I love the way Meg Warner writes; it honest and refreshing and makes a difficult topic like trauma easy to read even when it is stretching your thinking. The idea of looking at the story of Joseph through the lens of trauma was fascinating, and whilst I was a little unsure about some of her thinking around the #MeToo movement that didn't detract at all from the value of the book.

I was excited to pick up this book looking at resilience. There are some key things identified but I did find the author rambled and jumped from one thing to another. For example frequent references to other books or chapters. It really didn't flow well for me.
