I like the idea of this book. What would YOU do if you knew there was only a few months left on this earth?? And they do cover it somewhat. I mean I'm not sure going on a bender with booze and alcohol would be how I would waste my time left....but meh, you do you I guess. Also I struggled with the main character and his relationship with his girlfriend or ex girlfriend. He comes across as more of a stalker then anything. I mean I get he loved her and was heartbroken but he seemed to follow her around and she was bitchy to him and half baked everytime he was with her. It does come together but the beginning was long and the drugs and alcohol these kids consumed it was beyond me how they made it to The End. But it wrapped up pretty decent...its an ok read, kind of puts you in a dark mood I found.
Thank you Netgalley and publishers for sharing this book with me.

Thanks to the publisher for providing an eARC of The End in exchange for an honest review.

The End is the third "there's a comet coming towards earth lets watch these teens live out their final days" book I've read this year (I think the fifth in my life? not sure though) and it's by far the best one I've ever read.

The End examines what an impending doom can do to relationships, government systems, family dynamics, and the globe as a whole.

I really, really loved that The End wasn't just about The End of the world. The murder-mystery aspect really helped flesh out the characters and keep you hooked to the story.
