Great Story. I loved the first book in this series called ‘Sold’ and I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well. Blair Denholm has put together a highly entertaining and interesting plot, that had me glued to the pages for hours. Gary Braswell is an outstanding character. He has a knack for getting himself into all sorts of trouble, and it’s very entertaining seeing him try to get out of it.
Gary Braswell and his girlfriend Tracey Southern found out rather quickly that the weather in Tasmania was nothing like New South Wales or the Gold Coast, with the biting cold winds. They both had to take on new identities after the Federal Police had offered a large reward for Gary’s arrest. The Fed’s were keen to catch up with Gary as they believed he had killed a Cop and a Russian man, most likely from the Russian Mafia. Gary might have had plastic surgery, but he would still have to trust others around him to keep him safe, and for some reason he seemed confident that Tracey, an ex-Sydney prostitute addicted to heroin could help him. This is a memorable book and certainly well worth reading. 5/5 Star Rating.
