I was soooo sad to see this series end. I loved the sisters (couldn't stand Levi in any of the installments) and loved all of their stories, but Grace was my favorite.

Denise Hunter has a way of bringing you right to the center of a story and make you believe that you actually know these people.

Autumn Skies is a delightful and satisfying conclusion to Denise Hunter's Bluebell Inn Romance series. The characters are likable and easy to root for. The hero is super swoon-worthy and Denise Hunter fans will sigh over this well-crafted romance. I thought the subplot of survivor's guilt and the deeper theme exploring whether (or not) a survivor is deserving of a happy, meaningful life was interesting. Although finishing the last book in a series is a bittersweet moment, I found this inspirational romance to be a fitting finale.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary copy. All opinions shared here are my own.

Autumn Skies kept the pages turning and I fell more in love with the characters as the chapters flew by. This third and final installment of the Bluebell Inn series works completely as a standalone novel. However, it's a great end to a lovely trio of highly recommended books.

Finally, after Grace leapt on to the pages in Lake Season, the youngest of the Bennetts gets her own story. Now 21, Grace is contentedly helping run the inn, and preparing it for sale, while building her outfitting business.

Her orderly routine is completely disrupted when she walks into reception and sees Secret Service agent Wyatt Jennings, looking for a place to stay. Little does Grace realize that the encounter will change both their lives forever.

Autumn Skies is a cleverly woven tale of self-forgiveness, survival against insurmountable odds, and the power of love. I liked Grace and Wyatt tremendously, and thoroughly enjoyed watching them fall in love at the most inconvenient time.

The Bluebell Inn series has made me wish to spend every vacation in North Carolina, as Hunter makes the small town location every bit as much a part of the book as the living characters.

I'd highly recommend a visit from between the pages.

The third and final book in the Bluebell Inn series; this one is set a few years after book two. Youngest sister Grace Bennett is now an adult with a growing business. When Wyatt Jennings enters the Inn looking for a place to stay, she is surprised by her almost instant attraction - and connection - to him. Wyatt is not there to simply visit the town - he is trying to solve a mystery that has plagued him since childhood. He is sure that uncovering the mystery surrounding this trauma will release the difficult emotions that are plaguing him now...but will they?

Grace is dealing with the memories of her own childhood trauma (which I struggled with; I did not feel this topic was fleshed out enough or even fully made sense to the character). I had trouble with the timeline and wish there was a way to make the character's progressions less noticeable. I did love seeing the transition of Grace as she gained confidence as an adult, focused on growing her business, coming into her own, etc.

I was slightly baffled why no one connected the dots on Wyatt's family...I know Jennings may be a relatively common name, but the siblings know so much about their house/the town and it's history, it seemed strange - like an obvious question that was never asked.

Overall, this was a great series. IMO these are not standalone books, so if you haven't read the first two you will be better off to start there. I am glad to recommend this entire series and author.

In this final book of the Bluebell Inn trilogy, we read Grace and Wyatt’s story. Both are dealing with survivor’s guilt, trying to move forward with life. This is an heartwarming story of recognizing and moving past that guilt, of learning to lower those walls to allow another person in, to love. Touching, very emotional, a wonderful wrap-up of the Bennett siblings and their journeys to their happily ever afters. I’ve enjoyed these visits to Bluebell - a wonderful series!

“Autumn Skies” is one of my top three favorites of author, Denise Hunter. Very entertaining, and plenty of romance and adventures. Your chores may have to wait while you read one more chapter. This is the third book in the series, A Bluebell Inn Romance, but it is also a stand alone book. You can read it and still go back and read the other two which you will want to do. You will enjoy watching the relationship grow between Wyatt and Grace and start to understand the tragedies from each of their childhoods. Hopefully this will be made into another movie!

Denise Hunter's, Autumn Skies, is a wonderful ending to her Bluebell Inn series. This last novel focues on the youngest Bennett sibling, Grace. As Grace deals with a painful past, she encounters someone who shares a very similar heartache.; Wyatt Jennings. As the story unfolds and the paths of Grace and Wyatt become intertwined, the reader is provided with a sweet, precious novel. Autumn Skies is a lovely, clean romance about family, healing and love. The books in the series should definitely be read in order, but they are all wonderful reads so it is definitely worth the time!

Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter is the third and final book in the Bluebell Inn Series. You can read it as a standalone but you would miss out on two other great books, which tells the story of the first two Bennett siblings who run the Bluebell Inn which is located near the Blue Ridge Mountains.
When I see a book written by Denise Hunter, I want it the first day it is available. This book is one of my favorites. I could not wait to see how it ended but didn’t want it to end!
Grace, the youngest of the Bennett siblings, loves running the Inn with her brother, Levi, and sister, Molly, but she is ready to sell and open her own outfitters business.
Wyatt is an injured secret service agent who is forced to take a leave of absence from his work. He goes to the Bluebird Inn, which was at one time his home, to try to make peace with his painful past.
Grace takes Wyatt on a guided tour up the mountain and their love story begins.
I love how Denise includes the conclusion to Molly and Levi’s stories and how their family loves and takes care of each other.
Autumn Skies is a great Christian story of love and healing that I highly recommend.
I thank NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for allowing me to read and give an honest review.

One word—swoony. Grace and Wyatt are just about the perfect romance characters, but the story remains clean and sweet. Add in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a family inn, and some healing, and you have the perfect novel. Highly Recommended.

First I love all of Denise's words and this trilogy was fantastic. Grace is spunky, independent, and kind. Wyatt is an intense secret service agent. Both of them are dealing with childhood trauma. Grace has survivors guilt. Wyatt is trying to get to the other side of his tragedy and reclaim his life. They both want to find closure with their past. Wyatt clicks with Grace and he wants her alongside him for this journey. Being with Grace soothes his soul. They bring peace to each other. Denise totally brings these characters and places to life. I cannot express my love for this trilogy. I would recommend any of Denise's books for anyone who loves character driven stories with wonderful faith messages and romance.

Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter is a beautiful book. It is the third and final book in a series about three siblings. The characters are charming and the plot is engaging. I highly recommend this delightful series!

Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter was a delightful story about the last sibling at the inn. This time around it was Grace's story. Before in the other two installments, she was younger. In the first one, I believe, she was still in high school. Now she is twenty-one and wanting to seek out on her own. It was interesting to see her personal sparkle on the page. She is definitely different than her older siblings that appear to hurt more over the lost of their parents than Grace did. I liked seeing both returning siblings and their spouses. Another wedding. The hero of Wyatt was the typical male protector hero who wanted to protect Grace and love on her once he found out he honestly had feelings for her. The plot moved at a nice pace. The romance was predictable, but I enjoyed seeing these siblings interact. Overall, Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter is just what fans of contemporary romance want in their stories. Romance. Check. Conflict. Check. Interesting characters. Check. Nice secluded setting. Check. A must read for fans of Hallmark movies.

A very satisfying read and, sadly, the last of the three Bennett siblings’ stories, “Autumn Skies”, by Denise Hunter (Thomas Nelson), is also a very well written love story between two young yet mature people.
The balance between romance and mystery is wonderful as is having characters with backgrounds giving them vulnerability and depth one wouldn’t expect in such young people. Trauma, loss and guilt made Wyatt and Grace grow faster.
Denise Hunter’s heroes are refreshingly solid and devoted to her heroines and Wyatt is no exception. The intensity, guardedness and the enigmatic almost smile make him an arresting hero. I just thought that Wyatt might be too young to have such a working experience and expectancies and that the career change by the end could be a bit more problematic.
Grace is a marvelous heroine, too: strong, determined, yet genuine and still innocent
Denise Hunter’s storytelling is excellent, her writing style smooth and fluid. As usual, it was a pleasure to read Grace and Wyatt’s story and to meet again the Bennett siblings and his love interests, particularly the swoony Adam Bradford.

Once again, we join the Bennett siblings at their Bluebell Inn for this final installment to the series. Now, we focus on Grace, the youngest of the siblings, who is trying to get her outdoor outfitters business off the ground, as the siblings prepare to sell the inn and move on with their lives. When Wyatt Jennings comes to visit the inn, Grace is drawn to him and his mysterious search in the nearby mountains. Their lives are so different and headed in different directions, though, what could even come of a relationship?

