Danger, sexual tension, and more, lies between the pages of INCOGNITO EX by Geri Krotow, and it was the perfect read to curl up with the other night when the weather was horrid.

Coral Staufer is determined for her business to rise from the ashes like a phoenix and become one of the best event spaces in the country, and she will work all the hours it takes to make it happen. But what Coral doesn't know is that a powerful criminal leader has hidden something on her property and will kill anyone who gets in their way. Soon, Coral is in danger and the only person who can help her is her ex-husband, Trevor, who is an undercover agent. Trevor never stopped loving Coral even though he let her go all those years ago but he will do whatever it takes to protect her. Can they escape the danger they are in before it is too late? And can a different type of love flourish second time around?

Action-packed and with plenty of suspense to sink your teeth into, there is never a dull moment in INCOGNITO EX. I loved Coral who is feisty, strong, and willing to walk away for her own happiness, and she is a character that grows from the beginning to the end in this story. Trevor is strong and stubborn but recognises his flaws and I enjoyed watching him open up to Coral and really let her into his world. And the chemistry between these two is off-the-charts!

INCOGNITO EX by Geri Krotow is an exciting story and is sure to please romantic suspense fans the world over. I look forward to more from this author.

Pretty good. Lots of action and a sweet HEA.

Today there are so many different levels of romance stories that Harlequin puts out. This one is a romantic suspense that was full of action with a nice bit of heat level to keep it interesting and flowing.

I’ve never read the author before but I was impressed with her nice flow of the story and interesting detail she added. Because this was a second-class second chance romance, we did get a bit of what broke them apart in the beginning and I love the ability they both had to recognize their faults and how to try again.

The level of action and the suspense was executed nicely; the story was unique and interesting. There were a few areas that I thought she went a little far with Coral’s abilities but she showed the couple were vulnerable yet strong together as a team.

This new book is a good choice for that diversion and downtime that you’re looking for right now. Solid and engaging with the suspense, medium on the heat level, and a nice happily ever after to round it all off.
