Autumn Skies demonstrates why I keep returning to Bluebell Inn! The siblings are all settling into their lives and it is wonderful to see Molly and Levi blossoming. Now, it’s Grace’s turn and I was not disappointed with her story. Grace is determined to stay in Bluebell and continue running her outfitters business. Wyatt needs a respite and some closure. Their stories are more intertwined than they realize, and I loved the chemistry that draws them together. A richly satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own, freely given.

This book was amazing, Denise Hunter knows how to write and she saved the best for last, wrapping up the Bluebell Inn Series and the stories of the three siblings. This story focuses on Grace, the youngest and Wyatt a burnt out secret service agent. As the siblings are getting ready to sell the Inn and move on with their lives, handsome, mysterious Wyatt arrives at his childhood vacation home wanting to look into a decades old murder. Grace who wants to continue with her outfitters business can't stop thinking about Wyatt. This book! Oh this book kept me up until 3am but it was so worth it. Loved these two characters could totally see this as a TV movie. Bravo! This is going on my "keeper" shelf.

When a mysterious man turns up at Grace’s family-run inn, it’s instant attraction. But she’s already got a lot on her plate: running the Bluebell Inn, getting Blue Ridge Outfitters off the ground, and coping with a childhood event she’d thought was long past.

A gunshot wound has resurrected the past for secret service agent Wyatt Jennings, and a mandatory leave of absence lands him in Bluebell, North Carolina. There he must try and come to grips with the crisis that altered his life forever.

Grace needs experience for her new outfitters business, so when Wyatt needs a mountain guide, she’s more than happy to step up to the plate. As their journey progresses, Grace soon has an elusive Wyatt opening up, and Wyatt is unwittingly drawn to Grace’s fresh outlook and sense of humor.

There’s no doubt the two have formed a special bond, but will Wyatt’s secrets bring Grace’s world crashing down? Or will those secrets end up healing them both?

A great conclusion to A Blue Bell Inn Romance. Each book can be read independently but it would be helpful to read them in order to get the back story of the siblings. Wyatt is trying to bring closure to the death of his mother that happened years ago. He was a child when it happened and was there when she was killed. He thinks it's fault since he didn't do anything to stop it. Grace and Wyatt try to find the spot it happened at. Grace has secrets of her own. Unbeknown to her, her secret is connected to Wyatts.

There's no great mystery in the book. But it is a good clean romance with a tad of mystery thrown in. This is a great cozy read and I recommend it.

I was given this book by Thomas Nelson Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.

“Reading people was part of Wyatt Jennings’s job, and judging by the look on his boss’s face, the news wasn’t good.” - Opening line of “Autumn Skies” by Denise Hunter

Having thoroughly enjoyed “Lake Season”, and “Carolina Breeze, it was with eager anticipation I opened “Autumn Skies”, the final book in the Bluebell Inn Romance series. Denise Hunter delivers a cozy romance mystery like none other! I love spending time with these characters in this town, each carefully created, warm and sincere.

We finally get to hear Grace’s story and she is both delightful and complex. She is struggling to accept her future as her siblings plan to leave Bluebell Inn. Though it was always the plan, Grace is concerned she will be lonely in their absence. A childhood trauma taints her ability to accept herself and she struggles with worthiness.

Secret service agent, Wyatt, arrives in Bluebell to investigate a mystery in his past. Trauma clouds his memory and he hopes revisiting the scene will jolt him into recalling key details. In putting the past to bed, he hopes to find a purpose and acceptance in his future.

Bluebell Inn is Wyatt’s former home and so, in staying there, he connects with Grace and hires her to help him navigate the area. The two go on an adventure in the wilderness, discovering more about themselves and each other. Whilst the mystery is sad, the combination of Wyatt and Grace is full of humour. They encounter all sorts of challenges and have to draw on each other’s strength and faith to get through it.

It’s with the first two in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and highly recommend it! It’s a five out of five on the enJOYment scale.

I have been asked for an honest review on this book. This is my first Denise Hunter book and I did like this story, but for me it was very slow to get into and I think it was because I did not read the first two books in the series. It was 2/3rd of the book before I really began to enjoy the book. I took days to read this book. I stopped and started it several times. I give this book 3.5 Stars.

I did not like Grace at first, but she grew on me. Wyatt to me was very closed off about what he was really doing in Bluebell and who he really was. His back story was very interesting. The emotional side to this story was heart wrenching and you felt for both Grace and Wyatt at what happened to them in their past. I liked the sibling factor in the book and how the three worked together to build the Inn from what their parents started. That was a good part of the book.

