It’s no secret that I love me some Denise Hunter books. I have yet to read a bad one, and I have read them all. So, I was beyond excited that I was given the opportunity to read “Autumn Skies” the third, and final, book in the Bluebell Inn series.

If you are unfamiliar with this series, you need to read it. NOW! The series follows the Bennett siblings, Molly, Levi and Grace. The first book focused on Molly and her love interest Adam. The second book focused on Levi and Mia.

“Autumn Skies” follows Grace, the baby of the Bennett siblings. We have watched Grace grow up in the series. When her siblings decided to finish the restoration and opening of their parents inn, Grace was just eighteen years old. She was always in the shadows of her siblings, but this book has her branching out and making a way for herself.

Grace has opened her own business, Blue Ridge Outfitters, an outdoor adventure rental shop. In addition, she helps run the inn with her siblings. It was at this inn that she meets Wyatt.

Wyatt and Grace are both working to lose the demons of their past in the form of childhood traumas. Wyatt, having been recently injured in the line of duty, finds himself at Bluebell Inn to help him face his childhood trauma and to deal with the repercussions.

Let me just say this was my favorite book in the Bluebell Inn series. As much as I loved Adam from the first book, “Lake Season”, Wyatt gives him a bit of competition in my eyes. The are vastly different with Wyatt being the alpha male. He is strong, fit, and a little brooding. He is mysterious and serious.

As much as I did not want to finish this book, after all it is the final book in the series, I just had to find out how the story ended. Not just for Grace and Wyatt, but all the Bennett siblings.

As I read the Epilogue, I felt like a true southerner standing on the porch saying bye to my loved one. The Bennett siblings have become my favorite fictional family, and I hated saying that goodbye.

I would give 'Autumn Skies' 10 stars if I could. This final offering in Denise Hunter's A Bluebell Inn Romance series was completely satisfying, other than the fact that I didn't want it to be over. The path to Wyatt and Grace's happiness is difficult and heartfelt. I liked them as people with real problems. I always appreciate the infusion of faith in God in Denise Hunter's works, and this plays a prominent part in this book. The entire trilogy will be all-time keepers for me and are a privilege to read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I am sad to see this series ending because I really have enjoyed seeing this set of siblings grow!
I really enjoyed how we got to see the continuation of each characters story through the series.
I loved how this book had a unique twist with the connection to the house that tied these siblings together.
This was such a great romance, I didn't know if I was really going to like Grace. When we saw her in the previous books I worried that her character would come across as too much like a self centered teenager. That is definitely NOT the case! I really appreciated how she has grown up and her insecurities and struggles. She is a really sweet character that I loved how her story developed (even if their were times I didn't think she was acting too smart).
Wyatt, I loved that his character was a secret service agent!!!!! A truly great hero from start to finish!
I loved the journey, I loved the message that tied them together.
Everything that I come to expect from Denise Hunter!
I was given a copy of this book from the publisher through Netgally. All my opinions are completely honest and my own.

Be still my heart! What an excellent conclusion to the series! This has become my favorite series by Denise Hunter with Autumn Skies being my favorite of the three books. It checked all of the boxes with romance, suspense, danger, and drama.

Grace is the youngest of the Bennett children and we have watched her grown up the last few years in the other books. She has matured from a young senior in high school to a self driven business woman. I love her no nonsense approach to life. In this book, we learn her story and a past event is revealed that caught me completely off guard. I feel that event helped shape the Grace we see today.

Wyatt Jennings comes to Bluebell looking for peace after a required break from his job. As he goes to find his old summer home, he has no idea it is now an inn. Drawn to the inn, he meets Grace and sparks instantly fly. Both try to deny them but are forced to confront them as they spend countless hours together hiking. Neither have any idea of the secrets the other is hiding and just how much it will effect the other person.

This is definitely a series that I hated to see end! I wanted to unpack a suitcase and settle in at the Bluebell Inn for a few weeks with the Bennett siblings. I can’t recommend this series enough!

