As a Nightmare Before Christmas fan, I was delighted to see these existed! Since these are a series, I would suggest reading them in order. I was approved for the 4th and final installment, and I'm not going to lie I was a little confused. That being said, this is truly amazing and brought back so much nostalgia from the movies!

I applaud the author for their creativity, and it was so nice to see familiar faces. I certainly will be going back to read the other 3, this book is perfect for some younger readers but I still really enjoyed it!

So much fun, I love Tim burton and Christmas and Disney 🥳🎃💕

For this book, to open it, I had to get behind the computer and had to use a extra program because it wouldn’t open in kindle or kobo or i reads. So hopefully netgalley will have extra options in the future, because the book was super cute ☺️ and it’s a pity when you can’t read it because the file that. was send wasn’t compatible 🤔.

Would love to see more of these graphic novels 🤗🥳💕🎃

I love Tim Burton and all he has created. I saw an exhibition of his in MOMA New York and I've been a huge fan ever since. Nothing is beyond his realm of possibility. This was fun, a little off the wall, and not at all my usual reading material but I like to stray beyond my comfort zone on occasion and I'm glad I did. It got me thinking and gave me many ideas for my class upon return to work in September. This was so creative, so interesting, a genre that really does appeal to young people. I loved the hero aspect of it also with Zero coming to the rescue and who doesn't love Christmas. I took a lot from this graphic novel & will ring more, on occasion, in the future. I give this 3.5 stars.

I love the magic of Tim Burton and the world he created in A Nightmare Before Christmas. This comic series is delightful, the story line is rich and fun and my Jack Skellington obsessed child adores them.

I received this book from Netgalley in return for my honest opinion.

It was a lot of fun reading this graphic novel. We get to see more of Christmas Town in it, and how out of sorts Zero and some friends are in this place. When something bad happens, it looks like Zero will try to save the day. To do so, they might need a bit of help from a new friend. As this graphic novel comes to a close, we see owner and pet get reunited. If you enjoyed the previous Zero’s Journey graphic novels, then you will want to read this one.

'Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero's Journey #4' by D.J. Milky with art by Kei Ishiyama, David Hutchinson, and Dan Conner continues the adventures of Zero in Christmas Town.

In the last volume, Zero was lighting Santa's tree when a jealous reindeer caused and accidental fire. In the panic to get the fire out, Lock, Shock, and Barrel take the distraction to steal presents. Meanwhile, Jack and other residents of Halloween Town come to find Zero.

This is a fun series with familiar characters. It's a quick read, but would be fun for young readers. The art is great and I love that it's in full color.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Diamond Book Distributors and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

In a fun revisit to the world of Tim Burton's Halloween and Christmas Towns, Zero's journey is an exciting and imaginative take on the beloved film. Set as a sequel to the original movie, this graphic novel follows the ghost dog Zero has he ventures from his home to the North Pole, giving us a look into the new and transformed lives of beloved characters, While not as moody or dark as the film (which I do miss), the story is very much in theme with the perspective of the friendly dog and his POV, understandably giving the story a more playful spin. I loved entering a world that I have loved my whole life once again, and am so glad that I was given the opportunity to read such a fun manga!

Anything can happen in a Disney world. But what has a nightmare got to do with Christmas? Shouldn't Christmas be preceded by stories of Santa and the elf? Well, that's not the case when you are stuck in a Gothic world with people (or ghosts👻) from the Halloween Town.

You must have watched the Disney movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is all about ghosts, Halloween Town and Christmas Town. D.J. Milky has brought in the novelization of the classic Christmas movie!

The ghost dog, Zero, from the movie is the hero in this book. If you have been following the Zero series, get your hands on its quarto installment.

Zero is the pet of Halloween Town's King, Jack Skellington- the Pumpkin King. And when Zero is lost somewhere in Christmas Town, Jack decides to go there with his team to rescue Zero. And off they step from their lifeless town to the merry place of Christmas Town- which is full of white snow, presents, decorations, lights and aroma of cakes and pies.

