This book contains a lot of good information. It is a quick and easy read with some good recipes provided. The recipes are simple, but satisfying, using common ingredients. If you are new to intermittent fasting or a seasoned pro, this book still has a lot of good pointers. Also, contained in the book is information on a plan to get moving to assist in reaching goals along with utilizing IF. There is also a list of pantry items to help with putting together a grocery list and a handy measurement conversion table, as well. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for allowing me to review this book.

If you are considering losing weight through intermittent fasting, this may be a good book to hep you understand what exactly you'll need to do.. It also includes some delicious recipes.

Fasting seems like the thing to do these days but I'll be the first to admit that it's not for everyone and there's a right way too about it so that you don't totally disrupt your system.
For people who have packed on the pounds during quarantine and are looking to drop them with partnering healthy eating together, it's not as hard to do.

This is great for anyone wanting to know more about Intermittent fasting. It had a lot of good points for someone
like me who all ready does fasting. This was one the best books that I have read on fasting. It hit on a good many
points that I had not thought about.

This book is very helpful for those who are new to intermittent fasting. After reading this book I tried it out and I can honestly say it does work and is simple to incorporate into your everyday. However, you must already have the determination that you want to make changes in your life for the better because it is not easy mentally. But like anything the longer you do it the more your body will be used to it. I'm someone who loves snacking so it was hard to stop but honestly coffee and water helped me stay on track. I liked that this book was informative and had pictures to help guide people through their journey. It's nice that it is only 21 days because people will not have to wait long before they notice results. Then if you want to go beyond the 21 days you already know what to do and your now able to do so all on your own. The recipes shown in this book look delicious and don't seem overly complicated to create.

Should you read "The 21-Day Intermittent Fasting Weight Loss Plan"?
Yes, overall it was a quick informative read. Even if your considering doing intermittent fasting I would check this book out. This could be the book to help push you in the right direction. If intermittent fasting isn't for you then hopefully you can still learn some healthy recipes from reading this book.

I never heard of this diet plan until I requested this book. Now it's everywhere! I'm not trying to lose weight but this was a useful book nonetheless.

This book is divided into 2 sections. Part 1 has 4 chapters.
Chapter 1 describes:
What is IF, types of daily and weekly IFs, how IF leads to weight loss,

Chapter 2 explains:
How to plan your exercise

The third chapter contains the 21 day plan —not a low carb plan, this plan doesn’t restrict a certain kind of food.

Chapter 4 details: Description of health benefits of continuing IF beyond 21 days

Part 2 is comprised of recipes referenced in the 21 day plan. There is a mixture of commonly eaten recipes and outside the typical weeknight dinner recipes that many people probably don’t eat often. I’m not sure how many of those recipes I would actually use.

I've been hearing about intermittent fasting from friends and Instagram influencers. I wasn't up for spending money on a membership to learn more. I appreciate Andy DeSantis' book on the subject. It is user friendly and provides options for newbies while explaining the rationale behind the various options. I enjoyed the recipes and will be trying a few in the coming weeks. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in trying intermittent fasting or simply learning more about it!

Intermittent fasting as a weight loss plan is an effective way to train your body to eat during a certain period of time and allow your body time to digest. The first half of the book is a detailed 21 day plan, and the last half is full of some delicious sounding recipes. 21 days is the average amount of time to allow your body to adjust to a schedule and see the effects.

What did I like? I’ve seen intermittent fasting books before, and this one is pretty detailed. It gives you different levels of fasting, and an easy plan to follow. The recipes are really what caught my eye though. From the gorgeous French toast to the fish tacos, I’m not a huge fan of fasting but the recipes in this book make me want a copy.

Would I buy or recommend? I’d recommend for people looking to give fasting a try, the book has a wealth of information as far as how to fast properly and the recipes are good. I buy cookbooks strictly to look at food so while the recipes were informative and well written they needed more pictures.

Thoughts for the author? Thanks so much for a copy to read and offer an opinion. Kudos to you to helping people become healthier, I hope many will benefit from your hard work and dedication.

This is the combination of a diet book and a cookbook. The first part explains intermittent fasting and the various versions you can do. It then contains some exercises and finishes up with meal plan by fasting plan and recipes. The recipes include some helpful notes at the top to indicate if it is a fast recipe, under 500 calories, vegan, etc. There are also the substitution tips on each recipe which can be helpful especially if you are looking for vegetarian versions of a recipe.