As with all of Denise Hunter's books, this one was absolutely wonderful. Truly, I have never been disappointed when I pick up one of her books. Her characters always weave their way into my heart, her plot always holds my attention, and the romance always makes me sigh. Absolute perfection.

This latest book, Autumn Skies, is the final installment in Hunter's Bluebell Inn Romance. Here, we enter the story of Grace and Wyatt, characters who are trying to come to grips with the past in order to move forward to the future. With soul searching twists and turns and enough tension to hold you captive, Hunter delivers a story that guarantees you will fall in love.

You will not want to miss this novel, nor any of Hunter's books. Not only are they excellent romances, they are stories to encourage, challenge, and offer hope.

I received this book from NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

A new to me author that I look forward to reading again. This is a sweet romance that pulls you right into a storyline filled with lots of emotions. Grace and Wyatt both have secrets that can destroy their budding friendship and relationship. Will they survive or will it just become a faded memory? While I didn’t read the first two books, I was able to follow all the characters and now can’t wait to go back and read the others.

I write this with a headache from not enough sleep and too many tears, both because of this book, the final book in the Bluebell Inn series. Autumn Skies continues the story of Molly, Levi, and Grace who together own and run the Bluebell Inn. Molly met her husband, Adam, before the Inn even opened. Levi met his fiancee, Mia, when she came for her honeymoon without a husband to share the suite. Now, Molly is at the front desk when Wyatt Jennings shows up to check in.

Wyatt has been put on administrative leave for a month from his job as a Secret Service agent. His attention hasn't been on his job and that could be dangerous to the people he is detailed to protect as well as hazardous to himself.

There is a bit of predictability to this book, from the beginning the reader understands that Wyatt and Grace will be romantic protagonists. But there is a bit more that is given away before the denouement--Wyatt and Grace have more connections than just an attraction. Wyatt is the son of the governor who once owned the Inn as a summer home, so both Grace and Wyatt spent some time growing up there. There is another connection between them that brings them together in a way that they never saw coming.

I truly loved the characters in this book. Denise Hunter has tied up every loose end in the series, made the Inn and its surroundings come to life, and brought the individuals populating the pages of the book to life. They are true to life beings with foibles and and faults, as well as traits befitting the term "good people." The plot, while holding elements of predictability, has a constant pace and enough intrigue to keep the reader involved all the way to the end of the book. This is not only a five star book with two thumbs up and a suite at the Inn, but it is also a read worth the time to read.

Thomas Nelson and NetGalley.com provided the copy I read for this review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Denise Hunter is my FAV and I can never get enough of her books and can you blame me. This book is about Wyatt and Grace. Wyatt is a secret service agent who is sent on mandatory leave and ends up at Bluebell. Bluebell is this cozy inn that has complimentary cookies and fresh fruit (cast me Hallmark) . Wyatt and Grace are connected because of something that happened in the past. I totally enjoyed this book. Recommend it a lot. I loved Grace's character and thanks to Wyatt for making working out so addictive and cool. Thank you Thomas Nelson for my e-arc

Wyatt, a special agent, was shot protecting a senator, and is on a month’s leave. He decides to go to the town of Bluebell where he once lived. At eleven, Wyatt was camping outside of Bluebell when his mother was shot and killed. He is haunted by the fact he could not protect her. His old house is now a bed and breakfast in Bluebell. Grace is one of the owners and since she runs Blue Ride Outfitters, she offers to help him find the place he camped years ago. Hunting for the camping site and being made to feel a part of the family at the inn, he finds himself falling for Grace. There is plenty of adventure and love and caring. Sometimes it takes working through the past to see what is important in life. Great book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Where to begin??? I loved every page of this novel! This is the third and final book in the Bluebell Inn series and the perfect way to bring the collection to an end. Wyatt and Grace's stories, both individually and together, were amazing. Chemistry, tenderness, tension, action, and sweet faith elements made this the perfect read.

I was anxiously awaiting the last book in the Bluebell Inn series and it didn't disappoint. By far my favorite of the series.