Dive into the book to know what happens when the ghosts from Halloween Town reaches the Christmas Town. Of course chaos is right next. But who will save the Christmas from nightmares like stolen gifts, fire in the gift factory and disappointed children? Well, is it our hero Zero?

Disclaimer- Secure yourself with seat-belts; there is going to be a bit of flying!!😜

I love all things disney. In this story, Jack is on the search for his missing dog Zero. At the same time, there is an emergency that may cancel Christmas. I enjoyed this graphic novel, but i was left wanting a little bit more.

A new story between two worlds, very different in human eyes even for non-humans, but there are certain things in which they have similarities! And those are in the festivities, you already open hearing that Halloween and Christmas are totally different, but, that does not imply that they cannot meet ...
In this new story we see the highly acclaimed Jack Skellington and his new adventure, What is it? Well ... His beloved pet Zero has disappeared and no one in the town of Halloween knows where he is so Jack and Sally are heading to a new adventure where there are elves, gifts and the most impractical Santa Claus.
Zero searches for a way to return to the town of Halloween but suddenly he comes across a certain important factory of the Christmas holiday and is involved in that adventure.
As you read the book it makes you feel the two festivities in an intimate way and makes you wish they are in them in real life, in addition to seeing the love that Jack has towards Zero, and Zero steals our hearts as the story, I can't tell you much, but if you love stories with Halloween, Christmas and pets this is your book.

I picked this for the following reasons;
1. Something from the Read Now pile which meant instant gratification. Perfect just before bedtime.
2. It’s Disney!
3. It’s The Nightmare Before Christmas!!!
4. Its a graphic novel.

The art concept in this novel was spectacular! It was vivid, it was vibrant and brought the story completely to life! I felt like I was back in Halloweentown and Chrsitmastown. I heard the voices of Jack, Sally and even the Mayor playing out in my head as my son and I read the book together. Ok, I read it to my son. Hey he’s only 1 and a half.
The art sticks pretty closely to the original but you can tell there is more of a crtoon-ish feel to their faces. Especially Zero’s. Honestly I thought it made Zero and Jack look stinkin adorble! ❤ I want some of the art from this novel just to hang up in my house.

This being the fourth novel and not having read any of the previous novels, I appreciated the recap in the beginning. Zero is lost but has teamed up Lock, Shock and Barrel. What! Santa, concerned the children can’t decipher right from wrong, invites them to Christmas town to show them some kindness. Some things go awry, not to the fault of Lock, Shock or Barrel surprisingly, that give the children the opportunity to indulge in their natural mischievous behavior.
Meanwhile Jack decides he can no longer sit idly by in the hopes Zero will come home. He recruits some help and leaves in search of his beloved pooch.

While the story was cute, it didn’t really seem like something from Disney. It didn’t quite feel in character for all of our beloved characters. It did, and it didn’t. That’s confusing yes but I can’t quite put my finger on it. This did not hinder the enjoyment in anyway.

I cant wait to start collecting them all! These would make a wonderful addition to the graphic novel section of my home library.

I believe this is the conclusion to Zero’s forst journey? It felt awefully short but was not a disappointment. Still fun to go through as well as great art pieces. Thank you Net Galley for accepting my request to read the ARC.

I am a huge fan of anything Disney so of course I wanted to read about Zero! The graphics are amazing as always with Disney and the story was interesting as well.

Zero is lost so Jack sets out to find him and bring him home. While Zero is on his own, he finds a reindeer that is in trouble. When Jack finds Zero, they get into some mischief that of course only they can! Sally is in the story as well. Just a great read for anytime of the year, not just Christmas time.

I loved reading this graphic novel and getting lost in the great story as well as the amazing graphics. I am sure my younger kiddo will love reading this one as well. D.J. Milky is excellent as always as well!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this graphic novel and all opinions are my own. Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an advanced copy of this graphic novel.