Thank you to the author and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Autumn Skies
Denise Hunter
October 20, 2020

This is the third of Denise Hunter’s Bluebell Inn series. In Lake Season Levi, Molly, and Grace lost their parents to an auto accident. The Bennetts had just decided to refurbish their huge country home back into the inn it had been at one time. In this original book the trio decided to continue with their parents' wish. It wasn’t easy but with problems throughout the rehab. Molly met Adam the man of her dreams. In Carolina Breeze, the inn was ready for guests and it was consistently booked. Within the story Levi met Hollywood actress Mia and by the end of the book they were engaged. In Autumn Skies we find Hunter wrapping up her Bluebell series with thoughts of selling the inn. The siblings, now adults, have decided to return to their careers. Levi was moving to LA with Mia. He had job offers in construction management and Mia would resume acting. Molly and Adam, now married, hoped to move to Italy so Molly could find an inn to refurbish and bring back to life. Adam, being a writer could work from anywhere. Grace, now 21, decided it would be no college for her. She hoped to open a recreational store in Bluebell. She hoped to rent out bicycles, canoes, boats and hiking equipment to tourists in the area. Once established, she planned to add mountain touring as she knew the area and was an established backpacker.
While Grace was manning the desk, a very good looking man entered the inn. He hadn’t a reservation but was hoping there would be a vacancy. Fortunately there were rooms so once checked in Grace took the opportunity to show him around the inn. What Wyatt had not disclosed was that he was a secret service rep taking a mandatory vacation. He and his boss felt he needed time to figure out his problems with nightmares and frightening memories recurring from his childhood. He had lived in the inn when his father was Governor. Wyatt did not disclose this info to anyone. He had hoped walking the mountain areas where he grew up would put closure to his flashbacks.
I truly enjoyed this entire Bluebell Inn series. Each novel was pleasant and warming. Hunter’s characters became more cherished in each book. Thomas Nelson Publishing will publish Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter on October 20, 2020. I appreciate Nelson’s allowing me to read and review this latest Hunter novel. She is adept at writing warming stories that the reader enjoys and doesn’t want to put down. Once again Autumn Skies is an outstanding choice. Read and enjoy!

This was such a feel good book. I enjoyed the characters. I loved Grace & Wyatt's story. You could actually feel the sexual tension between the two. They fought through their demons and guilt and found strength from each other. The Bennett family, the Bluebell Inn, just everything about this book was great. A true love story. I did not read any of the books prior to this so it does stand alone with no problem. I would definitely recommend this book

Thank you to #Thomasnelson and #netgalley for an ARC of this book

I am a tremendous Denise Hunter fan, but new to her Bluebell Inn series. Having now read the third book in the series and met Grace’s other siblings, I need to go back and read their stories as well.

Autumn Skies was a delightful weekend escape!
I was enchanted by Bluebell Inn and the story of Grace and Wyatt. Both carry secrets that have them searching for closure. That closure may come with a price that neither is prepared to pay. I love that Denise weaves mystery and healing into the pages of this story.
This book does not disappoint Denise Hunter fans!

Autumn Skies has all the makings of a future Hallmark movie: incredible chemistry, sweet small-town charm and loving family ties. I've never read Denise Hunter before but her story style closely resembles Hallmark. And that's a good thing! For someone who rolls her eyes at the corny, hour-and-a-half cookie cutter movies, I really Grace and Wyatt's story. Yes, it's predictable, but some days, you just need that book that'll pick you up, you know it'll end amazingly and everyone (including you) is left sappy at the happily-ever-after.
Now let me say, this book is heavily dosed in romance. Wyatt's search takes a bit of a backseat to all the chemistry flowing between these two lovebirds. Molly's desire to keep the inn for herself is obvious to us readers, but not to Molly yet. And Grace is so relatable. I'm so happy to see a less-experienced, fumbling, clumsy heroine (I promise I'm not like this AT ALL...) with insecurities that I'm sure many younger women have.
While I haven't read the other two books in the Bluebell Inn series, I'm sure many that have will be thrilled with Levi and Molly's many appearances with their own true loves. All in all, Autumn Skies is a wonderful pick-me-up with all the cozy vibes and I'm thrilled to have been given the chance to promote this book. Thanks to JustReadTours, Thomas Nelson and the author for my complimentary e-copy via Netgalley.

Wyatt and Grace, what a story. He's a Secret Service agent trying to remain secret while he tires to heal from a tragic past, Grace is co-owner of The Bluebell Inn with her siblings trying to make her outdoor adventuring business succeed while overcoming her own tragic past. Two hearts collide when they work together to help Wyatt find the place he is searching for. This book was great, my favorite in the series. It's about God's grace, love and forgiveness, especially when overcoming tragedy. A beautiful story with wonderful characters.

