this was a really fun read, the characters were great and I thought it was a great start to a series. It made me look forward to more in the series.

I truly enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the wonderful imagination, and the depth of the characters and descriptions that were deep enough that I often could feel like I was there. I loved how the author explored doppelgängers, and took it to a level where entire communities of people were matched in different universes. I love challenging my own imagination, and this was truly a fun book!

The only reason that I gave a 4 star vs. 5 is because I had so much trouble throughout the book of staying immersed because the editing was very poorly done. I am hoping this is just the first run, and that the many many mistakes will be corrected. Almost every page had a lot of words run together with no spaces between, I was also often discouraged when entire sentences were out of order, or partially repeated one right after another. The interruption in the flow like this really affects the value for the reader.

Good stuff. I like time travel and scifi and this was quite entertaining. The author shows off his imagination with an interesting plot and good characterizations. This might be a hidden gem since it's been out a while but hasn't garnered much attention even though it's quite good.
