The blurb caught my attention but after that I lost my interest and didn't read this book. Maybe next time.

As this book has already been published, I am choosing to work on the current upcoming publish date books in my que. Even though I am a historian by profession, I have to admit that this is a topic I knew almost nothing about. That's what piqued my curiosity and led me to start reading this book. And although it is still not a topic very close to my interests, I must say that it is an excellent and detailed, high-quality historical work, one that cannot be seen very often.

I found this to be an interesting read and I loved the writing style. I always love pieces which focus on one specific event or date and this book focuses on just that - an assassination. It is very obvious that the authors have a passion for the subject matter and for someone with an interest - it made the book even better.

this was a really interesting read, the writing was really good and you could to tell that the author had passion for the topic and researched it.

I would have loved to review this book, but the publisher gave but the Download option on NetGalley and nothing on my computer will open the file. I would be delighted to read the book and leave a review on the actual content, and subsequently change my review. My four stars reflect anticipation~! #AssassinationinVichy #NetGalley