Autumn Skies is the 3rd novel in Denise Hunter's Bluebell Inn series, with each one focusing on one of the three siblings. The latest book focuses on Grace, the youngest Bennett, who falls for Wyatt Jennings, a secret service agent who stays at the Bluebell Inn as he is healing from a job-related injury. Denise Hunter writes in a way that grabs my interest from the first chapter and keeps me reading until the final page. I am sad to hear this is the final book in the series. I would love to read more about the three siblings and their future lives.

“And maybe it was time to get down to the real question at hand: Why was she so fascinated with him?” Grace

Denise Hunter’s Autumn Skies is a romance story that is filled with adventure, some suspense, faith, and sweet romance. Wyatt and Grace are extremely likable characters who fight their own demons from the past and realize they can change their futures. Denise Hunter has a way of drawing you into her story and makes sure you settle down and feel at home. I enjoyed my time in North Carolina at the Bluebell Inn.
Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter is the third and final book in her Bluebell Inn series. It is a stand alone book, but characters from the other two books are pleasantly featured and we receive updates on their lives. It was a great final book in the series that wrapped everything up in a satisfying way.

Autumn Skies
By Denise Hunter
Book 3 in the Bluebell Inn Romance series
Rating: 4.5/5
Release date: October 20, 2020

She does it again! It was such an enjoyable experience going back to the Bluebell Inn and hanging out with the Bennett siblings again. I’ve read the previous two books in the series and highly recommend them. However, this book can be read as a standalone.

21-year-old Grace Bennett is ready strike out on her own and expand her business. After helping her siblings start and run a successful inn, the time has come to sell. Grace’s outdoor adventures rental and guide business needs its own location. Focused on her career, Grace doesn’t know what hit her when new guest, Wyatt Jennings, walks in the door to check-in. His gaze is intense but he’s also a bit mysterious since he doesn’t know how long he’ll stay. When Grace offers to help guide him in hiking around the area, two hearts begin their journey of falling in love. Can these two very different people find healing from their tragic pasts? What happens when Wyatt reveals who he is to Grace?

I loved this story so much. It was easy to read and empathize with the main characters. I felt all the panic and terror that occurs with PTSD. Mental health problems are very real and I love when authors can address them in a manner that is non-stigmatizing. The main characters had to fight their way back to health. They had to embrace their insecurities and fears and find resolution for their feelings.

Although this is a Christian romance, it was not at all preachy. Although there’s faith woven throughout and a couple church scenes, I would categorize this book more as inspirational.

And I’m not ashamed to say I might have a crush on Wyatt. (Sigh). ;)

Highly recommend if you enjoy contemporary romance in a beautiful setting.

My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of the book. All opinions expressed here are entirely my own. No positive review was expected and no compensation received.

Somethings are beyond our own understanding and I felt like that was very present in this story. It was a very powerful read and I found it hard to put this book down. Grace and Wyatt both are faced with something in there past that leaves them with more questions than answers and because of that the author keeps you guessing and leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. I love the relationship between Levi, Molly and Grace its such a typical sibling relationship but at the end of the day when they need each other they are there for each other. I liked how the author didn't make either of the main characters victims but both fighters. Over all this book is a good clean read and was so worth the read. If you are following this series this book will allow you to catch up with others in the series.

Wyatt Jennings hasn’t been back to Bluebell since his Mom died there tragically when he was just a kid. When he starts having nightmares about her death, he realizes he needs to deal with it. He takes leave from his job as a Secret Service agent and sets out on a journey to his childhood home which is now the Bluebell Inn run my the Bennett siblings. He is greeted by Grace, the youngest of the siblings, and their connection is immediate and grows harder to ignore when Grace serves as his mountain guide as he searches for the site in the woods where his mother died.
The chemistry between Wyatt and Grace was steamy but sweet. Wyatt was definitely the strong but silent type and so was Grace! So, they were a perfect match. Denise Hunter always delivers a fresh, original and romantic story that has you flipping pages and smiling. The Bluebell Inn series is wonderful!

Autumn Skies is the third book in the Bluebell Inn Romance series, and its actually the first book that I have read by this author. I found it to be a heartwarming story of lost and love, Wyatt comes to town to try to come to terms with something that happened in his past while Grace has so much going on in her life that she is beginning to have panic attacks. What follows is a beautiful love story, that I would highly recommend to others.

I received a ARC from NetGalley and the publisher and am under no obligation to leave a favorable review, all opinions expressed here are my own.

The Bluebell Inn is exactly the kind of place I love to find on our travels. Too bad it's fictional!

