and Levi continue to play a role in Autumn Skies.

Autumn Skies is very highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance, especially readers who have enjoyed books by authors such as Courtney Walsh and Becky Wade.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
