So I definitely feel that if your a Gena Showlter fan you’ll be into this book.

Love the fantasy, adventure and romance of it all and the sex scenes are HOT!

I find Lyric (the heroin) slightly irksome with her “I’m better than other females” attitude, but she is still very funny... so likeable overall.

I felt that we could of seen more of the heroes POV because absolutely loved him!

I have to say even though I enjoyed this book I felt that the story was a little jumbled and the writing rushed? Also it could just be my copy (from netgalley) but so many sentences were grouped together and it was sooo irritating! Pleasedonotpublishthisbookwiththiserror!

So to sum it up if you like kickass heroins with smart mouths, domineering heroes that say “mine” and an adventure to another world, this is your kinda book.

Really, really enjoyed this book. My first by Worley and it won't be my last! Loved her writing style! Her characters were quirky and very engaging. The story was a bit predictable but that was fine. Loved the epilogue and can't wait to see how that plays into the next book!

This was a really great love story, with lots of twists and surprises. A family full of lies and deception. Warning there is some sensitivity topic of wife abuse. Overall this was a fun page turner. The main character has a fun angry violent attitude.