Grace, as the youngest, struggles with missing her parents. Since their death occurred close to the trauma she experienced, her siblings are especially protective.

Wyatt comes to the area searching for the summer home where his family vacationed and where tragedy occurred 14 years prior. To his surprise, the house where summer memories were made is now an Inn run by 3 siblings.

As the story progresses, it becomes evident that both Grace and Wyatt suffer from survivor's guilt. As there relationship progresses they help each other accept the past and move on to the future, unaware of the inexplicable link between them. You'll have to read this story of love, family, survival, and divine intervention to get resolution: and it's well worth it!

I received a free ARC eBook from net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.

I enjoyed this book. The heat between Wyatt and Grace was fun to watch evolve. Bluebell Inn is up for sale. Grace hunts for an appropriate place to house her outfitters business while quickly becoming infatuated with the intense new guest staying at his childhood, home. Wyatt, a secret service agent, has to grapple with the death of his mother. He is equally taken with Grace but how can a relationship work when he's gone all the time. I knew the ending would work out and it did.

After finishing the book I was reading, prior to this one, that I was not able to be involved in, beginning Autumn Skies was such a blessing! It felt like I was in my favorite chair with a nice cozy blanket and a warm cup of tea and just settled in for a visit with a longtime friend. Denise Hunter has recently become one of my favorite authors. I love her writing style and the messages I receive from her books that can be applied to my life.

I have read the two prior books in this series, and now the third and final book. I love every one! Each book can be read independently of the others, but reading the entire series will bring you the fuller story and I recommend doing that.

I think this book holds a special place in my heart, since I really like the powerful message that flows throughout the story of letting go of guilt about a situation you had no control of and forgiving others. Denise Hunter’s books bring messages of God’s love in our lives, without being preachy.

Her characters are so like-life, full of flaws and great qualities. One of the things I like best is that they get along, forgiving each other and maintain a strong bond. This plot is very believable and I was so engrossed in the story. This was absolutely a page-turner for me. The two main characters are certainly meant to be together and it was a pleasure to read their story. I also enjoyed coming back to the Bluebell Inn and spending more time in this wonderful place.

I want to thank NetGalley and Thomas Nelson--FICTION for giving me the pleasure of reading the complimentary advance reader copy. Opinions expressed in my review are completely my own, not influenced by receiving the ARC.

Denise Hunter has become one of my favorite go-to authors for contemporary romance fiction—with beautifully descriptive settings, affable characters with real-life problems, and storylines that reach the deepest recesses of my heart.

'Autumn Skies' focuses mainly on the youngest sibling in the Bennett family, 21-year-old Grace. Totally living up to her name, Grace is a gracious, compassionate, ambitious heroine, who surprised me with her maturity at such a young age. She lets nothing distract her from her life's goals, nothing that is until the smoking hot, secret service agent walks into her family-run inn. Although there is spontaneous combustion between Grace and the enigmatic Wyatt, both are harboring long-buried secrets that will either make them or break them. The chemistry between these two fairly leapt off the pages and I found myself blushing a few times and grabbing a fan. lol

Hunter tackles some really tough, deep subjects such as panic attacks, guilt, and PTSD symptoms—and as always, there is a spiritual vein throughout the story. 'Autumn Skies' will work as a stand-alone novel and is the perfect conclusion to this amazing series. I bid these wonderful characters a fond adieu...they shall be sorely missed.

'Don't play the what-if game, Grace. You'll lose every time.'

Denise Hunter has saved the very best for last in her Bluebell Inn Romance series. I loved Grace at the first novel and knew she had a wonderful story to tell and she did! Grace, the youngest of the siblings who own the Bluebell Inn and the one with the most heartache, in my opinion.

When Wyatt Jennings walks through the inn's door looking for a place to stay because he's been put on mandatory leave on his secret service job, he is looking for a way to come to peace with a disturbing and painful episode in his past. He finds Grace at the check in desk. She offers to give him guided hiking tours to find what he hopes will be the answer to that past experience. However, there is a connection to both their fears from the past. Can they work past it and come to a peaceful solution? God does indeed use the painful parts of our past to work things out for our good.

