What a fantastic book to read!

I was completely mesmerized by this book - this is a part of the Noticer series. I have not read any of the other books in this series, but don't let this stop you from picking up this beautiful and wonderful book.

Just Jones is a fantastic story that is both mesmerizing and captivating. This fantastic book gifts us life lessons along the way. This was a really quick read that I enjoyed and found to be eye opening. I now understand why Andy Andrews has such a loyal following - a true master storyteller.

I am going to be purchasing this book for friends and family to gift.

Wonderful!!

The stories are written and told by the author Andy Andrews. He meets a man named Jones, not Mr. Jones, just Jones when he is young and struggling. Jones is able to provide some perspective. As Jones would say it’s not How you see things, it’s how you Choose to see things! Throughout the first two books Jones is helping many different people learn many different lessons. He always seems to show up when folks need him the most and move on when things are as they should be.

In the new Just Jones book, Jones returns seven years later to Orange Beach, Alabama. He is finally back in town, but also happens to be in jail! This story was different as Andy was still character but this story really focused on a couple other townsfolk who were going through a really hard time. One of them just simply passing through town.

Jones is Angel walking among men, there really is just no other way to describe him. I loved these books. I was so thrilled to find this series and so glad I can share it with others!

Despite not being sure about this book at the beginning, I was pulled in and ended up grinning quite a bit during a few parts.
This book was just full of wisdom and advice for practical life. It may have been a bit much in one area and lacking the next section, but it eventually balanced out in the end.
It took me a bit to get into due to the writing style. I seldom come across the style that Andrews used but once I got used to it, I didn't notice. Granted, it did take awhile to get used to it.
I'd recommend this book to fans of authors like Richard Paul Evans and David Rawlings.

I did not have the privilege of reading the first few books in the Noticer series, so it took me a minute to get my bearings in this story but once I did I fell in love with Just Jones. For me, it felt a little disjointed at first, with multiple stories that ricochet back and forth, and multiple characters with what at first appears to be storylines that have nothing to do with another, but as I read further, slowing witnessing each narrative intersect, it was nothing short of breathtaking, and incredibly poetic.

This is a tale that we all can identify with in one way or another, and the wisdom that Joes speaks to everyone that he comes in contact with is so spot on, and thought-provoking, not only for the person in the story, but to the reader as well. I highlighted quite a few passages of sage advice that I plan to ponder on later, especially the part about coffee. I've always had an obsession with coffee, but this analogy took that love to a whole other level. I also would kill to try Just Jones Java!

As with all books by Andy Andrews the writing is masterful, and the attention to facts and details are unparalleled. He is such an exquisite storyteller! I was blown away with how much I enjoyed this book, especially with how rocky the beginning was for me, but now I plan on going back and reading the first two books in the series. I can't help myself! I'm in love with Jones!

As soon as I saw this book come up and that it was written by Andy Andrews, I knew immediately that I wanted to read it as I am a big fan of his stories. They are all life-changing and inspirational stories of those who have backslidden or need a little bit of help and direction in their lives and God puts someone in their way to help them see the light and in do say in the process changing their lives for the better. In this book, Jones aka Just Jones is back and somehow got himself arrested where he meets Keely in the jail cell, she too is drowning and needs help to reach the surface. Just Jones is the type of "Guardian Angel" who turns up right at the moment where life seems at it's worst and that it looks like there is no light at the end of the tunnel but Just Jones pops in and helps guide you to that light and shows that anything is possible with God's guidance and love. As the bible verse reads "All things are possible through Christ who strengthens me". Just Jones and Andy Andrews's other titles remind me of the Christian Film "The Encounter" which is one of my favorites as it is just as inspirational and touching as Andy Andrew's stories.

This book is....indescribable. Each person reading it will take away a different opinion on exactly which part of the story made it an excellent read, but they will all say it is an excellent read. It's a book for all ages, all genre, everyone.....

Just Jones is the 3rd book featuring Jones, just Jones, and Andy Andrews. Each is a journey into the life of a small town and the old man that acts as glue to keep it functioning as a community. In his store you will find anything you are looking for, even if it's just a conversation with Jones. I've been lucky enough to know a few "Jones" and would feel honored if they came to my town. Orange Beach, Alabama is his home and though he has roamed a few times, his town counts on Jones to return and solve their problems with a little common sense.

Give yourself a gift and read this book. You'll feel better when you do.

As I get older I realize that I appreciate common sense more and more in myself and others. My grandmother use to say, "Common Sense are two words that people just ignore".

Just Jones is a story, maybe a bit of an allegory, about a man who has befriended our author in other books. He seems to show up out of the blue while others are adrift and has a way through his words and actions of calming the rough seas of their lives.

There might be a little bit of magic, such as a huge heavy table that appears out of the blue in Jones' Five and Dime store and seems to be the catalyst for many a conversation among townspeople who might never have spoken to one another without its presence in the store.

As we get to know the people in this seaside town in Alabama we realize they are very human with problems that happen in life. Whether it's a young teen boy who learns how the simple act of bringing flowers to his mom will bring joy to both of them or a woman getting a second chance after being arrested by an act of kindness by Just Jones.

There are many characters and many lessons to learn in this novel. The one thing I know for sure is you will be smiling as you read these perfect words from a writer who is a well known motivational speaker and author. You might also want to keep a pad and pen nearby to write down some words of wisdom, or common sense, to pass along to others.

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

The story was interesting, I liked the quirky characters, The author seemed to want to speak wisdom and get you thinking, which is always a good thing, however, I think he tried to put too much into the story. One or two concepts would have been more memorable.
I received a complementary copy of this book from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review.

I've never read anything by this author before, and I haven't read the other books in what apparently is a series. I was able to follow the story, but I think I would've appreciated it more if I'd read the prior book. The book had some intense moments, but there was also humor to balance it out. It's a well crafted book that does make the reader think.

I enjoy any book written by Andy Andrews and I am particularly fond of The Noticer, “Jones”. I would highly recommend reading The Noticer first, it sets the stage for this sequel.
I learn something new about myself and a new way to look at my troubles every time I pick up one of his books. High, high 5 stars. This one sometimes went a little bit to deep, but it also had more humor so it was a nice balance.
I want to thank Thomas Nelson and NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read and review this book for my honest unbiased opinion. This is a 5-star review. Highly recommend.

An accurate description of this book might be -" A mysterious wise man comes to teach those in need of some direction. Using observations, advice and grand theorizing, he guides people to a new idea of themselves, and a path to a new future." It is a self-help book cleverly disguised as an uplifting work of general fiction. It may be a bit much to understand at first, but the truths found here are worth taking notes and digesting. The characters are well thought out and leave you with a clear picture in your head of how believable the whole story is.

A Noticer Novel

In The Noticer, we along with Andy Andrews learned -
You can't believe everything you think! We moved into the light.
Through his wit and wise sayings we can learn a new path.

In Just Jones we catch up with Andy and Jones just Jones.
We need to look at the broader view now and turn our lives around.
We need a Noticer right now, someone who notices things about people and situations that produce perspective.

I lost track of time while reading this book.