I have enjoyed this tale of the Bennett siblings, and their mission to run the inn their parents never got to see come to fruition. I like seeing their interactions as their lives change, and they find their matches, and try to adjust their family expectations. Grace and Wyatt's story was perhaps not my favorite of the 3 books, but it was good to see the family again and have a sense of where they're all headed from here. I missed the extra side characters in this portion of the story, however, it was much more centered on the main two characters than the previous books were, and I felt like that left the story a little flat.

I give this book 3 stars, but overall the series would average higher than that as a whole, and if you read the first two, you should certainly finish it out!

Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter is the third book in the Bluebell Inn Romance series. It is awesome. I found myself looking up at the clock and realized I had been reading for hours. This book features the youngest sibling, Grace. She is young but very mature for her age and she finds herself very attracted to their newest guest at their inn. He is a handsome Alpha male type, but yet super sweet and attentive too. There is definitely romance, but a bit of mystery as well. The kisses were toe curling and the ending was perfect.
*I was given a copy of this book by Thomas Nelson and this is my honest opinion.

Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter is perfection! It hit all the right notes and provided everything I look for in a book, a terrific plot, interesting characters and a toe-curling romance!

I really enjoyed the return trip to the Bluebell Inn in this third book of the series. Hunter really outdid herself with Grace and Wyatt's story. I love that their were complete opposites in personality and life experiences, yet had more in common than they could've imagined. The chemistry between these two, and their subsequent romance, was the best I've read this year, a total ten!

The plot was unique and although it held a bit of tragedy, the bonding that occurred because of it made for a strong storyline. There was also a good bit of humor. Anytime an author can combine serious subjects with witty banter during the process it's a win for the reader. Hunter pulled that off perfectly!

Hunter provides some beautiful imagery throughout the story, "Soon the color would trickle downhill until the entire valley was a riot of color, stretched out beneath the autumn skies and reflected in the glassy waters of Bluebell Lake."

I could not have loved the epilogue of Autumn Skies more! Denise Hunter has always been one of the best writers when it comes to romance and Autumn Skies is a classic example why she is such a fan favorite. I can hardly wait for her next book! Many thanks to Thomas Nelson Fiction for a complimentary copy of Autumn Skies. All thoughts and opinions are my very own.

After reading the first two books in this series, I looked forward to the final one, and I really enjoyed it. You could read it by itself, but you’ll enjoy it more if you’ve already read Lake Season and Carolina Breeze before you read this one.

I loved the setting, the characters, the mystery subplot, and the swoon-worthy romance. Each sibling’s romance is different enough that it was fun to see how Grace’s would turn out. I appreciate that the characters have to mature and learn new things as the book progresses. This is not a shallow, flighty story – there’s good depth in emotional and spiritual ways. And of course, there are plot twists to make things interesting.

A perfect ending to a really good trilogy. I loved every character and wish their stories would continue, but the trilogy ended on a high note. Excellent summertime reading.

I've loved this series since the beginning, first with Molly's story and then Levi's, but Grace's story is definitely my favorite.

First, I loved to see Molly and Levi still involved and participating. The siblings decide to sell the inn, which was always the end goal. Molly and Adam have plans to go to Italy, Levi is marrying Mia and then moving to CA, and Grace will stay in town and work on expanding her business. Everything seems to be on target for their goals.

Wyatt is a secret service agent and, after taking a bullet for a senator, he's mentally not doing as well as before. His boss orders him to take four weeks off, and Wyatt goes back to Bluebell, where his family used to vacation. It was also the place where his mom was murdered.

When Wyatt arrives at the inn, Grace finds herself attracted to him and he feels the same. He plans to find the place in the mountains where his mom died, and Grace offers to help him, even though she doesn't know the true reason.

Seeing these two become friends and fall in love was an absolute treat. Wyatt helps Grace through her panic attacks and she helps hike to the places in the mountains.

The connection they discover to each other's past was quite the revelation.

I love this story and highly recommend the trilogy.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this my honest opinion.
