The Doolin brothers are notorious outlaws: Dan, Dave and Duke. Whilst laying low in a bar, the brothers plan their next move to go back and get their loot. The third brother, Duke, doesn’t get a chance to develop, as he’s shot down by the police and Dan and Dave escape on their 'saurs. They discover that the magical skulls their father gave them give them powers: Dave can escape into other dimensions, and Dan is immortal! We also follow Dan's adoptive daughter, the girl with no name, who turns out to be a bad ass gun fighter.

I wasn't expecting to like this but I really liked this!! I can't wait for the continuation of the series. I really loved the dinosaurs and wild west aspect, and the aliens. I thought it was very unique and I haven't seen anything like it. I loved the cool powers that came with the skulls. Furthermore, the plot twists at the end of every chapter made me want to keep reading and made for a very enjoyable read. Finally, the art style is beautiful and weird and I really liked it. The only downside is that a lot isn't explained, which I hope will be in the following volumes.

Spaghetti western meets dinosaurs and mayhem in this first graphic novel who follows the story of the Dooling Brothers.

There is so much going on with this first six chapters of what seems to be a weird and crazy journey in a wild west scenario. The art seems to be taken from a Gorillaz videoclip so you can expect a lot of nonsense stuff (in a good way). Add to that space vampires, magic skulls, riding dinosaurs, portal magic and dystopian cities.

Each chapter adds another layer of plot-twists as the story rapidly unfolds and we keep learning about each character and their capabilities and background. It's an enjoyable reading and I can't wait to keep reading this series to see how all turns out.