Run by the Bennett siblings, The Bluebell Inn is finally turning a profit. Each of the three siblings has a different dream than continuing to run the inn. Sister Molly wants to run an inn in Tuscany. She and her best-selling writer husband, Adam Bradford have plans to travel and buy the inn of her dreams just as soon as the Bluebell sells. Brother Levi is marrying his movie star sweetheart and moving to LA. He is beyond ready to ditch the responsibility of the inn and go back to being a builder. Only youngest sister Grace is unsettled. She has a new business that she currently runs out of the inn. Selling means she has to find a permanent home for her outfitting company. Is moving it going to wreck her bottom line.

When Wyatt Jennings walks in off the street looking for a room, Grace is intrigued. The sparks she feels for this stranger are unusual enough, but the air of mystery that surrounds him makes him a puzzle she can't resist. For Wyatt's part, he's only looking for a place to unwind. Shot in the line of duty, his career in the Secret Service is on the line if he can't get his head back in the game. Coming back to the place where he experienced his greatest tragedy is supposed to help clear his mind, but getting to know the gorgeous innkeeper has its own set of problems.

Neither is looking for a relationship but sometimes that perfect someone steps in and surprises. Can they navigate the survivor's guilt they each carry and find love along the way?

Of the three Bluebell Inn Romances, Autumn Skies was easily my favorite. I liked youngest sister Grace from the first book, and everything I read showed her strong personality. Autumn Skies delves a bit into her backstory, which was a surprise that I won't divulge.

As part of a trilogy, Autumn Skies is definitely better when read in concert with Lake Season and Carolina Breeze. The family layers get built on with each book, and reading the other two makes this one shine all the brighter. I'm sure it can be read as a stand-alone, but I would recommend reading them in order to get the full effect. Denise Hunter has hit another one out of the park, as far as I'm concerned. I seldom read her books without tearing up somewhere, which is a sign of an awesome writer. I highly recommend!

The Bluebell Inn Romance series has been such a great series to read. It is easy to slip back in and visit the Bennett siblings and the inn that they renovated after their parents were killed in an auto accident four years ago. They all put their lives on hold to fulfill their parents' dream of turning the big house into an inn. The inn has a rich history of being many things, including an inn, a stagecoach inn, a post office, and a family home. They have the inn in the black and doing well so now it is time to sell it and each of the three fulfilling their own dreams.
Molly and Adam are married and Levi and Mia are about to start their own life. This is Grace's story, the youngest of the siblings and ready to start her own outfitters business, forgoing college. All she needs is the funds from the sell of the inn.
Wyatt Jennings is Secret Service, recovering from a gunshot wound he got in the line of duty. He grew up going to Bluebell during his summer years as a child until his mom was murdered when he was twelve. He and his mom were on a camping trip when she was attacked. He is still suffering from his feelings of guilt, thinking he could have done something to help her. The shooting has brought it all back so he decides to go back and try to recover and maybe settle his old nightmares.
Grace and Wyatt become friends as she helps him find the area where his mom died. He didn't disclose any details about what happened and actually opened up slowly to Grace. It was fun to watch their relationship develop but their lives are so different and far apart so it can't go anywhere. Can it? This is a romance but not without stressful events along the way. Autumn Skies has romantic attraction, friendship, faith, and survivor's guilt to overcome. Maybe God had a hand in bringing the two together. I highly recommend this sweet story and series. Grace's story is my favorite of the three. I wish it didn't have to end.
I received a complimentary ARC from Thomas Nelson through NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine only.

Colors changing. Leaves falling .Soft kisses. Love

Autumn Skies is the third book in the Bluebell Inn series by Denise Hunter. It is a story that takes us into a troublesome past in order to find a future.

We already know Grace Bennett from her sibling’s stories, but we get a glimpse of a childhood trauma that has impacted her life and relationships. Grace is struggling with helping her siblings run the inn and expanding her business, Blue Ridge Outfitters. Does she have time for someone special in her life?

Wyatt Jennings enters Grace’s life one night when he comes to the inn because of a gunshot wound he recently received. He is there to make peace with the ghost of his past that changed his life forever.

Wyatt hires Grace to act as a mountain guide without sharing his history and she graciously accepts the money. Throughout their journey, will they find what the other is searching for?

I admit that the first book in the series is the first book by Denise Hunter that I read, but I couldn’t put down any of these three. The history, the inter-woven storylines, the “humaness” she put in the books. This story made me think how easily life can change.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."

Wyatt Jennings is on a 4 week leave from work and decides to head to Bluebell and try to find some closure over the loss of his mom 14 years before. He stops at the inn Grace and her siblings run. Grace offers to help him out by being a hiking tour guide for him. As they get to know each other, she confides she has survivors guilt. Beautiful, heart-wrenching story that draws you right in. We see Molly and Levi of course, along with Adam, Mia, Della and a few townspeople, along with Wyatt’s dad, and friend Ethan. Sad to see this wonderful series, set in a quaint town end, and the Bennett family were all easy to relate to and are well fleshed out characters.