I loved everything about this. One thing that makes a book real to me is when I can connect to the characters from the start. And this happened with both Wyatt and Grace. Hunter handles the situations in their life with grace (no pun intended) and love. I shed a few tears here, too. I loved every single minute. Truly, she saved the best for last. Bravo! Recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed the third book in Denise Hunter's "Bluebell Inn" romance series. Grace may be young but she is a spitfire with dreams of her own. Set in the Blueridge Mountains and filled with southern charm, family, adventure and romance. Autumn Skies completes the Bennett family stories with a warm sigh. This series is not to be missed.

This third installment in the “Bluebell Inn Romance” series does not disappoint. A nice way to finish off the trilogy, Autumn Skies ties up the loose ends and brings to a close the story of the Bennett siblings’ family inn and love lives. Following the story of Grace, the early twenties sibling who runs her own outdoor sporting equipment store out of the Bluebell Inn, readers are treated to a delightful story perfect for reading with a nice cup of tea or apple cider.

Gunshot wound victim and Secret Service agent Wyatt comes to the inn for a little healing, both physically as well as from some painful childhood memories that have been haunting him. There’s an instant attraction with Grace, several years his junior, and this story follows as they overcome their childhood traumas and learn to heal as adults.

I really enjoyed this story; there was a little bit of suspense as the characters’ backstories unfolded, and a quaint small-town feel that really emanates from the pages. It’s a nice cozy read for an autumn day, and a sweet love story to tie up the series.

Denise finished this series with an amazing story of courage, love, and mystery. Grace may be young, but she's had to grow up and help her siblings with the inn. Wyatt carries an air of mystery and sorrow. While Grace's sister and brother are busy with their own lives, Grace wants nothing more than to get her business up and running. In the mean time, Wyatt's story tugs at Grace's heart. As the story unfolds I was drawn into the Blue Ridge Mountains and the quaint town of Bluebell. The inn is lovely and the setting beautiful. If you have read the first two in the series, you can't miss Autumn Skies. If you haven't read any of them, start with book one. This can be a stand alone, but you don't want to miss out on Molly and Levi's stories. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

#AutumnSkies #NetGalley

Autumn Skies, is the third and final book, in the Bluebell Inn Series. I've read all the books in this series, it was fun to read about an older Grace Bennett. Grace, is an old soul in a young body, a tomboy of sorts, who enjoys the outdoors. Grace owns her own business, along with being part owner of the Bluebell Inn.
Wyatt Jennings, a secret service agent, is trying to reclaim his life, from a tragic past. He decides to come back to the town, where it all started, to stay at the Bluebell Inn. With such a short time to try and heal, Wyatt is not sure he can heal his past, but he is willing to try. A tender story, that brings closure to the series.

Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter.
This is the third book in the BlueBell Inn series.

I have been seeing this book title on Goodreads, Facebook and Instagram. I was so pleased to get a copy from the publisher, Thomas Nelson through NetGalley. Thank you so much!

Wyatt Jennings. I like the name and the personality given to this character.

I have seen mention of this author’s name everywhere online. I am so proud to read one of her many works.

I love Grace. Grace and Wyatt are the protagonists in this plot. There are other secondary characters you can’t help liking.

Themes of peace, freedom from guilt, family, friendship and many more were explored in this book.

Guilt has a way of burdening the victim’s shoulders but when peace comes in, the person becomes so free. I learnt that in this book, Autumn Skies by Denise Hunter.

Although I haven’t read the Two books in the series, I felt comfortable reading Autumn Skies although I will recommend you read the first two books which are Lake Season and Carolina Breeze to follow some of the characters that were mentioned in Autumn Skies.

I received a complimentary Copy of this book from Thomas Nelson publishers through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are mine.

I am giving it 4 stars.
