It's Agatha Christie, what what would not be good, engaging and entertaining. I love her work and have read everything I can get my hands on that she has written. This collection of short stories was enjoyable. The stories vary in the quality of her craft and are all worth reading. There were stories featuring a variety of her main characters - Poirot, Maple, Pyne, Tommy and Tuppence... - and genre. It is a good introduction to her worlds and characters. I would hope that a new reader to her, after reading this collection, would be motivated to read her novels and delve deeper into her work.

A nice repackaging of Agatha Christie stories, most with a winter theme. The first story is the basis for the play, The Mousetrap, which has not been published in the UK so it won't spoil the ending for the play-goers. NIce light reading.

Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I don't know exactly why, but I thought (hoped?) that there might be some stories here that I hadn't read. One story was previously unpublished, all the rest were stories I had read before. Perhaps I have just read too much Agatha Christie!

That said, this is a nice collection of Christie's short stories - we have most of the favorites included. Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence, Harley Quin, Parker Pyne. So, an enjoyable read, even if the stories were familiar.

This is a fantastic collection of short stories! Agatha Christie fans will not be disappointed in the writing style that is consistent with the others other works. This book is also a great way to introduce new readers to Agatha Christie's stories and some of her most cherished characters.

This is a compilation of short stories by Agatha Christie. I had never read them before so I enjoyed them very much. A couple of them featured Hercule Poirot, Agatha Christie's never-to-be-forgotten famous Belgium detective with the mega "gray cells" and the perfectly groomed mustache. A couple featured Miss Marple as well. I've not read any Tommy and Tuppance stories before so reading a short story with them in it has me curious to read of their adventures. Each short story is about 30 minutes long. Although the first story is longer and takes about an hour to read. I enjoyed each story. Not all of the stories deal with murder, but they do have intrigue. If you are an Agatha Christie fan then I would recommend reading some of her short stories!

This is a great collection of Agatha Christie short stories with winter as the collective background for each tale. I enjoyed that all of her famous sleuths from Poirot, Tommy and Tuppence to Ms. Marple are featured in the book. I enjoyed the introduction by Christie reminiscing about her Christmas holidays at Abney Hall as a child, and how it influenced her holiday themed mysteries. I think all fans of Christie would enjoy this short story collection, especially during the winter holidays.

This book was received as an ARC from HarperCollins Publishers - William Morrow Paperbacks in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

Poirot and Miss Marple are very popular in our mystery collection and Agatha Christie never seems to disappoint. This was another nail biting thrilling tale that I could not stop reading. The plot twists and turns make this series so exciting that just when you thought you had everything figured out, another curve-ball gets thrown and the story as you know it, changes right in front of your eyes. I know I will be getting requests for this book very soon and I can't wait to tell everyone that it was worth the wait.

We will consider adding this title to our Mystery collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

With the 100 year anniversary of Ms. Christie's first publication, it is only fitting to enjoy some of her short stories in this book. It was wonderful that stories were included from all of her famous detectives and characters.