This was a straightforward, informative approach to intermittent fasting. I've been creating my own 'rules' around the process for about six months now but it was nice to have it broken down by an expert. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to follow IF that really lays out the 'best practices'.

This was a good informational book about intermittent fasting. I am using many of the tips and recipes in the book this summer. If you are a novice to intermittent fasting, this book will give you a good overview of what it is and how to do it.

I had been hearing a lot about fasting and of course wanted to see what it involved. With this book, the author cleanly explains what it is - and isn't - while laying out several options. Whether you fast for 12 hour or 18, do one meal a day or instead focus on a weekly plan, there is something here for everyone. The 12 hour plan is a great starting point (12 hours eating, 12 hours not eating) and a nice transition into fasting without hunger.

The book has a few photographs but does provide a nice graphical format that is easy to read and reference. Losing weight, exercising and a 21 day plan are all included. Recipes make up the bulk of the book and each is nicely presented in two 3 colors: title, prep time, cook time, calories, allergies are all at the top. There is a short paragraph describing the recipe. Ingredients are in bold format and then simple numbered steps make preparation easy.

The author is positive and most of the pages before the recipes are graphs with different types of fasting plans and how to use them. So once you've chosen one, it is easy to find it and then use the plan. Included exercises are nicely illustrated and easy to follow - there's nothing too onerous in there. Recipes are easy and broken down by: breakfasts, soups & salads, vegetarian & vegan mains, poultry & seafood mains, pork & beef mains, small meals & fast friendly beverages, and condiments/sauces/dressings.

In all, if you are interested in fasting, this is a great place to start. The plans are clear, there are plenty of choices to fit your lifestyle, and the recipes are easy to follow and interesting. The only detraction for me is not having a photograph of each recipe so I know what it will look like. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

I really like the explanations and plans in this 21 Day Intermittent fasting book. Some great easy recipes and plans to follow! I can't wait to try and mix and match many of the recipes. I like that smoothie recipes were a apart of the breakfast plan and there were different versions of the timing of fasting to make it work for each person.

Another unique feature of this book is including the exercise plan, this book is a one stop shop! Info on fasting, exercise and meal planning!

Andy DeSantis introduces the reader to the world of intermittent fasting with the outlook of a registered dietician. The book is well researched and uses simple language to convey the entire intermittent fasting method to any reader.

I'll admit I have been super curious about intermittent fasting since it became the "go to" diet plan everywhere. However I could never find helpful information online I could trust. This book is the go to book if you are an intermittent fasting beginner like me. Andy has provided so much helpful information from breakdowns of different fasting plans, exercises, what to expect while fasting, daily meal plans and recipes for all the meal planned meals. Also this book is beautiful, the pictures are so pretty and the food looks delicious. I can't wait to try out the 12:12 21 day plan and see what my results are. I am not a newbie to intermittent fasting, but I have really only done the 16:8 version. I have gained some weight this year and one of the best ways to get your metabolism back on track is fasting so I was quite interested in diving into this book. I appreciate that the book breaks down the several different types of fasts and provides information on how to combine them for best results. The only reason I rated the book was 4 instead of 5 stars for me is that I didn't find the majority of the recipes appealing, and I am not all that picky. This is definitely a great book for great insight on how to incorporate intermittent fasting into your routine.

I asked to preview this book for information on fasting as I have heard so much about it. It was very informative on all aspects of fasting. I thought it gave many options for the process and how to get started or maintain many different types of fasts. I liked that it also included menus and recipes to help anyone get started toward a healthy alternative lifestyle.

I really enjoyed this book. Intermittent Fasting is a hot trend right now and hopefully one that will continue. DeSantis structures this book for all levels of fasters--whether you re already fasting or want to begin the lifestyle. One of my favorite things about this book is that detailed meal plans/timeline are provided to fit your lifestyle. For some that may be fasting 5 days a week, for some one meal a day, etc. The book will meet you where you are which is so important. Just that information would have been enough but this book also includes wonderful recipes for every meal. All recipes are SIMPLE and CLEAN!!! I could easily whip up a bunch of these without a trip to the store. I can't wait to incorporate these into my summer lifestyle!
