After Her is a well-written book that deals with some tough subjects!
This was my first book from Joyce Scarbrough and I cannot wait to read more from her.

In all honesty this book was definitely nothing even close to what I was expecting, but not in a bad way! It was interesting and a really fresh take on this certain type of storyline. All in all I would recommend to a friend.

Oh wow... this was WAY out of my regular reading journey that I choose, and I kinda liked it haha
Futuristic, romantic, spirited and in a realm that makes you think about the afterlife... it captured me and I'm looking forward to picking up other books by Joyce Scarbrough.

A huge thank you to NetGalley, Joyce Scarbrough and Blue Attitude Books for providing me with an ecopy of this publication which allows me to provide you with an unbiased review.

I chose to read and review this book because I thought it would be a teen summer romance YA book. Boy, was I ever wrong — but in a good way!
What happens when you die and you aren’t ready to live “upstairs?” We follow the story of Wade and Jada, two people who are “transdead.” They are on assignment in new human bodies and lives, given a mission to change the world. Will their mission fail or will they succeed?
What I love about this book is the futuristic yet nostalgic spin on the after life. The book reminds me of the movie “Chances Are,” with Robert Downey Jr.

Tough subjects are brought up in this book but are dealt with in a good manner . Wade's journey is a perfect for anyone in high school or any young adult to empathize with. .
